  • Durring both WW1 and WW2 Australia lost more men per capita than any other nation on earth. In WW2 as an example we lost 40% of our men over eighteen years of age. All this for wars fought on the other side of the planet. In return Brittian pulled out of Singapoor leaving us for the Japs. Thankfully America stepped in. Australia is also the only country that has fought beside America in every single external conflict it has ever been invloved in. Many Americans are unaware of this.

  • @Shilo2010 Australia, while not as wealthy as the United States Australia has never requested or recieved financial assistance from the USA. As the wealthiest, most stable, well developed country in the Pacific rim (achieved in 200 years!), we take the roll of the USA in our region. We support failing currencies, give aid, send rescue workers, protect freedoms ect ect for our region. Aussies never ask for a hand out, we see ourselves as little brothers to the US but worthy of big bros respect.

  • @Shilo2010 Well stated! Couldn't have said it better myself. Austrailia has ALWAYS had our back...Cheers!

  • @CheckM8King2 Back at ya America.

  • @CheckM8King2 Just realised you followed me across from "what an American thinks about Australia"...Does this mean we are going steady? lol. see ya round, Check.

  • @Shilo2010 Ever feel like you're talking to much? I do now but cannot leave without mentioning that I have just worked out us both being here and there and is complete coincidence.....so......are we still going steady? lol.

  • @Shilo2010 LMAO...don't think we'll be swapping spit in the shower!.....I love you Aussies...great sense of humor.....always let it all hang out...Best to ya partner!

  • @CheckM8King2 lol@ spit. made me laugh. tc.

  • this speech was 4th in the top ten on 2/09/74.

  • What a wonderful speech! To the late Mr. Sinclair, thank your for your astute observations at the time. Btw, this speech made it into the top 10 billboard charts sometime in either '73 or '74 and there were two versions of this in the top 40 at the same time. I think both of them made it into the top 10...quite an accomplishment!

  • As true today as it was in 1973. America does the "international policing" job other nations can't---or won't---do; yet we are called "imperialist" for making sure "free trade" routes stay safe and open and despots don't spread their tyrannical rule. What other single nation---and its people---have given so much money in foreign aid (like to Haiti for example) than America?

Yet we are bad-mouthed all over the world as "the Great Satan" and as a bully SuperPower.

  • @LechDharma love America! ... from Canada!

  • @ONLYthroughTHECROSS And the best to you and the gratious folks across the river in Windsor, Ontario...from your neighbor in Detroit!

  • @CheckM8King2 Thank you ..live in the US six months of the

year married to an American ...

  • God Bless the United States of America and all her allies! Together, all things are possible!!

  • those other countries are controlled by a puppet master...

  • There's a reason why the US sends help to countries like India and not the other way around. The average American makes 50x more money than a person in India.

  • @Intranetusa

Is the average cost of living lower in India too? Consider that, research, and get back to us.

  • @lansain

Yes, but that is factored in by using PPP, or purchasing power parity. Even taking into consideration cost of living with PPP, the average person in the US still makes 15x or so more money.

  • A lot of this is true but there is a motive behind every event. However I think more countries should send more friendship to the States instead of trying to grind this young country down. We all do owe something to the USA no one can deny that!.

  • revisionist posts here, really irritate me. re: Britian and France made the world into their own image up to their defeat at the hands of The Nazi's and Japanese. Then we are supposed to come running and bail them out of another endless and perennial European conflict. Why? and we have been trying to fix what the Colonial powers did to the third world ever since i.e. Balfour Agreemen amongst other duplitious backroom deals No, we owe the rest of the world nothing!.

  • flamingo presidential suite

  • After watching this video now I know why Obama has stopped America from going to the moon. Marxists are like that. His next move is to take us to hell.

  • We needed that; I hope Everyone will see this!! Even if it was created years ago, it's still relative. HURRAY, Canada, OUR friends!!!

  • canada's always had our back, even now when our government is nothing more than dogshit, who stands next to us, the canadians

  • i'm american and if only the rest of the world saw this.....man what a great human being

  • @brawler795 LOL I dont not think the Americans "raced" into the 2 world wars. If the cowardly Yanks had not sat on their arses for most of the second world war, 90% of the problems we have had since , would not have happened, so it is only right the Americans should put right what happened since world war 2 cos they are responsible.

