looks like he discharged a capacitor or similar, you can see an arc travel some distance. Unless this guy was carrying a high static charge and discharged to earth? possibly the most dangerous part would be somebody startling you by shoving their mitts near where you were working, or jumping on your access equipment and destabilising you...

He didnt touche a live wire, he had one prong on the active and the other prong on the metal casing (earth) then he touched the metal casing and obviously made an easier path to flow then the earth... quiet wierd tho.

@BENP5637 9v with 40 amps will kill u, its not the voltage that kills you, the mechanism out of an electric lighter has over 1000v and wont kill you cuz theres no amps, all you need is more than 0.3 amps to travel across your heart, and you will be dead. u can get amps across your finger tho and you wont die, because it only travels across your finger nothing vital, but when it travels across your heart, you will die, becuase it will send your heart out of rythem because it works on electricity.
