Damn. I didn't know Wayne Brady had it in him to perform this song so well. Not as emotional as previous collins' but good for Wayne to pull this song off. =)

I'm sorry but I really hate some of the changes NPH made. Like the orchestra, back up dancers, and song rearrangements. Jonathan LArson made an amazing masterpiece that last 12 YEARS on Broadway. Why would you change anything?

@JstBreathe94 Things have changed through RENT over the years before NPH did anything. Just listen to the music of the final broadway performance (which was filmed) and compare to the original soundtrack.

I agree. I saw this closing night, and although Wayne was absolutely fantastic he did seem to be overpowered by the ensemble. And Vanessa...I'm sure she's a sweet girl and from the show a decent actress but she just doesn't have the range or experience to rock out as Mimi. I was very disappointed with her, and found myself wanting to stick a pencil in my ear every time she sang.

Honestly, it's a shame that Vanessa Hudgens is so terrible that this show will receive nothing but bad publicity- because this performance is fantastic. It has a very Luther Vandross feel to it. I love it.

I wish he would have done more to the song..And been more powerful. This is one of those songs where you are just supposed to add stylistic quality to tons of it, Wayne can do that, hasn't anyone seen whose line? He sounds amazing, just hoped for more.
