  • Wow-- thats inspirational. So sweet :3 Dawwwww!

  • I wonder how shaycarl will react if sontard ever turns out gay... hmmm

  • It took a while but eventually I dropped religion completely for the same reasons. But you can never drop spirituality. The felt presence of immediate experience with the divine is a confirmation that I was always intended to be right where I am as the person I am. Like Jodi Foster at the end of Contact... I have no way to prove it is real to anyone else. I have no need to, all that matters, is that it is real and perceivable to me. True Faith can neither be proved or APPROVED, it just IS ;) ;)

  • @nisgore that's why it's so flawful. You become blinded and slaved by faith, since you cannot understand or question what you have faith in (that is the very definition of faith). "God" doesn't show aversion to slaving or to sexism in the bible. By the contrary, he reinforces it. If that can change because of current society behavior (along with so many things that changed in the bible), so can homosexuality, which is, by far, not as bad as having slaves or silencing women.

  • @mohottie30 you can do it, and if you every need support just remember that there are many people who love you and if you ever need to talk in here to get you through

  • @sarahpumpkinhead calm your tits, there will always be straight people to make babies, just as there have always been gays, more people are gay than you think, and gays are slowly comming Out more and more because our society has finally realized that being gay isn't a bad thing, and it's natural

  • Are woman just not attractive to guys anymore?? Like is that what this is all coming down to? Seems more and more people are becoming what is called "gay"...soon woman will be useless and all of our babies will be grown in labs. :(

  • I don't know how I can ever tell my family. I'm from a small town in Utah and it's even tougher in the Wards there than in the Salt Lake Valley. I've thought about suicide too.

  • I am gay and christian....(brought up Baptist) In my most recent experience...the Mormon Church has it.....they, as I see in recent interviews, accept ME. That means...they accecpt me...gay...straight....what ever....ME. As long as I believe in "Heaenly Father"....I know I'm ok. I want Him to send me a partner in lie to study and grow.

  • Hell isn´t a place. Hell is shutting God out of your life by hate, resentment, self hate and cruelty. A lot of so-called Christians shut God out by hate! Thank God, there are some people who are full of love in each church. They are the saving remnant! All this taking bits out of context out of the complete message of the New Testament of Jesus is just mindless fear and foolish bigotry!

  • Reminds me of Latter Days

  • I'm Mormon and something that I am confused about is at 4:27 when he says that they overlook their beliefs for their love. Didn't the parents say at 2:12 that loving their son even though he is gay is PART of their beliefs?

I don't mean to generalize the gay community, but I feel that even though I may have opposing viewpoints about the gay lifestyle and gay marriage, gay people say that I hate gay people. I don't hate gay people in general. I only pass judgement on people once I have met them.

  • You both are worthless! Beautiful? All these comments, ohh such beautiful story, 100% B.S.!!! Sh$t!!

You give religion a bad name!

    Idiot parents!

  • this story is so AMAZING! It is a good thing that some parents are as open-minded as Cody's parents. This is truly AMAZING!

  • This guy was so lucky.. I know a family who was trying to force one of their sons to go on a mission but he refused because he wanted to continue his college studies. They ended up disowning him all because of this :\

  • Family come first, not religion.

  • Beautiful story. Thank you for sharing this.

  • EVRYONE in the world is different and evryone has the right 2 be whoevr they want...the haters out there are just feeding into what the media and bible tells u 2..u have no F**Kin idea wht its lik 2 be hated so much for somthng that wasnt a choice. worry about urslf..dont woory about others to much becuz im not u are ur not mi..we r all different

  • All OF YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP! I don't agree with most of you, I think Homosexuality is perfectly fine. But most of you are just claiming that you know so much, trying to one up each others points with ridiculous claims. Shut the fuck up, most of you are full of shit, I doubt that one person was molested, I doubt half of you have actually read the bible, book of mormon, Koran, or the Tora. I am non religious and I was raised Christian and Jewish, and being homosexual is fine.

  • I was quite moved by the account I found here, in this moving and quite lovely video. I think the attitude of Scott's family is more Christian than of those who preach the love of God but cannot let others be; that is, to grow in love, in religion, in harmony with oneself and others. This video is a lesson of love and understanding. Great job!

  • Was I the only one expecting a comedy video about a dude coming out MORMON, and not gay? Damn, so disappointed.

  • @einXtein I was thinking the same thing

  • I am Mormon and there are idiots all over but you should be patient and understanding show compassion. I don't want others to be forced to do things and I am glad I don't have to judge.

  • this is such a joke. Mormons don't believe in Hell -- if he were really raised as a Mormon, he would definitely know that the church teaches that even homosexuals can go to Heaven. He wouldn't be afraid of going to Hell because the church doesn't teach that.

  • @tierneydale Yeah? You should tell that to your fellow mormons who have relished in the pleasure that they are planning to experience watching Gays burn in hell. Sure are a bunch of nice folk you MORmONs.