  • @1middlesbrough

So what you're saying is.... we should have started fighting your wars earlier?

  • @drbackjack Are not Allies supposed to help each other, we and everyone else supported the US when you were attacked 9/11 , but did you support Democracy in Europe in 1940, maybe you were frightened , that is what many people here think

  • Comment removed

  • @1middlesbrough Americans weren't responsible for WWII, go spend your time re-reading history...Hilter was a whack job and only the Americans could stop his psychotic racist driven killing spree. No one assisted American when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and we didn't point fingers. No one helps America when we have natural disasters like America is always doing - Thailand, Mexico, Japan, I could go on and on. Americans are ALWAYS the first to help other nations so go sit down.

  • @anj1437 No one assisted you at Pearl harbor, we had already been at war for 3 years and you had been warned continually. Moreover by the time America got involved in Europe ,1943, the war was as good as won, you just cleaned up , you were the janitors if you like. You were the last to help out in the war because you admired fascism , of course if it was communism you would have been the first to get involved right yes right

  • @1middlesbrough While it is true that the battles that turned the tide in the European theater were fought by the British and the Russians it was the states that sent supplies to them for those victories and don't forget that without the U.S. England could not have opened the second front without American troops and supplies and that not even the Russians wanted to fight a war on two fronts like the United States did

  • @classicrocker2142 you mean "sold supplies to the allies" you made a tidy peacetime profit . By the time the second front started June 1944 the Russians had broken the Germans they would have won anyway

  • Respond to this video... and even with the fighting in western Europe the States had more men then the English

  • @1middlesbrough What an asshole. Where do you live? next time you useless idiots start a war I want to be sure we bomb the right people.

  • @unclexeres talk sense

  • @1middlesbrough talking the truth

  • Respond to this video... talk sense

  • @1middlesbrough And maybe if the rest of Europe had not sat on their hands when Hitler moved into the Sudetenland, annexed Austria, moved into the Rheinland, and hadn't listned to Neville Chamberlain's pathetic "Peace in Our Time" after the Munich conference, it's poosible WW2 may have be averted all together. The European allies came to the US begging for supplies to help in job they couldn't finish. Your comments about "The Yanks being cowardly" is unsubstantiated and unwarranted as well!

  • @CheckM8King2 "begging for supplies" are we not supposed to be allies, are not allies not supposed to help each other, like when that 9/11 happened this country jumped in , or the government did; not many people here agreed or think we should have helped as the U.S did not lift a finger, or maybe a middle finger in 1940. The Rhineland, Austria and Sudetenland were German speaking territories anyway; only the British and French done anything after Poland was invaded

  • @CheckM8King2 Don't forget to mention Brittian pulling out of Singapoor "for the greater good" and leaving 15 thousand Aussies to be captured and tortured at the hands of the Japanese and the probable invasion of Australia. You can thank the Americans for stepping in. Iv lived all over the States. I am married to an American, I was in NY durring 9/11. I for one would like to say thank you. Most Australians agree and. Pls keep in mind 12 year old net trolls do not speak for us all, thank God.

  • 50 people are smug, self-righteous canadians.

  • GOD Bless America!!!!

  • OMG!!!!!!!!this is sooo true and its kinda sad

  • God bless America for all the good it has done for the poor and oppressed of the world. God save America from evil men who seek to destroy it from within by making others disobedient to the law of almighty God, provoking His wrath.

  • where did that parade take place at :29?

  • Yet we can't even help our own citizens. Thanks Eric Cantor.

  • 49 Communists disliked this video.............

  • RIP gordon Sincliar and a balted Canada day to all our brothers and sisters up in the north land.

  • This video is irrefutably true. Lets get someone into the White House who knows it!

