Any one know if any of the Tulloch cars went into the rail herritage system through either HET, Trainworks down at thirlmere or some where similer as it'll be awesome to see at least one preserved (I'm just waiting till Railcorp pension off the tangara's aiming to get a non control car and turn it into a 2 bedroom (2 bedrooms upstairs easy and decent size) house or an acreage and a few of them for cheap housing for the less fortunate a roof is a roof and they'll make good little apartments
Just for clarification, the doors are open as they are not connected to a "c" car, therefore theres no power to sustain the air pressure that holds other force ventilated train doors closed.
Ah yes...the good old but trusty & ever reliable Tulloch Trailer Carriages. It was truly a sad day in 2004 when the last one went out of Railcorp service.
but unfortunately it's permanently coupled to the Red Rattler, so there is another tulloch carriage attached to it, but unfortunately, it only runs during the celebrations of NSW Rail Systems.

@bcousins1
If these trains were transfered today, the doors will be glued shut so no idiots will try to get in...

all they really needed was a good paint job, and a fair bit of general maintenance.

No there are two in that train T4801 and T4814.

@clubpenguin777 No way. I once remember jumping off a Tulloch going a fraction of this speed and nearly took a tumble. It's faster than it looks.
