1.its surepress tech(meaning u push down on the letter/app etc. until it clicks.
2.yes...but if you hav it in your pocket turned on in school u NEED to check to make sure the screen is still locked and no pocket dialing happened or u might kill your battery in no time and you need to try to keep the screen clean
I have this phone and think it's awesome. The screen is so clear and it's really easy to navigate the programs. I was a little worried that it would be hard to use te keyboard but it's actually really easy. I would suggest this phone to my friends and family.
BUT THEY ARE SELLING UNLOCKED VERIZON 9530 ON CRAIGSLIST WERE I LIVE AND THEY CAN BE USED WITH ATT AND TMOBILE, ALSO THEY SELL THE UNLOCK CODES ON EBAY AND OTHER WEBSITES. ARE u SURE ABOUT THIS?
Personally I wouldn't trust it. There is a GSM Version of this phone sold in Europe which is the 9500 model. Most likely that can be unlocked and sold. Any reason you want to use it on GSM network? With the phone on Verizon you'll get the best data and voice coverage (not saying GSM data coverage is bad but Verizon's is currently better in terms of reliability and coverage) and you'll be able to go overseas and use 3G over there as well.
The 9530 is also a world phone and it can be used on att and tmobile. I already called two guys and they are using it with tmobile. You can go to settings and set it up as a gsm phone:)

If you can get it that way go for it. It won't work on T-Mobile's 3G though. T-Mobile's 3G data is on a different frequency.

The phone is build in with CDMA and GSM but the GSM part will only work overseas and currently can't be unlocked for GSM networks in the US.
