Nice video. System Sweeper reminds me of System Defender. Plus right at 20:19 or 20:20 when Mrizos said "I am going to pretty much end this video." That quote reminded me of Mad TV Trapped in the Cupboard.
How effective would u say AVG 2011 is? I have the full paid version but lately i've been getting adware on my Facebook page. It's the only page where I'm getting it and I'm not sure if AVG has adware protection. Is it an adware? Or is Facebook really giving people ads now
@Chessmapling anyone who is serious about malware protection would tell you that AVG isn't very good, just check it out on av comparitives and other sites, also, yes facebook has ads, avg can't prevent that
@Microwavethempizzas oh yeah i know facebook has ads but ever since like 2 days ago there has been a drastic increase in ads on my facebook page where it's now in the middle of my news feeds. i'm absolutely sure it's adware but i can't get rid of it
i have made the Microsoft System Sweeper and burned it to a CD it boots fine shows the windows logo then displays an error message with the error code 0x80070070 tried using Google but no luck
@mrizos Actually it is much better at protection Matt, KIS was always a great suite, but with this version they improved a lot in detection and prevention. You can watch my test video IF you have the time just so you can see.
@mrizos I tried to make a Kaspersky bootable antivirus but i couldn't get the USB to work. i followed their site to the letter but i just couldn't get it to work. have you had any trouble with that Matt?
@danny09411 I would recommend Kaspersky, because it has better sigs than Norton and MSE and the only thing you get in the rescue disk are sigs and heuristics, but out of those two I would definetely choose Norton.
@mrizos can i use this for a virus that keeps coming back? Like i can log in and log out without any problems, i use microsoft security essentials and it keeps detecting TojanDownloader:Win32/tracur.Y

@mrizos Yeah for downloading system sweeper. I know it's not hard to find, but theres no reason why hundreds/thousands of people should type it in, when 1 person can type it once and everyone else just clicks a link. You can still add it by editing the video description, I do it all the time. Sorry you had a tough day, I love your videos, I recommend them to everyone I know that has a computer.

Matt, how does MSS (microsoft systsem sweeper) compare to KCD (Kaspersky Rescue Disk)?
onecreativecriminal 7 months ago
@mrizos Does this come in an iso format or does Microsoft not let you have an iso of this?
Zestypanda 7 months ago
If you want to boot via USB, don't use any drive that's U3 enabled.
TheChromebuster 7 months ago
You mucked that video up so bad, I wouldn't show it to anyone wanting to use System Sweeper.

When I put it on the USB stick, does it have to be on a clean stick or can it be on a stick with a multitude of files on it?
SinDaCode 7 months ago
@SinDaCode I'm pretty sure if you run the USB stick with other files in it, it'll also run that.