  • @WKEthan I just took a play out of your progressive playbook. How does it feel???? =Stefan=

  • @WKEthan He never mentioned Katrina. What, we never had hurricanes before Katrina? I remember back in '63, hurricane Eva had us on the east coast scared to death. You may be a history major, (ask your professors if there teaching true history, and not modified). I have an interest in history, study it on my own, and lived a bit of it. Also, I noticed you started off with insults in your last posts. Typical liberal. No debate, just insult. Piven would be proud of you. =Stefan=

  • @WKEthan Sure, for an example, the US dollar was devaluating back in the '70's. Gas prices were going through the roof. Electric bills were so high, My neighbor opened his breaker, he couldn't afford to pay his electric bill. And the Red Cross had no money. I didn't read that, I LIVED IT!!!Back in '74, gas was so scarce, that, odd and even was instituded. If the last number of your license plate was odd, you can get gas on certain days of the week. Even were on the others. Research history.=S=

  • It is nice not to be blamed for a corrupt government which we are working to change. Death to the New World Order, the U.N., WORLD BANK, IMF, CFR, TRI LATERAL COMMISION and THE FEDERAL RESERVE. The politics that gave rise to an Empire of Corporate collectivists will fall to the People of the Republic Of the United States of America!

  • "Quando se fala em tecnologia japonesa vc tem rádios, quando se fala em tecnologia alemã vc tem carros, quando se fala em tecnologia americana, você tem o homem na lua"

    hahaha tirou onda

  • @WKEthan Idiot, read history. Oh, maybe you can't read! You have my sympathy. Or maybe pity. Idiot! =Stefan=

  • If the U.S. moved Canada would fall on Mexico.

  • Look,America has problems, isn't perfect, and did some horrible things in the past. But i'm sick and tired of others ganging up on the US and focusing ONLY on the few times our government/military screwed up. Forget anything positive we've ever done.Yes,innocents died in Iraq,Afghan,Nicaragua, etc.But do you think we're proud of it?We try to help all over the world:Haiti, Japan,China, Africa, etc. Why don't we get any respect for that? Canada,Australia, and Japan are the few who do give us credit.

  • This speech is from '73 but truth remains to this day. God Bless the United States which is damned if it does and damned if it doesn't . To this day theit remains the most giving country filled with the most giving people on the planet.

  • God bless America, God bless Canada, and God bless our allies who stand with us. We salute you, even when in hard times like these!

  • and now its bombs...americians be counted for people like you, human beings, the workin class people of the world.you are the shinin star that set the world up for people to belive you can be free..we can be free..your dream is dying...as is mine.

  • Thank You.

  • I ❤ CANADA :) From your Southern Yankee neighbor :)

  • Not completely true. Australia is always there when America needs us, whether it's sending troops to unpopular wars or firefighters to help battle your forrest fires, we always stand side by side with our American brothers. My father served along side Americans in Vietnam and thought they were great soldiers and generous to a fault. I do agree with the sentiment though, the good America does always goes unappreciated.

  • @gragrn In my opinion you diggers are unappreciated by us yanks. I for one know that when we need you to, you gritty ausies hold, just like at port moresby

  • @gragrn you're right, I'll add that there was an article I read stating that Australia has been America's STAUNCHEST ally. So you won't be getting any digs against Australia from me. The Euroweenies though, are another matter.........

  • @gragrn I thank you for your words! In a word of hate we americans are favored targets and hearing those kind words bring me hope in a world where we have little allies and little hope. But I'm glad we will have the rough and tuff australians to back us up!!! brothers to the end!!!

  • @gragrn You know that's true, I have never heard an Australian say crap about us, and you guys always help us.

  • Also America really doent need any aid if its hit by a problm, so again this is BS.

  • America isnt the only country to help. This is slight BS.

  • @mwillis1000 By and large this was true, until the inauguration of the communist obummer. Don't forget this was made in 73.'

  • @mwillis1000 Yeah, the ones that need help are helped by us, we gave the most aid in money to Haiti in a struggling economy. But hey that doesn't matter, remember Vietnam?

  • As military person from the sixties. I would be honard to stand beside any AMERICAN Soldier,,,,, to the death. They are so true blue,,, true blue,,,true blue !!!!! May the Great Spirit watch over our American brothers, who stand so tall and brave. Love you all.

