Ha ha, I always loved when this guy played piano and broke it. (More action movies these days need pianos that blow up.) There was some other one where he was playing fast and the keys started flying off.
BTW, I remember seeing the scene where Chris was breaking the piano on the preview at the end of the "123 Count with Me" video, which was presenting the video "Sing Yourself Siller (At the Movies)".
Chris certainly did a great job of playing the piano and singing the song. However, when the song and scenes were near the end, he accidentally broke the piano due to the fact in which he was playing a little bit roughly, so therefore one of the men brought in a new piano for him to play.
@iheartryanstyles yeah.... and i think (it's been like 8 years since i've watched this episode) he wanted to go to cincinnati or however you spell it.
the piano breaking? well however it was rather appropriate since he's doing an homage to Jerry Lee Lewis. I used to have this on the Elmo's sing-a-long guessing game tape I still have it in the house somewhere
My aunt used to have that tape--she would run it for my little cousins every time we would sleep over at my Grandma's house. I always thought it was hilarious when he played the piano to the point of it breaking--like all the keys would be falling off but he could still play it . . . lol
I used to be afraid of Chrissy dismantling that piano. But after I got used to the song more, I didn't care. And it was funny that Chrissy asked Nat to bring in the next piano and tell the fur balls to take "8".
classic!! =D

It's funny how Chris was still able to play when the Piano lost over half of its keys.

She would also actually run the "Best of Elmo" tape and occasionally others. Brings back too many memories . . .

You don't have to blame it. I love this song but I did get scared from the ending when The Piano cut in half.

@gimpmasterw That's all right, and I'm not scared, it's making me angry and makes wanna say: Exactly who they think they are?!

I love the part when Chrissy said "Hey, Matt! Send in the next piano, Will ya?"
BuddyBoy600 3 years ago
Yeah, me too! And it's a good thing they had an extra piano available in case the original broke as it did.