  • @tierneydale this is only a "new" teaching... this is why religion is so warped. Back when i was attending church it was a sin and it was taught that you would go to hell.

  • wow this is how it SHOULD be. it wasnt this way for me though and my parents werent Christians.

  • Mormons don't teach about "Going to Hell". Makes me question if he is even really a Mormon.

  • @mooshutwentytwo You are hilarious! I've had MANY conversations with Mormons who are so ignorant in their own beliefs that they don't know what "Outer Darkness" even is, and many many many many mormons think that if they sin, they will goto hell. I tell them 'but Mormons don't believe in hell", and usually they say "Yes huh! We're Christian!" - so you believe in hell when it's convenient, and you don't believe in hell when it's convenient... wonderful.

  • @windigo77 I don't understand what's so hilarious? I ask a valid question. Somebody who's "served a mission" should clearly understand the plan of salvation. And because you talked to many many many many mormons? That makes you the authority of the subject? The church doesn't teach your "going to hell" if you sin.

  • @mooshutwentytwo Yes I know it doesn't, but if you really want me to, I could dig up several conversations I've had with Mormons where they have denied that they don't believe in hell. I know that Mormon's don't believe in hell, but that doesn't stop them from saying that all homosexuals are going to go there.

  • @windigo77 Dude you are missing my point. I am calling out the maker of the video as possibly a fraud. Who as a missionary from the LDS church says your "going to hell"?? That's it. Get on your rant pony and ride it another time. My point is clear and simple.

  • @mr.norloko 4 or whatever your pathetic name is, you cant be following the (RELIGION) of christ and degrading "SINNERS" when you are suppose to be walking in love. You think your any better than him when your sinning right now. Your try to embarass him because of his lifestyle. WELL! your lifestyle sucks! A sin is a sin no matter who its in. If you wanna go preach the gospel, do it the right way! instead of downing other people publicly to secure your salvation in religion.

  • @RiniCruz Oh good, so we agree that homosexuality is a sin! I agree we're suppose to be walking in love but that doesn't mean we accept, condone, support, or tolerate sinful behavior. I don't hate anyone but I do hate the sins they commit. By the way, he's embarrassing himself because of his lifestyle.

  • @norloko4 Your an embarrassment to the entire human species, and you think he's embarrassing HIMSELF? Take a look in the mirror pal!

  • @windigo77 Oh windiho, your passion for the search for truth is so inspirational. Thank you, sir. I do enjoy looking in the mirror, confident that I can still hold in my stool, because my butthole hasnt been pounded to the point Ive lost my pucker reflex. I really do enjoy that. I also enjoy knowing that my belief doesnt rely on the shifting doctrine of the world which by the way is supreme inconsistancy, which you seem to rant with loathing over. Im sorry for your confusion, truly I am.

  • @norloko4 *Sigh* You mormons are so perverted, so self-loathing.

  • @RiniCruz Easy retard, you are an angry person inside! Golly! You false gay love does not coquer all. There must be justice for sin if there is not repentance. These arnt my rules whiner. Homosewage pounding is a sin and must be repented of and forsaken, like any other sin must. I love how "you" people will be ruined praise and false tolerance than saved by criticism. And as far as my belief in Chirst goes, it has done more for me in life than my belief in homosex has. Mr. cruz.

  • @norloko4 Man, I should read this comment at church tomorrow to show the kind of hatred that you have towards your fellow man. Maybe that might show the world what their religion is breeding.

  • @windigo77 Man, you should! If you can stop whining and blaming religion for your problems long enough, that would be great. Why dont you become an advocate for abused children, or womens rights in a third world country? What a worthy cause that would be, instead of cying over butt sex. What a damn joke.

  • The dad is f'ing hot.

  • The LDS church does not encourage or advocate suicide in anyway shape or form as this obvious story is implying.

  • @sodavefarts LOL, are you serious? ONE IN THREE (you got that?) ONE IN THREE ambulance calls my MORMON father went on in our MORMON community was an attempted suicide. Nobody is implying that your church ENDORSES suicide, just that it DRIVES PEOPLE TO SUICIDE. My mother is an example of that. She NEEDED a divorce, but because of her "Temple Marriage" and "Eternal Family", felt so torn up that she chose to kill herself. Thanks you MORMONS for RUINING my family.

  • @windigo77 It wasn't the church that took your mother's life. It was a choice she made.

  • @Sylandralar My mother didn't die. She only attempted suicide. It was a choice that she made, but it would be a lie for you to say that the church had no effect on her by pressuring her beyond her means to avoid getting a divorce, despite her situation. Kapesh?

  • You're so inspirational. God put you on this earth to help others and give them the strength and courage to do what you did. Your showing me that's it's possible to hold on to your faith and be true to yourself. You don't need to give up one for the other. Thank you so much for sharing your story.

  • @TheCamillelizabeth you're so CLUELESS!!

