The wikipedia article Human_mitochondrial_DNA_haplogroup shows world maps of dispersion of mtDNA. The arrows and charts are designed to support "out of Africa", but are quite consistent with the fact that every human has mtDNA traceable back to one of three women whose haplogroups L,M,N were dispersed out of Mesopotamia. These were Noah's three daughters-in-law.
That is some profound misunderstanding of genetics. And some outright lies. The date for mitochondrial Eve is over 100,000 years ago. Plus, merely identifying the most recent common matrilineal ancestor is not at all the same as identifying the origin of humanity. If they want to take genetic evidence seriously, perhaps these "scientists" could tell us about the conclusion from genetic evidence that ancient human populations were NEVER smaller than tens of thousands.
@Daytimeofnight Screw these so-called scientists.. Trying to use knowledge of genetics to prove that the bible is true.. PAH! Sure, they might have an adequate understanding of the topic of mtDNA or Y- chromosome DNA but their conclusions are certainly wrong. Now they're trying to say that the father's mtDNA is mixed in with the mother's? If that is so, then why is it that if you examine the mtDNA of an individual and their mother, the sequence is exactly the same? :/
