Thank you for uploading these videos! I have found many sites with the Arabic transliterations, but I still wasn't sure if I was pronouncing things correctly. This is helping a lot!
JazzakAllah Khair for posting these videos, you taught me how to pray. I never was able to pray in arabic using other videos. This videos also aid in memorizing the prayers as well. My daughters are learning to pray from them as well.
thanks so much to the person who posted this and asalaamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. I just converted on August 6th and the second Tashhahud was the only part of the prayer i did not have memorized and these videos have been a great help. shukran
when do we have to say this and why, i want to know because im trying to change my life, though im a muslim but i did not learned these things when i was young...........please help mw, may Allah be us all.
As-Salamu Alaykum. This is recited in the final rakat while kneeling, after the Tashahud and shahada which are explained in videos 4 & 5. However, these videos are not required for you to start praying. Just learn Fatihah(video 1-2) and that will get you going. The rest can be added with time. Start your prayer with Allahu Akhbar and end with As-Salamu Alaykum. For the remainder you can just go through the motions until you learn.
Not reciting this does NOT invalidate salat. You can sit silently in this position the time it would take to recite it. The same goes for the rukoo(bowing) and sujood(prostratng) stages.
Thanks for this. Masha'allah.

if you don't recite that part, dooes it mean your prayer is invalid?
