Why uploading a battle versus a guy that sucks? Pull that off on a Skilled player and, ok upload. But I could do it with an NU team vs 1 of my friend cause they don't know pokemon. It's not a good battle.

Smogon does it through pokemon online and wifi battles (i think, but idk how they'd do wifi without some kind of medium in which to collect data from the system). Saying you calculated why a crit didn't matter makes no sense at all, a crit changes the mindset of a good battler completely, realizing that they'll have to make a change to compensate for the extra damage. Saying that all of these crits didn't matter because of your "complex analyses" is just stupid.

Guys all I have to say is hop off. Yes the opponent made some stupid mistakes but that's not the narrators fault. And so what if the kid had a poorly structured team, that doesn't take away one shred from the fact that a UU team beat and ubers team. Deoxys was just bad; Reshiram had little reason to die how it did.

Regardless of how the dude played Zell said gave several scenarios of what could have happened. He played this match well enough to beat this team regardless of how well the other dude played.

Liked the video for sure. this is how you narrate guys - he might not have been that exciting and humorous like shofu or haydunn (fans of both), but he's explaining his thought process behind his team and pretty much his play by play. narrators seem to forget that we can read the damn screen - I don't need you to tell me you set up stealth rocks. I can obviously see that, along with your last 5 moves.
You said in your narration that a lot of the hax you got on the opponent didn't matter, but the truth is, you beat his ubers team primarily because of hax, considering he got no hax on you himself.
Maybe I phrased my sentence wrong. What I'm trying to say is that you got a TON of hax on your opponent, while your opponent did not get any hax on you. I have no respect for directors who think they are good by posting a battle where a UU team beats an Ubers Team where the director clearly haxes his opponent over. "I get a crit here and it seems like it matters, but (insert blatant excuse here)".
@ZellMurasame If you don't know don't speak stop telling people incorrect information. Those pokes are limbo meaning they aren't out so their information and 100% potential moves aren't either. Yes, they aren't banned by vote or anything, just not allowed yet. I figured I'd shorten it instead of repeating myself word for word. And many people have used both on PO, myself included, when BW was still new. So the moves aren't "unknown". The data is all there. There just isn't an event yet.

@PokemonHunterAnthony It was not staged, and it was found via Smogon. I didn't only win because of hax, I carefully explained how none of them mattered.
Nice job for beating the Ubers team, but that was poor play from the opponent. Not predicting the primape switch showed some inexperience, but staying in afterwards, locked into a useless move, was really bad. Not predicting the obvious sableye switch into hi jump kick was also not good, and then using thunder (50% accuracy in the sun) was just pointless, especially when HP Fire is stronger in the sun. I mean no disrespect to flubzor, but I'd rather see more experienced players on PMP.
Pretty good battle; UU is one of the best tiers imo because there is a lot of unpredictability you can run with the sets while still having some good base stats to work off of. Good narration as well, you focused more on reasoning why some things happened rather than just restating the battle for us, and it's always good to do homework on calcs and such, since it helps clarify how important some hax are in the battle.
If people want to criticize they have every right. They expect top quality battles from PMP and some of them think this isn't it. I liked the battle but the opponent wasn't very good

Incredibly sad that so many people like to bash others over the internet because they can pretend to be all high and mighty. I'll admit there have been a few sub-par battles on PMP, but nowhere near the level of hate that so many videos like this get.

This is a terrible terrible battle. The opponent's team is awful and he just made idiotic mistakes over and over again. The team is pretty much destroyed by Kyogre, Extremekiller Arceus, and pretty much any other threat in Ubers. He used Thunder in the sun, wasted his Darkrai, and couldn't make one simple prediction. This UU team is not viable whatsoever in Ubers unless you use it against somebody who has never played Ubers, or more likely Pokemon entirely, ever before.
This was an amazing battle. Hax happens, deal with it. I subbed this dude. He made so many calcs. Most people don't even do that. I subbed to this guy.

fine quality and fine commentary. no doubt in that. however, posting an ubers battle when using UU pkmn isn't really saying much. whenever i see a battle like this, its as if they r just trying to show off like " ohh look at me, i beat ubers with UUs, i must be pro. check me out PMP!!!" when in reality, ur opponent just clearly sucks. and u just wanted free Subscribers. its defiantly not the kind of battle to post on a big channel like PMP. it just makes u look like an ass. even if u are or not.

@CharlieSmurffy That entire middle section was handled poorly though, from Blaziken to Deoxys to Reshiram--Blaziken was negligible up until that suicide HJK when he should've been expected to die anyway & Blitz'd had he tried to remember Sableye. Deoxys was just bad; Reshiram had little reason to die how it did.

Regardless of how the dude played Zell said gave several scenarios of what could have happened. He played this match well enough to beat this team regardless of how well the other dude played.

Your "OR, just maybe" statement implied you believed it was a skillful match, where I'm arguing it was not despite hearing it was hard to get a good one. Otherwise, I never stated Zell's bad (my comment clearly bashed on flub), just a meh upload; I questioned the skill level of the match a la CRimSoN, not the narration.

nice narration. Liked the video for sure. this is how you narrate guys - he might not have been that exciting and humorous like shofu or haydunn (fans of both), but he's explaining his thought process behind his team and pretty much his play by play. narrators seem to forget that we can read the damn screen - I don't need you to tell me you set up stealth rocks. I can obviously see that, along with your last 5 moves.

Maybe I phrased my sentence wrong. What I'm trying to say is that you got a TON of hax on your opponent, while your opponent did not get any hax on you. I have no respect for directors who think they are good by posting a battle where a UU team beats an Ubers Team where the director clearly haxes his opponent over. "I get a crit here and it seems like it matters, but (insert blatant excuse here)".

This means putting them in a tier (OU or Ubers) would be incorrect placement. Learn your stuff don't give incorrect information and stop being a try hard when you don't know your stuff.

Yes, they aren't banned by vote or anything, just not allowed yet. I figured I'd shorten it instead of repeating myself word for word. And many people have used both on PO, myself included, when BW was still new. So the moves aren't "unknown". The data is all there. There just isn't an event yet.

Nice job for beating the Ubers team, but that was poor play from the opponent. Not predicting the primape switch showed some inexperience, but staying in afterwards, locked into a useless move, was really bad. Not predicting the obvious sableye switch into hi jump kick was also not good, and then using thunder (50% accuracy in the sun) was just pointless, especially when HP Fire is stronger in the sun. I mean no disrespect to flubzor, but I'd rather see more experienced players on PMP.

Pretty good battle; UU is one of the best tiers imo because there is a lot of unpredictability you can run with the sets while still having some good base stats to work off of. Good narration as well, you focused more on reasoning why some things happened rather than just restating the battle for us, and it's always good to do homework on calcs and such, since it helps clarify how important some hax are in the battle.
Overall, pretty impressive presentation.

This is a terrible terrible battle. The opponent's team is awful and he just made idiotic mistakes over and over again. The team is pretty much destroyed by Kyogre, Extremekiller Arceus, and pretty much any other threat in Ubers. He used Thunder in the sun, wasted his Darkrai, and couldn't make one simple prediction. This UU team is not viable whatsoever in Ubers unless you use it against somebody who has never played Ubers, or more likely Pokemon entirely, ever before.

Remember Sacred Fire has a 50% burn chance. So it was fairly possible that your Flygon got burned and died due to the burn.