  • The Canadians have since paid us back with the longest sniper shot on record. God Bless the Canadian troops.

  • @DIYWMD dear god..... it never ends does it?

  • Libya...oh no...we aren't interventionist aholes like Americans fixing a problem we created. Yeah, we didn't create the problem in Libya. Now, suddenly, France wants OUR help.

The other countries in NATO are also running low on munitions for the bombing there. So guess which country they are gonna ask to help?

    Yeah, the U.S.

Oh hey...Syria...horrible tragedy there...though who will be asked by Europe to help...US...and the liberals are already reporting the Syrians are asking for help.

  • Christ, And I thought Yanks were up their own arses, But this Canadian is full of shit.

My country (UK)has done a hell of lot more for world peace, We give more in one year to charities than the Yanks do in Ten!

And who do you think is right there with them when they start illegal wars in other countries? The last training camp was handed over to the Taliban in Afghanistan in 1996... Yanks make the mess, Then they expect other countries to bail their backsides out of the fire. I'm out of words;)

  • @MrCAWilding

You are probably looking at official government aid. Even if you are, the United States actually gives more in absolute terms than any other country, though in terms of %GDP it lags behind several countries, including the UK.

However, you fail to consider private donations, and the fact of the matter is that Americans as individuals are far more generous than people in any other country. I'd post links to data, but Youtube tends to dislike them. Do some research, you'll see.

  • @MrCAWilding

Not sure where you get your facts. They're false. :)

  • @etb4u No they're not false, my friend, They're called facts, Something the US has forgotten about, You've turned into the country you didn't want anything to do with, The whole reason for your Independence. Now you're run by smart mouthed mealy thieving bastards who wave the flag when it's in their own interest and you lot are so badly educated you fall for this BS and fall right in line...Wake up and get your country back from them before it's too late ;)

  • Canada+USA=BFF'S

  • @ThatBoyTLong More like Big brother and little brother. Both children of Great Britain which is now like are basket case Alzheimer father who has lost his mind.

  • the speaker forgot to mention the dozen nations devastated by american intervention "in the fight for libery' (but actually a fight for american wallets) and the billion of people exploited and left to rot by its economy.

  • hahaha wtf's up with this video..

    worse than russian propaganda

  • Dead on. A sharp shooter of his time even for a Canadian. LOL

  • Amen...gotta love our neighbors to the north eh =)

  • Those were the days. We're stupid, fat, greedy, warlike and lazy now- this coming from an American.

European countries are dull and full of thieving, lying assholes too. It's a worldwide problem.

  • If it weren't for the USA the world would still be in world war ONE. Thank you mister Canada for you're wonderful speech:)

  • @GIsupersoldier

No doubt the United States contributed greatly to both World Wars on the side of the Allies. It's soldiers deserve the utmost respect. That being said, implying that the only reason the Allies were victorious is because of the United States is not only false, but denigrating to the millions upon millions of other Allies who served in both World Wars.

  • @v3ntulus Whoever said that America is the only reason the Allies won both WWs needs a history book upside the head. What about the french resistance fighters? The russian soldiers who first set foot in Berlin? THe British pilots who destroyed the german damns? The Australians who securded the southern flank of the pacific? Never forget Colonel Doolittle and the 30 seconds over Tokyo, also never forget the men and woman who gave there lives to end the wars. In short, the soldiers won the wars

  • @ArodWingfoot Without fundung from the Americans, it would have never been possible.

  • @roger6060 Well economy wise of course we where to only reason the wars where won. We sent planes tanks everything needed to keep an army in running order to everyone in the war. I was talking about the soldiers sacrifice.

  • @ArodWingfoot And let's not forget that Canada was Britain's major ally for the first two years of the war and contributed a great deal to the effort too in everything from a food and a merchant marine to escort supplies across the Atlantic to training grounds for the RAF in Canada to raising the 3rd largest army in the world at the time to support the Allies.

  • @v3ntulus, shut up, hatemonger

  • Maybe it's time to call back our loans? (Love you Canada)

  • Everybody should see this.

