  • what if im using my headset?

  • wow thats a great idea, I already had a setup but it involved two splitters and a female to female adapter. I had just watched this video to see some different ideas and this one is much simpler, really it's great my PC is always on if my Xbox is (right next to each other...) so this is perfect

  • The microphone input? You surely have to mean Line In ?

  • lame solution tbh

  • @whysoserioussan thanks for the feedback!

  • JUST USE A GOD DAM 1080p Full HD TV!!!! DaH!!!

  • will this work if the monitor has built in speakers?

  • @silentx88x if the insert jack is correct then yes it will

  • there are much better ways...

  • Stupid song

  • so this will add sound using HDMI-DVI cable if my monitor has speakers built in

  • i got PC monitor would.

    would PC monitor work??

  • Can you connect it into a CD - player ?

  • You can just get a mini-jack male to female adapter and connect the speakers directly to the Xbox 360 instead of using a PC. That's what I do

  • i rather get easy cap

  • What is this song? I can't make out enough of the words to google it.

  • The prodigy - Spitfire.

  • sont connect it to the mic on but to the blue input thing thats what i do

  • Mic input will mess up your audio and lower its quality. Use line-in instead.

  • 18k w00p

  • Thanks for 17k views guys

  • what if u only have the premium, and dont have those xbox 360 av cables???

  • Thanks a bunch!

  • you can use the 3.5mm stereo jack 2xRCA/phono -Left and right audio and connect the male end of it into a 3.5mm female to female coupler and the other end with the speakers jack(3.5mm)

  • theres easier ways to do it then this.

  • cool thanks for commenting, next time a little more constructive?

  • Maybe.

  • dont connect to the mic input. but rather use your line in since its in stereo vs the mic's mono

  • thx!

  • just take the microsoft audoi av and put the speaker jack into it. only bad thing will be you only get sound out of one speaker. ive been doing this for a while

  • pl help...i bought everything and connected it but i hear no sound...whats the problem..how can i fix it?

  • wat band or song is that, because i sounds like the killer instinc soundtrack

  • Prodigy - Spitfire

  • song sounds firmiliar. like fomr a need for speed game or something. If not them im sure it was considered for one

  • What if I have an HMDI to DVI going from my Xbox to my monitor, theres video but no sound. my monitor has integrated speakers.

  • Xbox360 has to many add-ons and cables to hide, not just that, to also get the fact that if it breaks you have to rewire it and wait, if its what you got, then use it, but I wouldn't recommend it for gaming to much to do, then it frys and break then your progress is done, you have to start all over, after sending it to microsoft, I recommend going the better route which is Ps3, Internal power brick, not as many cables, they both equally have great games, so what's the problem?

  • where do you get the microsoft audio AV cable from?

  • comes with xbox as standard

  • I'm trying to get full 5.1 sound for my 360 using my 5.1 speakerset of my pc.

I connect the 360 with HDMI to my screen, but how do I get full 5.1 sound? Do I need to use optical for that or something?

  • Lol got spam?

  • If you connect the 360's Audio Out to your Microphone In there's a goot chance to damage your sound card and/or your Xbox audio chip. If you want to use such setup you should connect your Audio Out to the computer's Line-In port(usually blue on onboard sound cards, but do note that there's usually no Line-In on a laptop). If you plug the cable to the Line-In you'll usually hear the sound through all your speakers but it depends on your software settings

  • yes there is this problem but to be honest 3 of my friend's have been doing this since the release of the ps2 so it really cant do that much damage , i respect you taking a concern its just my view feel free to comment back , once again thanks

  • if i put my surround sound speakers into the green port and my 360 through the mic will i get sound coming through my surround sound speakers?

  • Yes it will however i do recommend you get a sound card instead of the integrated one

  • nice thanks

  • will it work if i just buy a monitor and forget about the desktop, or do i need the desktop for some plug ins? Can i get a monitor and play without sound?

  • yer you can play with just a monitor and no sound if you wanted to , but i made another video which is what this video is a response to how to get the sound but if you want to just buy a monitor and have no sound that's fine

  • no sound!?

    hmmmmm...

  • without sound!?

at least buy monitor that have speakers inside.

    better than nothing!

  • song?

  • hey the song is "Prodigy - Spitfire"

  • uh... 2 things

1 how do u get video if u do it this way...n if u dont ... y would u want ur xbox to jst play audio

and 2 DOES ANY1 KNOW WHAT THE NAME OF THAT ADAPTER IS!!! or how to find 1

  • Hey , if you look at the video description you will see in big letters "FOR VIDEO" and as you read this i'm trying to find the name of the audio adapter. thanks for commenting.

  • Can this work with 2.0 speakers? I don't have a subwoofer.

  • yes they can

  • i dont get why people dont use optical it ownes

  • expensive

  • get a job?

  • me?

  • any one who cant afford it is third world

  • im not sure if thats an insult to me or somebody else?

  • No need for optics and im to lazy and dont need money :D

  • nope isnt expensive costs 11 pounds

  • fiber optics? but i got on for my ps3 same thing sorta takes the sound things from the av turns it into a jack to go in my mic thing on my mac cost $8 Canadian and its way smaller.

  • beginning of song scared the shit out of me lol

  • That's not true! You can buy a 3.5 female to female converter and have the speakers on without needing the PC on.

  • wow, you're an idiot, thnx for showing me the picture that really helps, maybe a fucking name would be helpful too of the fucking product.

  • you know what man screw you i don't see you making helpful videos

  • Nice song choice :D Spitfire mmm

  • how would u get the video though????????

  • read video description lol

  • Not to advertise (though I technically am) but my vid shows how to get sound without having to have the computer on - you just need everything in your current setup plus a converter for about 2 pounds on ebay. Give it a go!

  • Oh shite, I just commented on the same video explaining the same thing I said before... remove the comment please :/

  • What if you dont have a pc or laptop?

  • than play on a TV...

  • Nevermind, I got it all sorted out, I don't just have a TV lying around for sound.

  • i do believe there an option for the sound with out turning on the your pc tower, and ive done that with my z-5300 and z-5500 speakers.

  • How is this possible as the adapter is in the microphone jack

  • its easy man, just buy those logitech 5.1 adaptor for z5300 popin in the audio cable or use a optical cable for z5500

  • cool thanks , could you send me links of those in a private message to me thanks

  • oh about the microphone jack,my z5300 has a sort of jack cable included so u can plug it in ,i dunno what it called just included with my speakers.

  • Hi there , i was wondering if you would know where to get or buy the audio adaptor thingy for the 3.5mm plug . in Australia , cheers

  • i am not sure sorry my dad bought it for me