  • GROSS! Having gay sex is a sin. It doesnt matter if it offends you to hear it or not. Pre-marriage sex is a sin. Sorry, you need to repent and forsake sin, not embrace it because you refuse to control yourselves. I KNOW the lord does not condone men having sex in each others sewage pipes, not now , not ever. Yes a sewage pipe. Poop comes out of it. Its not meant for procreation or pleasure. Repent.

  • @norloko4 Actually, there's no evidence for "god" ergo you don't know the lord does anything. According to the bible, slavery is acceptional. And suddenly, having sex in what way you wish with whom you mutually wish doesn't seem so bad. Why gay people even put up with religion makes no sense to me, or anyone for that matter. Maybe if your perverted mind would focus more on the social aspect of gays instead of purely sexual, your opinion would change too. Oh, wait, I forgot, you're religious.

  • Why so many people put up with gay people makes no sense to me! How society has come to justify this carnal, devilish sin makes me sad and disgusted. The bible clearly says that homosexuality is an abomination to god. If you argue against this, than you oppose god. If you oppose god, than you are siding with satan. You need to do some major repenting.

  • @norloko4 Oh, so you are saying that 10% of the population should be ... killed? Is that how you want to handle a naturally occurring phenomenon of homosexuality? God, you religious people are sick.

  • @windigo77 Now you're putting words into my mouth. Where did you get that I want 10 percent of the population killed? I don't want anyone killed. I want homosexuals to repent and find true happiness. I don't say these things out of hate. I say them in hopes people will change for the better.

  • @norloko4 Oh, you called homosexuals "poop packers", because you want them to change for the better. Your such an ass hole. fuck you.

  • @windigo77 You're being hypocritical. You say that I'm a hateful bigot, but look at yourself, you hate people who are religious. By the way, in order for us to be forgiven we first have to repent. Repentance in accountability. I agree that name calling isn't right, so maybe you should work on that.

  • @norloko4 I am not being hypocritical, because one of the exceptions to intolerance is intolerance OF intolerance. I am bigoted towards bigoted people, I am PROUD to be intolerant of intolerance. Are you intolerant of intolerance of intolerance of intolerance? Sorry! Reality doesn't work like that champ. I can be intolerant of intolerance without it being a problem.

  • @norloko4 Suppose your religion WAS a tolerant religion, then I would tolerate it, but because it is NOT a tolerant religion. I don't. Suppose you kept your beliefs to yourself, and didn't seek out to destroy other people's lives who disagree with you, as my life was destroyed when I was a 14 year old Mormon boy who decided to leave the church, and many homosexuals lives are destroyed, then I'd tolerate it, but I DO NOT TOLERATE INTOLERANCE (1 level deep)

  • @norloko4 You want homosexuals to repent and find true happiness... OR what? Be killed? Burn in hell? I mean seriously. It's not like homosexuals are going to disappear in a poof of smoke, just because YOU think it's immoral. It's a naturally occurring phenomenon that has been observed in almost ALL species. You think your beliefs are so arrogantly true that they violate the laws of nature?!

  • @norloko4 yes that is right you fu*king need to let us find happiness and just because we dont get hard dicks from reading them bibles doesnt mean you have to be a bigot about it, our happiness is different from your happiness and your happiness is different from everyone elses happiness, changing it is changing gods will coz baby we were born this way, there aint no need to change us. so stuff a bible up your ass and shut the fuck up :)

  • @JakeDude500 Why am I the perverted one? Your the one who's packing poop not me. Who cares what the social aspects are when your performing such a devilish sin!

  • @norloko4 No I'm not gay. I'm heterosexual, and I am an agnostic. You are perverting the human race with your ignorance and intolerance. Put down the fiction books and form your own opinions instead of taking the word and belief of your religion.

  • @JakeDude500 God gave us all the free agency to choose what we want to believe. I made a choice to believe this. No one forced me. You have made a choice to support homosexuality. So, you're just as much of a follower as I am. You're a very lost soul who cannot be happy. I pity you.

  • @norloko4 That's a pretty big claim. I can't be happy and I'm lost? I don't believe anything. I look at logic and make conclusions based upon what seems to be the most truthful in any given situation. Don't assume that just because I don't find every over-purchased book to be truthful I am any less happy. And let me just ask you this: Yes, you chose your religion, but is there any reason for doing so other than that you feel lost without it? It's internal conflict my friend, and I pity YOU.

  • @JakeDude500 Well, if you say you look at logic and make conclusions based upon what seems the most truthful, maybe you should try reading the bible and book of mormon in order to come up with a conclusion. One piece of advice I have is to not just follow your logic when reading them but your heart as well. What do you have to lose? You say I have internal conflict. Let me just tell you, my beliefs, more than anything, have given me clarity.