  • Go, canada. -United States :)

  • This makes me proud, and it's true for today in the U.S.

  • looking at the likes and dislikes there's 46 communist that has watched this video, definitly obama zombies

  • @Boomer1947 Pardon, but I think Obama is proud of this. Don't you?

  • America Helps other countries, who helps America in time of need!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ji2140 36 years after this speech and still no one has helped

  • I'm glad to see so many positive comments about the Canada/America relationship it was the complete opposite of what i expected. I didn't think canadians liked Americans but now i feel optimistic and kind of hopeful. I can honestly say this is one of my favorite videos on youtube, always in my favorites.

  • @Abnormalproductions2

Every Canadian I've met personally has been fond of Americans. And, I can't say anything but good things about the Canadians. I definitely want to visit up there some time. Very friendly people.

  • When has anyone else helped the Americans? How about Canadians during 9/11? We have sacrificed blood and treasure for over a decade in Afghanistan, lost over 150 brave soldiers to find the bastard responsible, and will stay for three years more.

What foreign country helped the Americans more than Canada during Hurricane Katrina? Who was among the many countries that helped clean up the massive Gulf oil spill? Canada. People whine we're anti-American. What country is more pro-American than us?

  • @v3ntulus its ok America loves u Canadians too

  • @v3ntulus It's people like you who give me hope :)

  • Come on don't be stupid this is a propaganda video.

  • Just change dates and events to current events and this song is every bit as true today as it was in the 70's. We keep sending goods and money overseas to nations that would thank us by killins our soldiers and not think twice about it. SCREW THEM. Its time we start taking care of our own people. The day when our kids dont go to bed hungry or without medical care and our people have real jobs maybe then we can help others.

  • The U.S.A and Canada share the most peacefull relationship that any two countries can and still be seprate countries! If the Americans wanted to mess with other nations and are as evil as ppl say then why has Canada done so well setting a top her? Hell, Canada even uses the metric system and the U.S. hasen't even the desire to change that. America is the most un-fairly treated country in the world, but they can handle it and stand tall with all the peace loving nations of the world!

  • @ginko27 Well said.

  • Thank you!!!

  • all of the misinformed persons in all the countries that bash the USA especially the countries who we have helped and then when we have a natural disaster ,won't lift a finger and often sit back and laugh need to be forced to sit in a room and watch this over and over again until they get some sense in their brains......and heres is to all the USA haters, FUCK YOU WE DO MORE THAN ANY OTHER COUNTRY EVER, and you all should be happy we let you reside on OUR planet/ solar system

  • @hateplow420 I'm an american and I agree with you, but a little harsh on the "our' the planet belongs to everyone, and belongs to no one but God. The U.S. is just in a high state of power, that's all. Even if we some how took over the entire world and every continent became America, the planet still isn't ours

  • I recently saw a documentary on youtube about Americans and Canadians. I learnt that it was the Canadian ambassador in Iran who smuggled some US embassy personal out of the country with fake Canadian passports during the Iranian hostage situation. Damn, that just makes me a proud American. Yet even more, a proud North American.

Thank you, Canada. Our two countries kind of kiss ass. Just saying.

  • And yet we wouldn't have it any other way. Where much is given, much is required.

  • Funny, in a sad kind of way, not funny ha ha. That this is still true today, some 38 years later. We will go over to Japan and help them out. But, where were they during Katrina? If they sent help I never heard about it. We are going broke as a nation. USA, China, Japan.. The three largest economies. So, lets see what happens. Just wondering. And also, I hope the devastation in Japan is not as bad as they are expecting....

  • Pearson and Trudeau forever! China aid went to warlords, Egypt aid to ancestors of regime, Amazon to dictators, Niger ditto. Nicaraguan "earthquake" money went to Somozas. Our best planes are for killing. Moon mission was propaganda with byproducts. Draft dodgers were harassed by J. Edgar Hoover. Our Red Cross let Holocaust happen. And so on. Sinclair profited from the misery of the Depression, and now other countries have gladly lent us money to dig our own graves. What an irony.

