Let's say that I knew how to pop, lock, and bboy(breakdance) for real. Does Garry's Mod give enough control that I could have them do real moves if I wanted? I know this video is probably for laughs cuz it is quite funny but I was wondering if you had Max and the cop's arms flailing around because it's funny and/or because you don't have enough control to make fluid movements?

The HL2 engine can be quite sketchy sometimes depending on what you intend to do, I can easily say this was for fun and our method for controlling the ragdolls is quite simple and unorthadox. GMod has some very complex tools and options which can be used to manipulate a ragdoll body in pretty much any way you want with enough practise. Making the movement fluid would be hard and it also depends on the ragolls you use, some of them weren't created with proper physics.

But yes....basically you should be able to do what you want with them and make it look good, just expect it to take alot of time and pissing around.

It's Garrys Mod for HL2 and it's a Max Payne model I downloaded, you can easily find it on Garry's website