  • @norloko4 Oh, so your saying you should SUSPEND logic while your reading the book of Mormon. Are you aware of the fact that the book of Mormon claims that horses existed in North America all over the place while it's a well known fact that ALL HORSES in North America came from Europeans? they weren't here until Columbus brought them. Joseph Smith was a fool to make such a foolish mistake. Apologists say, well uh.. duh, murby it was a Tapir, and not a horse!.. Only an idiot would be Mormon.

  • @JakeDude500 Oh, my sweet sewage prince. You will do anything to justify your behavior wont you? You know in your heart its wrong dont you? Your words ooze with guilt, and you blame religion for your inability to control yourself and live as life has created you. Its so easy to dismiss God and do away with morality and its law. You can then justify any and all behavior you wish. How convenient for you sir. You can only lie to yourself for so long, you will never be truly happy.

  • @norloko4 I have morality "sir". I don't need some half-wit religious follower telling me about what I know. My words ooze with guilt? Haha, more like your words ooze with fucking creepy-ness dude. I half total control over my life. You religious are all the fucking same. U say u know all about those who actually aren't ignorant. There is no law to morality. Morals should be defined by emotion, but you define them by your religion. I am happy, but not when i have to deal with pricks like you.

  • @JakeDude500 You say morals should be defined by emotion. You're basically say any sin goes. People who murder experience an angry emotion. So are you saying it's okay to murder. You're sick and evil!!

  • @norloko4 Human nature allows for situation and opinion to both play roles in morality. From my perspective, no it is not ok to murder. I have neither reason nor situation to. I am saying morals are person specific. I am not sick and evil. You're just too immature to understand morals without attaching them to your religion. If you want to go into the extreme complexities of emotion and reason when feeling these emotions, I'd be happy to oblige.

  • @JakeDude500 You say you don't think murder is okay, so since your saying everything is subjective what if someone felt murder is okay. I guess you think it's okay for that person to murder because that's what he wants to do. Why should anyone even go to jail then if everthing is based on opinion. You're basically saying we should have no laws. You're so afraid to take a stand for something aren't you? It's easy to be apathetic isn't it? You're a coward and you're argument is absurd!

  • @norloko4 You're pretty persistent aren't ya? I'm saying the battle of morality cannot be won. No, I don't think murder is ok. Yes, I do think that a person who kills should be subject to consequence. But I am me. My morals are different them some people. IS that ok? Absolutely. I think we should have laws and that government exists to keep the peace. However, there are some things in government i don't agree with. This is partially due to differing moral value. I'm no coward; just realistic.

  • @JakeDude500 You contradict yourself. You say murder isn't okay but then you go back on what you say by saying it's all a matter of opinion. Not everything in life is relative. There's is right and wrong no matter where you are or what century you are in. It sounds like you've been indoctrinated way to much in psychology class just like know-it-all windigo77.

  • @norloko4 I have an opinion on murder. But that doesn't mean my opinion stands for everyone's in that case or in any. That's all I'm trying to say. Right and wrong is a concept based on speculation and point of view. I'm going to assume we both have moral value that tells us not to kill because it's what we grew up with and stand by. But, some don't grow up in such a civilized era or place as this. Most religion doesn't allow for individualization in moral value, and I have a problem with that.

  • @norloko4 No, YOUR argument is absurd, there is no such thing as sin. It's all based on opinion. Murder is wrong, because all of us agree that we don't want to be murdered, and because of that we all promise not to murder each other! It's not magic, or divine, it's SOCIETY. There is no such thing as sin. For instance, I think circumcision is a sin, you probably don't, do you? Well, that obviously means that there is no universal moral law, and no such thing as sin.

  • @norloko4 Sin does not exist. It's just your subjective opinion. It matters not what you think, or your bible things, or your mother thinks. Sin does not exist. There is only crime and punishment.

  • I hope that your relationship continues and that God protects it. Christian and Muslim gays can be the best men that a gay man will meet. They have morals. Irreligious gays tend to treat other gays in a negative manner.

  • All of Joseph Smiths three "witness's" later denounced the Mormon Church, and fell away. Even Emma Smith herself left the Mormon Religion. WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU???

  • @amyleoness While several of the witnesses fell away from the Mormon Church. These witnesses never redacted their testimonies to what they saw with the gold plates. There is no way anybody could BS their way through a historical relic in the time that Joseph Smith lived. Read the book of Mormon.

  • @mooshutwentytwo I have read the book of Moron. I was raised Mormon. That book contradicts itself constantly. Do you reeeeeeeeally want me to list all of the contradictions in it? This could get really scary for you.

  • @mooshutwentytwo Redacted? Surely you mean retracted... ? Educated much?

  • I was born into a Mormom family. My family is active but I have not been active for about 3 years. I'm 20 male.

I know that in order for us to return to Heaven, we need to be married in the temple. But what are Cody's options now? The chuch does not allow same-sex marraiges. Will Cody go to hell? Also, can anyone speculate on what the congregation's reaction might be after finding out that their bishop's son is gay? Would they still have faith that he is a man of God and still embrace him?