  • @dogkelp

In sum, all modern superpowers give aid as part of their strategy, and to expect it from others when their own politicians pocket earmarked public funding that could solve the problem on its own is the height of hypocrisy. We've made mistakes in this country, and there's no pride in not owning up to them and trying to fix them instead of using misguided praise from other countries' elites as an excuse to perpetuate them ad nauseum.

  • @dogkelp

Cynic much? There is no selfless nation, this is true. But when the Pakistani floods happened recently, our soldiers put down their guns to go out and do what we could. We helped thousands, possibly including people who'd normally be launching rockets at us. All we seemed to succeed in doing is getting Pakistanis to say "America do more! You're not doing enough!"

You're over the top cynicism seems just as ignorant to me as some people's over the top patriotism.

  • Huge number of factual errors in this video.

  • @SirFact such as?

  • Canada and USA, bros for life

  • We appreciate you, who appreciate us.

  • WE LOVE YOU TOO CANADA ♡ ♡ ♡

  • We Americans are wonderful, the rest of the world owes us so much.

  • As for Socialists, or Liberals, well, when it comes to that and/or politics, I'm no good. I only know that neighbors can be like family. I live in Detroit, yes, Detroit. And I love being able to go downtown, by the river front, look across the river and know "friends" are over there. We have shared the International Freedom Festival, and our 4th of July Holiday with "our friends, and family" across the Detroit River for well as long as I can remember. For this I am grateful!

  • I really wish the canadians who gloat about how nice canadians are, and then in almost the same breath put down americans would stop being so contradictory.

As a Canadian I feel honoured that we share such a wonderfully peaceful border with our only neighbours. For me the USA is part of what makes Canada so great and I'm really enlightened when I hear about how Canada helps the US (with the oil spill, 9-11) God bless the USA, from Canada.

  • @iBsteveT

Thank you for those kind words, and God bless Canada as well, from the USA.

  • @iBsteveT Are you fucking kidding, they're a bunch of capitalist pigs! Their wrecking this planet so fast it is not even funny. You know nothing about United States of American, look up facts on the 5 Great Lakes. Hey remember when the US dropped those fucking Nukes on Innocent Japanese people. Remember Obama waited 2 and 1/2 months before stepping in to fucking help the BP oil spill, or the oil spill happening at the same time in Alaska but no one knows about that.

  • @iBsteveT what a refreshing comment to read. if only i could give it 100 thumbs up. most americans feel the same way about canadians. i'm just sick of all these youtube bullshitters.

  • @iBsteveT God bless Canada, from the US

  • @iBsteveT I am American and appreciate your patriotism to Canada as well as your loyalty to the US.

I can tell you that the loud mouths down here that put down Canada are not the majority of Americans. Typically they are loud mouth celebrities who want to change the USA into something that it was never intended for.

Most of us just want to get up, go to work, come home, and be left alone.

We also know that keeping close allies is the best way to defeat enemies. Canada must always remain...

  • @iBsteveT a close ally of the USA.

  • @iBsteveT We love you too <3. Canada is amazing. Both countries are the awesome. I'm glad we're neighbors as well.

And any American that bashes Canadians or Canada or the other way around should be put on a boat and sent to the middle of the ocean. We shouldn't tolerate that.

  • @iBsteveT

Also that the British with Canadian millitia beat the Americans in the war of 1812!!!

  • @mwillis1000 Newsflash, War of 1812 was a stalemate.

  • Minus the far-right, most Americans are pretty awesome people.

    Canada loves you, America! <3

  • @ElDeclan Why just the far right? The far left is just as bad. Or is that the Socialism in you speaking?

  • @karozans

    1) Socialism isn't necessarily a bad thing.

    2) Yes, the far-left is bad, but they aren't nearly as out-spoken or as... Fox News-y as the far right in "Uhmerica".

  • @ElDeclan On paper Socialism isn't a bad thing and neither is Communism.

Never before in the history has a Socialist country shown to be as successful as a true Capitalists Society.

You are confusing what we have now to true Capitalism. The US has Corporatism now, not Capitalism.

The far left is every bit as bad as the far right. The far left has already started using the Gaby Giffords shooting and the 6 dead as a means to push their political agenda.

