  • It's a shame they fired gilbert gottfried as the aflac duck. Then again he shouldn't have made those comments about the japan tsunami.

  • Poor Rudolph

  • Aflac the red-billed reinduck! :D

  • lol funny

  • lol Santa has an aflac plan. =)

  • Are 2 of the original Rudolph voice cast members - Billie "Rudolph" Richards and Paul "Hermey the Elf" Soles - doing the voices for their characters in this TV commercial for AFLAC!

  • I guess you've never seen a MetLife commercial with Snoopy. LOL

  • I wish these companies would leave these classics alone. Some things should be considered sacred and not commercialized. This is one of those. Selling out our fond childhood memories for insurance!.. ecch..

What's next? Snoopy selling insurance too?!

  • True but Ironically Rudolph was created for commercial reasons

But a do agree nothing is sacred any more

  • lol snoopy DOES sell insurance silly =) serious he and woodstock are on an insurance commercial i forgot what company though... but snoopy is A GOD!

  • That would be Met Life..and I believe all the Peanuts' characters are involved in that one.

  • METLIFE!

  • @afroebob But if you look at the market and especially company accolades, Aflac will come out way better than Met Life. Aflac has been on the top ten list (number 1 in 2009) of most admired insurance companies for more than a decade. (And they usually land in the top 3) There really is no other insurance company in the world that does what Aflac does. Aflac on average pays claims in 4 days. Who else can say that?

  • Remember, this was done without permission from Classic Media, which owns these characters and animation style.

  • Comment removed

  • noo they had permission!

  • Are you sure this was done without Classic Media's permission?

  • The Japanese Aflac duck is soooooo mild by comparison. I miss American commercials sometimes.

  • LOL at 27-30

  • AFLAC has outdone itself this time! I'm sure Rudolph will be all better by Christmas Eve!

  • Let's hope so..and let's hope is nose is glowing by that time, too.

  • That duck IS Gilbert Godfried!

  • That duck sounds like Gilbert Godfried!

  • lol i turned into a duck !

  • This reminds me of this and other similar Christmas specials you just don't see anymore. They did a good job making this one look like the original!

  • It looks so much like the original animation! I love it!

  • Announcer: Rudolph's better, but now Blitzen's sick!

    Duck: Woah!

    That is funny!

  • Gilbert Gottfried is GREAT as the Aflac Duck! He was the horse on an episode of Family Guy!

  • And he was also the voice of the parrot (Iago) in the Aladdin movies and TV series.

  • AAAAAAAAAAFFLAAC!!

  • Weeeee