  • Cody Derrick

It's not your fault being gay Mormon.

Their has to be some body else behind it and it's not your fault being gay or A Homo Sexual.

  • My issue has always been with the phrase, "it's who I really am". It makes it sound as though there is no hope for change OR abstinence from sinful behavior. Just because you find yourself attracted to the same gender DOESN'T mean you are obligated to act on those feelings. Yeah, it would be very tough to be in that situation, I can only imagine.. but we say the same thing about pedophiles for example, 'they need help", well, I believe "gays" as they call themselves, need help.

  • @tracylane45 Why would a person want to change what their very core being/ identity is? That a paramount to asking you to change your straight ways and forgo sex for the rest of your life. In addition, I would ask you to go to therapy to change your straightness. No wonder these guys have issues.

  • @Cerulean0987 Well, not exactly. "Straightness" isn't a disorder, homosexuality is.

  • @mrejp1983

    you need to shut up

  • @980engelben Why? Because common sense dictates that homosexuality is a mental disorder and the only reason it is not in the DSM as one is because of homos who desperately want to be considered normal and want to completely disregard all science and logic so they put massive amounts of political pressure on the APA to do their bidding? Is that why I should shut up?

  • @tracylane45 The reason we say that pedophiles need help is that they cause harm, i.e. the minor victim is harmed by being pressured into a sexual relationship for which they are not emotionally/psychologically developed enough to handle. By contrast, two adults of the same sex in a mutually consenting and loving relationship does neither any harm. The reason that you need help is that you also cause harm to others by suggesting that their self-identity is wrong or immoral or abnormal.

  • @biggsterboy I guess that's where our opinions differ. I don't believe that the harm to children is the ONLY reason that pedophilia is wrong. It is also wrong for a man/woman to entertain those thoughts about children. Even if they never touch a child in their life, there's still something wrong in their brain that is causing them to feel that twisted attraction to children. And the attraction feels totally natural to a pedophile just as it does for a person to be attracted to the same sex.

  • @tracylane45 Are you saying here that you think thought-crime should be legislated or something? You obviously know LITTLE about the male mind. Men are PROGRAMMED by their genetics to be attracted to the most fit females in a species. Being attracted to young girls is part of being a man. Men should recognize that despite their attraction, they must not touch young girls BECAUSE of the psychological harm that occurs. ALL MEN are attracted to young girls, there's nothing wrong with their brain.

  • @windigo77 Okay, so when you say "young girls" , are we talkin teenage girls, or are you seriously claiming that ALL men are attracted to 6 yr girls?? "The most fit females"? (Ugh..) Does that mean that all gay men are attracted to young boys?? Come on... really? Pedophiles who act out their fantasies are doing it BECAUSE they've entertained the idea so much in their minds that they can't seem to control themselves any longer and they've convinced themselves that it's good for the child.

  • @tracylane45 I was referring to teenage girls at the time, but for hardcore pedophiles, it's probably the same mechanism to an extreme, probably due to repression. I was molested when I was 9, by a 45 year old man, and have thought a lot about this, and I can tell you for sure that the reason he did it was because he was a deeply repressed, and went after children because I was easy to manipulate at that age. There is no doubt it wouldn't have happened if he had been allowed to be himself.

  • @tracylane45 I think all men are attracted to the 'fittest females', who are often times younger, and I think that sexual repression (religion, or otherwise), causes the entire sexual system to migrate towards extremism. Extreme repression is much more likely to flip to extreme obsession than would balanced moderation. That's probably why it occurs so often to highly repressed priests, and religious leaders. The man who molested me was very religious. Repression and extremism is the problem.

  • @tracylane45 You can see the effects of repression in other things as well. Somebody who represses their homosexuality are often very homophobic at first, but will then come out of the closet and fly off into the other extreme, becoming flamboyant. I've seen this many times, first hand. It's almost like clock work. I used to be a DEEPLY religious person until suddenly things fell apart, and I flew off to the other extreme becoming a Gung-Hoe Atheist, mostly due to the feelings of betrayal.

  • @tracylane45 I'll tell you what though, I'm talking with my real first-hand experience about pedophilia, and the notion that the guy who molested me had 'entertained the idea' too much doesn't make ANY sense. I'll tell you what.

  • @windigo77 I believe that if a "bad" thought enters our mind, we shouldn't entertain that thought - think about it, obsess about it,... we need to learn to control our thoughts, be the master of ourselves, exercise self-control. Of course you can't legislate "thought crime" - what a silly statement. But if one does not learn to control his/her thoughts, then as we all know, thoughts can lead to actions. Period. Don't tell me you disagree on this one...

  • @tracylane45 Think about it. It makes perfect sense. Homophobia is always repressed homosexuality (they fear it in themselves, and lashing out against what they fear in themselves helps them cope - reflective perspective). This applies to any form of repression. Repressing anger leads to angry outbursts. Repressing sexuality leads to bouts of extreme promiscuity. Repressing hunger leads to bouts of binging. Moderation in all things INCLUDING sexuality.