I assume that you are a member...

  • @karozans

    Wow. Assumptions. Assumptions, everywhere.

I never said that socialism was better than what you would call "capitalism".

I never said the far left was good. I said they weren't as out-spoken nor as willing to sink to the level of having a Fox News as the far-right is.

Furthermore, your assumption that I would associate myself with what is not true socialism or liberalism in any way is an affront to my character, and shows me how narrow minded you are.

  • @ElDeclan I made no assumptions. I never said that you said that Socialism was better than Capitalism. I simply made a statement.

The left is just as outspoken as the right. The only difference is that the left doesn't have enough substance for a TV or newspaper to survive.

I live in Tucson about 3 blocks away from where Gabby was gunned down. I saw several signs saying how this was Sarah Palins fault.

MSNBC is failing, CBS and ABC ratings are in the crapper.

    Fox news has more....

  • @karozans

Substance and entertainment value are not one and the same.

  • @dogkelp You are right. That is why Fox's ratings are double what MSNBC, CNN, and ABC put together.

Fox news delivers substance. Everyone else delivers crap.

  • @karozans

None of those four are perfect, but in this case I meant Fox. sorry you got confused.

  • @karozans this isn't a political issue! Sorry to break it to you, but democrats are Americans, too. Many serve in the military or are patriotic. Once again, patriotism is not a red/blue issue. America belongs equally to us all.

  • @danielw1245 The Democrats you are speaking of are moderate Democrats. I am speaking of far left Democrats, Liberals, Progressives, and Socialists.

Far left Democrats, Liberals, Progressives, and Socialists want to change America at it's fundamental levels and they want to shred the Constitution and D of I.

Again I am not speaking about moderate Democrats or Republicans.

Anyone who wants to change America at it's core is not a patriot.

  • @karozans then surely you must consider Obama a "moderate" democrat. John Kerry, too.

  • @danielw1245 No. Both Obama and John Kerry want to change everything about America. Obamacare is just the beginning. John Kerry I am not really concerned with because he is not in power.

  • @karozans then you are stupid and divisive. John Kerry is a war hero, don't bother with silly conspiracy theories. America is made up of all kinds of people. Democrats AND republicans. Don't think that patriotism belongs to one political party, because it doesn't.

  • @danielw1245 Thanks for the insult.

I never said John Kerry wasn't a war hero. I said he wants to fundamentally change the USA into Europe #2. Socialized health care and high taxation.

You are right. Patrioism does not belong to one political party, but it doesn't belong to anyone who wants to change the USA fundamentally.

  • @karozans raising taxes and changing health care wouldn't change the fundamentals of this country. Where exactly in the constitution does it say we can't do that? Exactly.Taking away freedom of speech or freedom of expression would. Neither of which any democrat has proposed. Just because you don't agree with something doesn't make it unpatriotic. And besides, Obama never proposed a complete socialization of healthcare. Nice try, though.

  • @danielw1245 True.

Raising taxes, turn health care into socialized medicine, taking away freedoms, class warfare, high unemployment, social programs, weak military, thousands of laws, stealing from the rich, rewarding the poor and lazy, ignoring the Constitution, etc, etc, etc...

    Is fundamentally changing the country.

You should read and understand the Constitution. The Constitution places limits on government.

Obama and Bush, and all the other presidents are ignoring it.

    Dems are...

  • @danielw1245 indeed trying to ban speech. It is called the "Fairness Doctrine" and they are trying to ban "hate speech" even though "hate speech" is really just lingo for anything that is against Democratic values.

I have never said once in my posts that if you disagree with me then that makes someone unpatriotic. You keep saying that.

I have repeatedly said that if a person wants to change the fundamentals of the USA then they are unpatriotic.

Why can you not get this through your head?

  • @karozans calling Obama a Muslim is blatantly racist. When something like this is said, someone needs to say something. No one has ever said that you can't criticize the president because it is "hate speech." Hate speech is hate speech, pure and simple. In fact it is the republicans who say that being an atheist is unamerican, which is a violation of our freedom of religion.
