all these comments and this video are interesting to say the least. however nothing is said about what to do or how to combat these child support orders.I am currently about to spend the rest of my life in jail..so yes while i see lots of comments and videos on how corrupt this is i see no way out for existing fathers and mothers currently being taken to court and rendered deadbeats and punished with jail time fines,ect. The child support enforcement system and the Title IV-D that is behind it is NOT about saving or helping children, it's about making money for the state. Most of the funds they are collecting is fraudulent. MOST of the dads who go to jail for non payment have actually been paying but their 'accounts' have been creatively modified to show $1000's in arrearages that had previously been overlooked somehow. It's corrupt and needs to change!

Most of the NCPs who should be in jail for for non payment are not. In fact most states don't even add in the interest on the past due which is required to be paid by law.

Two support cases against one person, neither acknowledge each other, or the other two children living with, nor the fact that no income is earned and take the female's word for how much is earned even though nothing has been in over 5 years. Arrears on one case alone equal over $20,000 and child is only 4. Even at 50% interest it goes back to before her birth...

How unbelievably biased is that? She gets to claim him EVERY year on taxes, and I KNOW for a fact, that it does not cost 450 a month to take
care of a child. That year I had my son full time, I didn't get a CENT from her, and I made it just fine. My son and I lived comfortably. She made more money than me, so why am I paying so much? Why can't I get joint custody even though my ex and I live less than 5 minutes apart, and I have my son as much as she does? @CollectChildSupport Thats just it, women have more adequate protections and assurances, not only do they have more, they have protections that is more effective, but if they get pregnant they have a choice to opt out via abortion or adoption.
Men have no means to opt out, him becoming a parent or not is a choice the mother makes because of the heavy lack in power and rights for men.
A man should have the right to opt out the same time period a woman can, during pregnancy and shortly after.

Well then I say that abortion for women should be completely illegal, and so should giving up a baby for adoption. Force women into the consequences of unprotected sex too. Force them to also be a parent, even if they don't want to. Lets see how long that lasts.

That's not the reality. Women get abortions all the time, and more and more children are ending up in foster care. Women are just as much to blame as men, when not coming to take responsibility. The only difference is, when women don't want to take responsibility, they can rid themselves of a child either through abortion, or adoption. When men dont take responsibility, they're forced to pay arrearages, or go to prison. Does that sound fair to you?

The child support enforcement system and the Title IV-D that is behind it is NOT about saving or helping children, it's about making money for the state. Most of the funds they are collecting is fraudulent. MOST of the dads who go to jail for non payment have actually been paying but their 'accounts' have been creatively modified to show $1000's in arrearages that had previously been overlooked somehow. It's corrupt and needs to change!

@TheRealVenna Where did you get these facts because they are false? Certainly there are always errors in any system, but the vast majority are accurate. Most of the NCPs who should be in jail for for non payment are not. In fact most states don't even add in the interest on the past due which is required to be paid by law.

@CollectChildSupport I'm living it. Anyone who has ever been in the system or touched by in some how knows how corrupt it is. Two support cases against one person, neither acknowledge each other, or the other two children living with, nor the fact that no income is earned and take the female's word for how much is earned even though nothing has been in over 5 years. Arrears on one case alone equal over $20,000 and child is only 4. Even at 50% interest it goes back to before her birth...

@TheRealVenna 1. There is no court in the land that takes a woman's word for how much the man earns. It may take her word for how much you used to earn. 2. Not working in over 5 years...not possible if you were looking for work. 3. $20k for 4 years is only $400/month without interest. That's very realistic.

Course we were against forcing a woman to be a mother when she doesn't want to and gave her a way out via abortion and adoption but are ok with forcing a man to become a father when he does not want to. See the double standard in this yet?

@CollectChildSupport The government does not want to give men the ability to opt out, cause that would basically kill their several million dollar business at the roots. Cause if men get that right, there would be no more men being forced into fatherhood and paying for children to mothers that they did not want to even have in the first place.
True equality would be achieved, both men and women having the right to opt out of parenthood when they do not want to be one.

@CollectChildSupport You're seriously misinformed. A judge has the authority to impose whatever child support fee they want. I'm ordered to pay 450 dollars a month for one child. This amount is seriously excessive, and even more than that, while my ex wife was on deployment for a year, and I had my son full time, she was not required to pay a CENT. How unbelievably biased is that? She gets to claim him EVERY year on taxes, and I KNOW for a fact, that it does not cost 450 a month to take

Why can't I get joint custody even though my ex and I live less than 5 minutes apart, and I have my son as much as she does? @CollectChildSupport 100% of child poverty is when the Extort Courts cant even get the right child with the right fathers and doesnt care what the dam DNA says! Moreover this is not even rare. Paternity Fraud is an epidemic in the millions (1 in 3) and some counties as high as 50-70%. 100% of child poverty is because mental midgets in charge of fixing the issue have instead hi-jacked the system for their own gain and job security!

The L.A. judges have a financial interest to order a non-custodial parent and to order a high child support payment. Under Title lV-D funding the higher amount orderd by the judges the higher the amount L.A. County can bill the feds and the State. In the years of 2009 an 2010 L.A. got over $230,000,000.00 in funding.

I must admit being a victum of this bullshit, it is beautifully brilliant no matter how softly you mention this flaw in the system people will say "shut up! and stop whining" I really think this country is so fucked it will never be anything ever again .When you aren't even aloud to mention this topic in most circles when it is so obviously present one can't refute it ,like ignoring it will make it go away. I lost my children thru this and now they need me to help them she won't .

The outcome of cases such as yours is usually emotional alienation of your childrens affections with their believing that you did not pay enough or had payed at all. Prevention is the answer. Evey young man should what they are singing up for prior to starting a family.

I knew a man who went through a divorce. She got the 2 kids, she got the house which he built himself and paid for and he also had to pay alimony and $2500 a month in child support. He lived in a van for 3 months to get back on his feet. He slaved away at work to prop himself up which meant he never saw his kids. But when he finally got a raise to help better himself she demanded more money. Eventually he blew his own brains out. Alls he ever wanted to be was a dad.

We can never find justice at the hands of corrupt judges. To end this title wave of corruption in our country must start with the corrupt judges. We can not bring evidence of corruption to corrupt judges. Los Angeles Superior Court judges are illegally and unconstitutionally taking 50,000.00 each for a total of 23 million per year.