  • @tracylane45 Drugs should be legalized for this reason. It's been observed in countries who have legalized drugs that their use decreases as a result. It becomes common-place, and loses it's taboo over people over time. Just like teenagers who are never allowed to drink alcohol go off to college and binge drink themselves into a coma, where teenagers where alcohol is common-place, alcohol has little or no appeal. Extremism is the ultimate problem with modern society. Terrorism is extremism too.

  • @tracylane45 Study some freaking psychology you stupid ignorant bigot.

  • @tracylane45 If I have a belief system that eating meat (animals) is morally wrong (a "sin"), do you think I have the right to impose that belief system upon others in my country? If you believe that homosexual behavior is sinful, should all homosexuals practice abstinence on account of your belief? Should we stone children to death for dating outside their faith because a Muslim family believes this is dishonorable? Which belief system is the "correct" belief system?

  • @biggsterboy You do have a point. I don't expect homosexuals to live as I feel they should. But I won't stand by and let them try and change the definition of marriage, or try to adopt children, when I believe it's emotionally harmful to the kids. Of course I have every right to use whatever legal means I have at my disposal to prevent that from happening. Once it becomes legal, there's not much I can do, and you all can rejoice.

  • @tracylane45 So essentially, you are saying: I know I'm wrong, but I'm going to be bitter about it and do whatever I can to stop you.

  • @tracylane45 So apparently you will stand by and let homosexuals try and change the definition of marriage. Cool.

  • @willbond I think the definition of marriage has been changed several times.

  • @willbond

you know what fuck that kind of thought. "Stand by and let homosexuals change marriage", go fuck yourself. You think you are so above other people, I hate mormons and I hate people like you.

  • @980engelben I was commenting on tracy's wishy-washy statement. By your statement I can tell you aren't too bright either. Congratulations, dipwad.

  • @willbond

Your insult makes you sound very mature and intelligent. I personally don't believe in religion for reasons like this. Mormons are some of the worst people I have dealt with religiously, they are extremely pushy, they don't give any thought about any other type of religious thought, and it is impossible to have an intelligent conversation about philosophy with them. Also there is absolutely nothing wrong with being homosexual, and every person deserves to be happy. Dipwad. (dickwad)

  • @980engelben Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. The voice of warning is to all people... We are commanded to love all people and also to fear God. I know that people behave the way they do because our Heavenly Father never revealed himself to them. You hate members of the Lords church... What a foolish thing to say... you are loved so much be not a slave to your own ignorance... Seek knowledge Prov2,3

  • @knowledge999999999 Why would you believe in a god who wants to be feared? Why would god create us and require us to fear him? Why would god create us and then punish us for being exactly as we were created? Why are you so ignorant and superstitious? Why would you believe in a god that is cruel and jealous and vicious and genocidal? Why would god create all men and then play favorites? Does god play silly cruel games then? THINK. USE COMMON SENSE. (You're welcome) : D

  • @willbond Well yes he does. in the bible think of Job, He was a faithful servant to god and and what did he do? he took away his servants children and inflicted him with disease in a bet to prove to the devil that he wouldn't curse his name. And there is also the story of the faithful servant that was told to sacrifice his son, only to be told last minute, ooh don't do that i know now that you will obey me no matter what. Games are all over the bible.

  • @knowledge999999999 I dont see a point in seeking knowledge from a man i should fear.

  • @tracylane45 Wow, what an ignorant person you must be. Homosexuals do not chose to be gay, as evidenced by both their DNA, and the fact that mothers can detect homosexuality BEFORE puberty. There is no such thing as 'sinful' behavior, only stupid people like you. Please, do us all a favor and disconnect yourself from the internet. Your bringing down the collective intelligence of society.

  • @windigo77 So are you saying murder, rape, robbery, etc. aren't sins, because you say there's no such thing as sinful behavior? If we all thought like you, there would be no consequences for any wrong behavior. You're the ignorant one!

  • @norloko4 No, murder, rape, robbery are CRIMES. There is no such thing as a 'sin'. You're the ignorant one!

  • @windigo77 In the middle east if a man rapes or murders his wife he isn't committing a crime. So if it isn't a crime, are you saying there should be no punishment?

  • @norloko4 It's not a matter of what I think! Is sin something that is subjective to your opinion? Even if I think he SHOULD be punished, he's not going to be. So, according to you, you think sin is dependent on my opinion?

  • @norloko4 I think it's a SIN to mutilate the genitals of your children (circumcision). I think it should be punishable by prison time... Does that mean my parents are going to be punished for it? No. So what does my opinion matter? There is no such thing as Sin.

