I love all the videos of our military guys having fun, even while in the deserts of hell. It really touches me to know what a great fighting machine you are and yet you have humility and that wonderful American sense of humor and fun. This video was awesome.

When I was teaching Spanish in a litle Christian school, I used this song with which the kids were already familiar, and worked with a Puerto Rican student to translate it into Spanish. I now have young friends in Peru from my missionary trips there who are trying to learn English, and so I am sending this along with the complete verses and translation! It was delightful and fun to see this! Thanks so much for sharing! We pray for you guys (my son served a year with the National Guard in Iraq)

You don't know my son, but what you wrote is derogatory to my son and others like him. And it hurts. If you knew my son, you would not talk that way. When you are back home, please take some time to visit some Special Olympic events and let me know if you would still use that line. I enjoyed the video + was happy to see the enthusiasm and joy you felt.

@pcjoni I have volunteered summers working as a camp counselor at a camp for mentally and physically challenged people of all age groups. From young children all the way to the elderly. I have changed more adult diapers in my life than children's and at the time was fluent in sign language. I played chess against a handicapped guy from Ohio who was confined to an electric wheelchair but he worked for NASA as an astrophysics designer or somewhere along those lines. I understand the hardship.

I am preaching this FAther's Day Sunday on the Abraham and Sarah Genesis text where they laugh at God for promising them a son at age 90 and 100, then Isaac (which means laughter) is born. The children (and any willing adults!) will sing this song during the children's sermon. My message is how laughter is a gift of grace and hope from God in the midst of times of crisis/tough times - this video is a great illustration. Thank you - God Bless Our Troops!
