Nice movie but there are some things exageerated a little bit , I'm a Moroccan and we don't shoot kids or slap womens in the mountains randomly for the sake of a wounded foreign tourist , I think the director made up this silly detail lol

Yes, I'm American. A little ashamed to say so sometimes because of how many stuck up, uneducated, fat and lazy Americans there are but nonetheless I am proud to be in this country.

I'm planning on learning French next since I've pretty much mastered Spanish. I intend to set a good example for Americans in both countries.

I am an American as well, and I hope to, before I die, change the typical view of Americans, because I do believe that, as you said, many are uneducated, fat, lazy, and rather selfish. In reality it doesn't but I love doing that; setting songs to films that don't really fit. Someone is always able to find meaning behind it no matter what. I just thought it worked well at the time. Plus it was my favorite movie and my favorite song so I was like "What the heck. Why not". People seem to like it, though.

@estupido7490 I love the song but I have to tell you, and I mean no offense, but the video you chose to go with it was a major distraction for me. Sorry, I really don't mean to be critical, but instead of thinking about how I too want to really get to know God better, I was instead thinking about how these people in the video need to get out of the situations they're in. I didn't find God there at all. It had my head spinning so bad I couldn't enjoy the song.

It's about six different people who are all interconnected when an American woman is shot and injured while vacationing in Morocco. The story intertwines the other characters between Mexico, Japan, and America.

La verdad que es poco común poder ver en una cinta historias de personas pertenecines de toda una globalización y Babel te muestra eso una diversidad, quiza si es la tercer película de Iniarritu donde es las historias entrelazadas de ciertos personajes pero no tiene que ver nada Amores Perros , 21 gramos y Babel en nada son produccuiones totalmente diferentes. La verdad Para una mexicana como yo, esto me llena de orgullo.

yo resien acabo de ver la pelicul por la tele, y al prinsipio pense que era el mismo director de AMORES PERROS, pero nada que ver. me re gustoo el fin en que quisoo llegar este film, para mi la mejor parte es cuando a la chica estadounidense la llebaron a la clinica de la ciudad( laciudad paresia futurista a comaparasion del pueblo pobre en donde se alogo un par de oras) eso tambien te muestra diferencia economica inpresionante que hay en el mundoo. muy buena

Not to be nosy, but I watched this and cried. I understand what you mean about the finger not fitting, BUT.. Jesus would choose to hang out with These people because they need HIM. HE sees all even the finger & if that's what it takes to get someone lost to cast their eyes upon HIM, does it really matter. Have you seen the movie, Woman thou art loosed?

this is an Awesome song!!! it calls the proud to be humble and those who profess love to prove in truth and action, to both unbelievers and those who claim to have faith. beautiful, humble and romantic.

Thank you. Yes, it is as awesome song! However, take discretion when you rent Babel. There are four stories intertwined in the film and three of them are good. The Japanese story is a very risque and a lot stranger than the others but still a good part none-the-less.

What's wrong with Babel? It had a good biblical backstory to it. God's songs should not be limited to Christian movies.

I liked it, nice job; clips go good with this tune.  The movie itself is a powerful human drama that's well acted by all, great direction from Inarritu, well written and conceived by Guillermo Arriaga. After watching this for the 1st time I was like "talk about having a bad day!" Quite the cinematic experience and not to be missed.