  • @norloko4 According to the bible, it's a SIN for you to work on sunday, punishable by death. So tell me, sincerely, why don't you head down to your local wal-mart and throw stones at the employees as the bible says! Jesus only said there was no need to sacrifice animals, he said that if any of you break the least of the laws (of the old testament), you will be lesser in heaven..... so... god commanded you to stone them. Why don't you? Don't you believe in following God's commandments? Serious!

  • @windigo77 I don't know where you're getting your information, but you're way off. Maybe you should reread the bible. God saved a woman who was a prostitute from being stoned. He said to the people as they were about to stone her "if any of you are without sin, cast your stone." No stones were cast. You're distorting fanaticism with gods commandments. Get your facts straight before you spout off.

  • @norloko4 What are you talking about? It's THE SAME GOD. You believe in the same god that commanded the stoning of disobedient women and people who work on the sabbath. THE SAME GOD. Get YOUR facts straight!

  • @windigo77 What are you talking about? GOD DIDN'T COMMAND ANYONE TO BE STONED!!!

  • @norloko4 Uh. Have you never bothered to crack open the old testament? He commands [basically] EVERYBODY be stoned!!!

  • @norloko4 If you don't stone those people who work on the sabbath, your disobeying god's commandment! Lesser in heaven for you!

  • @windigo77 Sorry, I don't remember saying that homosexuals "choose" to be gay. But they do "choose" to act on those homosexual urges. And I happen to believe that's a sin. So don't call me "stupid", that is very intolerant of you. I have nothing against gay people personally, believe me, I just don't agree with their lifestyle. I'm sorry that you feel like you have to try and belittle people who have a different opinion than you.

  • @tracylane45 Oh, so you expect homosexuals to subject themselves to a life of loneliness. How about we subject YOU to a life of loneliness and see how YOU feel about that. I am PROUD to be intolerant of intolerance, so thanks for the compliment. Obviously you DO have a problem with gay people, otherwise you wouldn't be so cruel to subject them to a LIFE of loneliness. I don't care if you agree, it's THEIR lifestyle, not YOURS! You don't get a say in how I live my life, and who they can love.

  • @tracylane45 You are a cruel, arrogant ass hole. That's what you are. A bigot, who can't see past the end of your nose, or outside of your little bubble of delusion. I have a secret to tell you THERE IS NO GOD, and there is most definitely no such thing as SIN. You just stated that you believe it is a sin, so you think SIN is your opinion? Well, I think bigotry is a sin, I think circumcision is a sin. Does that mean I get to threaten you with hell, or legislate your rights away?

  • @windigo77 I truely feel sorry for you. And I know I'm making you more upset by saying that, but you just seem to have so much hate and contention in your comments. I just stated my opinion, and that makes me a bigot? What happened to free speech and the freedom to worship/believe (or not believe) as we choose? And I believe that loneliness and celibacy are two separate things. A celibate person isn't necessarily "lonely", just as a sexually active person isn't necessarily NOT lonely.

  • @tracylane45 I TRULY feel sorry for you. So full of hatred towards your fellow man, so arrogant, and so prideful. "The meek will inherit the Earth", so why don't you step off your soap box and leave people alone. You stating your opinion doesn't make you a bigot, you EXISTING makes you a bigot. You BELIEVE celibacy isn't lonliness? Well, i DON'T believe that, so why do you think you have the right to enforce what YOU believe, over what I BELIEVE! Huh?!

  • @tracylane45 How about you find some EVIDENCE, before you attempt to legislate your opinion. Belief is like hearsay, it's USELESS when your looking for truth. Atheists are capable of saying "I don't know", where you are so happy, and arrogant to say, "I KNOW I KNOW!" like the stupid girl in class, who just wants attention, but never gets the answers right. Your religion NEVER gets the answers right, so what the HELL makes you think that your 'beliefs' should have any merit? Humble yourself!

  • @tracylane45 You believe that HORSES existed in North America, as is stated in your Book of Mormon? Well guess what sister, HORSES didn't EXIST in North America until they were introduced by Europeans. Kind of a big screw up for Joseph eh? Oh yeah, and that part about ELEPHANTS in North America? Not since the Ice Age! LOL Man, your religion is such a joke. And you more so for believing in it.

  • @tracylane45 Lets make a law that says "Marriage between a Mormon and another Mormon is not recognized in the state of Nevada" and see how well that works out eh? What's the difference? I think Mormons marrying each other is a SIN! I personally know a MORMON Bishop who molested little boys, so I think MORMONS shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a little boy. Seem fair to you? Seems FAIR TO ME!

  • @tracylane45 You know what's funny? God created genetics right, he created them in such a way that TWO MEN can create BOTH female and males. We have the technology to blend the DNA of two men, it's actually quite easy. So now that TWO MEN can procreate, how does that fair with your belief that marriage can only be between a man and a woman, when MEN AND MEN can just as easily procreate? HUH?!

