  • My church breaks bread with bikers from various groups. They call themselves Bond Slaves. They ride Harleys and share God's word! I was thrilled to meet them. They were glad we accepted them and had service with them. I think we should open all routes that can lead many to God!! Yahooo! yea!

  • It's so good to here young men rap about all powerful God!

  • Every music including hip hop, R&B, jazz, metal rock, etc, belongs to God.

Music was created to praise and glorify God, the world are distorting them.

  • Christian Rap my channel, check me out. God bless you. -David

  • And the answer is: !YES!

  • stop being over righteous... why should you persih before your time?

  • ...hip hop IS used by some "artists" to warp the average Christian youth. The problem is that people tend to just nod along and not be critical about the lyrics. I was watching a christian televangalist who called Jesus a "hound of Heaven" ...just sorta slipped it in one of the fast parts of his sermon. No one noticed. You have to really pay attention to words. It is the tongue that holds the power of life and death, not the music.

  • i understand where you are coming from and its true, but we have to take into consideration that these guys rapping have actually been in the word and it shows in the music. This is encouraging to the youth because these day the main rap artists in the music industry are promoting sinful stuff. IN a way music does have a big effect on people but i will always encourage the youth to read the word so they can know wat is truth.

  • thooks you seriously have no life... copying a bible, seriously kid get a life.

  • To the saints, God is the same God, the God who created music. Who do you think gave flame his talent? embrace what God is using to reach each generation, listen to the lyrics and know that it is ministry to the sheep that on the streets who can't or will not listen to the voice of Jesus without gospel rap. I urge you to use the talent God has giving you to minister His Gospel, the Good News.

  • there's nothing worldly about the cross movement ministry haha

  • jus because hes rapping on a hip hop beat doesnt mean hes doing anything "wordly" chill out n get a upgrade this is a new generation

  • A new generation, but the same Holy God, and the same Holy Gospel. His message has not changed.

  • Right. So, how is Flame distorting the gospel, or God's holiness?

    Please provide a specific example.

  • LOL!

Do you mean that this music is worldly?

  • God can turn all things into good. Isn't that what Christian rap is? Turning what the world has perverted into rap worthy enough to glorify God? At what point should Christians hold on to dignity, when even David in 2 Samuel said, "I will become even more undignified than this," when he was scolded for praising the Lord and disrobing. I don't mean to judge, or scold you, or anyone. I just can't agree with you (thooks9).

  • Are you comparing what David did to Hip Hop? God can turn all things into good, true, He CAN do anything but will he? Will God turn pornography good? Will He turn Crack cocaine good? How about liquor? We supposed to be separated from the world. James 4:4 know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? If mcmt1139 therefore will be a friend of the world, he is the enemy of God.

  • All of the things you mentioned are perverted and twisted elements of God's original plan and all forms of music is included. So you may ask, wheres the change, the difference, the separation? The change, the division, the separation comes from God work in those that have perverted the aforementioned. The crack addict can receive Christ and so on... and testify in the same areas he/she was dealing and what not. How else are others in these industries suppose to receive Christ?

  • The same way you did! If you are a saved. By hearing. And hearing by the word of God. God doesnt need Hip Hop. Do you even know what Hip Hop is? Its origin? Who created it? It's a culture. And it directly goes against God's word. Do your research on Hip Hop. They cannot come unless they be drawn. John 6:44. We dont have to change God's word to reach anybody. I am to be the light of this world, why would I confuse it with darkness? God is not the author of confusion.

  • @thooks9 Look, where in the scriptures did God say, thoug shalt not listen to hip-hop. isn't adding scriptures and talking about jesus, considered preaching. Well flame has just changed it, everybody have different talents that we can use to glorify God my brother. It's not the Hip-hop that was the problem with secular my friend, it was the message and kind of life that they promoted. And trust me, there are alot of Holy hip hop artistes that are totally aDon't judge a book by its cover.

  • In my opinion, adding a couple scripture verses and including the name of Jesus does not necessarily make something holy and acceptable. God is not the author of confusion and (in my opinion) holy hip hop is very confusing, especially to young Christians. I see no difference between the way they perform, dress, act, neither can I tell from the music videos that they are glorifying God

  • Friend, I understand that we should be Holy as God is Holy and has called us to such a life. Flame and the cross movement believes and practices such things.

I find nothing worldly about the cross movement and have seen much fruit as a result of this ministry.

Perhaps you can explain to me how Flame's music is worldly? Exactly what worldliness does he promote?

  • I think Flame and the cross movement ministry are merely following Paul's example (see:1 Corinthians 9:19) as he and them follow Christ.

  • 19For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.

Please expound. I don't understand how this relates to God and Hip Hop? And how can we mix a Holy God with Hip Hop? Please explain your choice of scripture.

  • Sorry, I meant verse 19-23.

I believe Paul is willing to become all things to reach all men. I believe Flame is following this example by using the hip-hop culture to present the gospel.

Flame's hip-hop is not the same as secular hip-hop. Flame incorporates the gospel into hip-hop and raps about doctrinal truth. He is basically preaching the gospel through a popular medium.

How is this unholy? Care to provide some specifics?

  • 21To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

So you should use a sinful medium to gain sinners? You mentioned the hip hop culture, do you know what that is? The five elements of it? And its origin? WHo started it? His beleifs and why? Or are you aware of Satan and music? The illuminati and Hip-Hop? The illuminati and Gospel Rock? Mc ing (rap) is only 1 element of Hip Hop.

  • Well, flame has turned hip-hop into something beautiful, because his raps are definitely not sinful. Indeed, they bring glory to God.

As it is, many people who were caught up in secular hip-hop no longer listen to those rappers, instead they listen to flame and the cross movement. They worship God and bring glory to Christ through the ministry of cross movement.

You still are not providing me with any specific examples as to how cross movements raps are sinful.

    I'm waiting....

  • Furthermore, Flame's music has been a blessing to many believers in Christ.

We find his music encouraging and edifying.

God is doing wonderful things through the cross movement, and reaching people who are often time difficult to relate to.

I don't see why you are critical of this ministry. You are defending God's holiness, which is good. However, Flame is doing the same thing.

  • Thooks God does need us to help because the world cant hear him. God tries to tell the world to stop, but it cant listen, its so infused in sin. Thats why holy hip hop is here because of the great commission.
