Dropcentre Tram at the Brisbane Tramway Museum

This tram looks funny. Was it in use for regular service or just for summer sightseeing? In earlier times people have to pay fares when leaving? Like in Hong-Kong.

It was in use for regular service, all year round. I think you'll find Brisbane is much warmer than anywhere in Germany. When they were in service, there was a conductor on the tram, who sold tickets, most of the tickets would be sold when people first got onto the tram.

Love the trams Noofy!,I can just remember my mum taking me on the last tram to Mt Gravatt Central when I was 5 years old!. Thanks for posting them,must get out there to have a look!
