Perfect example of Golden Age boom-bap; Metallic snares, sub bass, nicely chopped samples, paying homage in the hook and a dope rap full of equally hook-ready lines.

This is the best version of this track. I remember taping this off the radio, and after 45 second, the tape cut off to the other side and I couldn't hear the full version of this. All the other times, I've heard the Premier version, but this version of "Next Level" is by far the best!

This is the best version by a million miles. Sorry Primo is a legend but on this one occasion he was utdone. I have been searching for this for years!! All you could get was the remix in the past. Had the album (bought it the day it came out)and cracked it one day while trying to clean it. I know you feel my pain.