  • @windigo77 You lost me. I'm no scientist... how is a baby created with only sperm? I'll have to look that one up. Geez, I think I'm done here, I've got better things to do, like sleep... 'night all... (well, I think windigo77 is the only one still up)

  • @tracylane45 Obviously. First you take a donor egg, remove the DNA from it, then extract the DNA from both sperm cells, and inject them into the nucleus of the egg. The DNA will behave just as it would if it were male-female, and the cell will begin mitosis and you will end up with a baby that is the descendant of two males. The only thing you have to avoid is that both sperm aren't XY, but that's easy since the Y chromosome is the smallest chromosome, and there is plenty of sperm to chose from.

  • @tracylane45 I bet someday in the future, two men having a baby will be as easy as ordering a 'neutral' egg, and fertilizing it with two sperm cells. It's only a matter of time. Thanks modern science! Now if we could only get rid of all these stupid religious people holding us back from taking the reigns of our species away from the TRIAL AND ERROR (Natural Select) by which evolution haphazardly governs our species, because of their delusion that Evolution is actually "intelligent". Sheesh.

  • @tracylane45 Back to my point though, God sure does look like an ape doesn't he? I wonder if God and Apes are related, maybe Apes are created in the image of Ape God, and Ape God is Human God's daddy! Oh wait, that's still evolution, just nonsensical evolution. Man, sure does suck that Evolution disproved the God of the bible ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY YEARS AGO, and somehow it's still being discussed as if it had a thread of truth to any of it.

  • @tracylane45 In all reality, there really isn't any reason to restrict ourselves to even using a human egg. We could get the same result with a chicken egg, LOL. You should study genetics, it's fascinating. If we wanted to, we could probably hatch a human, with two daddies, from a chicken egg! Just wait, it'll happen eventually!

  • @tracylane45 All of this wouldn't be possible, if all life on this planet, wasn't fundamentally related, just as Evolution says. Evolution is true sister, Humans aren't made in the image of God, we are made in the image of Apes, who were made in the image of tree-dwelling rats, who were made in the image of lizard-like mammals (like the platypus), who were made in the image of tiktalik, who was made in the image of a species of fish, who was made in the image of a species of sea anemone. No God.

  • @tracylane45 Windigo77 is CLUELESS!! He thinks he's a scientist but really he just been indoctrinated way too much in biology class. I appreciate your comments. It's nice to know that there are still people out there who believe homosexuality is wrong.

  • @norloko4 Indoctrinated in biology class? You mean I LEARNED SOMETHING? Oh, I'm sorry, I know how to learn things, and I don't mindlessly believe in 2000 year old fairy tales for grown ups. You see, I grew out of fairy tales, and learned how to THINK! You should try it!

  • @tracylane45 you are a fool.

  • What I still don't get is if god loves everyone and made everyone in his image. Then y is everyone so hateful when they find out someones gay

  • @91pup Just wanted to mention that I believe that God created us in his image, meaning "physical" image, meaning that God looks like a man, not a horse or ladybug or whatever else. And he created a man and a woman to "multiply and replenish the earth". Homosexuality was never meant to be part of the deal. Having said that, it is their choice to LIVE that lifestyle, and I can't force them to do otherwise. And I know some people can be really cruel to gays but that I also don't agree with.

  • @tracylane45 Oh, so you think God has an inverted retina causing a huge blind spot? You think Octopus's have better eyes than God? You think God has an appendix? You think God has a tail bone? Seriously? Man, God, SURE LOOKS LIKE A MONKEY!

  • @tracylane45 When did you decide to be straight? I don't ever remember deciding my sexuality.

  • @tracylane45 its not a choice

  • @91pup Okay, please understand me when I say, I DON'T believe that being attracted to the same sex is a CHOICE. I never said that, because I DON'T believe it. What I DO believe, is that ACTING on those feelings of attraction IS a choice. There is a difference. Just had to clarify my point of view. (this is directed to the comment above as well, from Sylandralar)

  • @tracylane45 @91pup it's true, tracy just wants homosexuals to live and die alone, and never experience love. She's a cruel person.

  • @windigo77 If you knew me personally, you would NEVER say that I'm a cruel person. I don't have a single enemy. Of course EVERYBODY should experience love and not be lonely. But sex isn't necessarily love - so you can't use that arguement. Period. But of course, we are both free to believe as we choose. I don't impose my beliefs on others. I feel like I'm not trying to convince you of anything, other than the fact that I have a right to believe as I do, and you the same.

  • @tracylane45 Marriage isn't necessarily sex, so you can't use THAT argument! Did you know that 1/3 of homosexuals don't have anal sex? That's A LOT that don't. When you take away the marriages of ALL homosexuals, because you assume they ALL have sex, you are then unfairly restricting the rights of the 1/3 that don't. You should remember that I have the right to believe homosexuality is NOT a choice, and that homosexuals should NOT have to be lonely and keep out of politics next time. kay?

  • What is he talking about? In the Mormon thought, there is NO hell...

  • This was an inspiring video. I too have thought about suicide but I came out to some people/friends and their love keeps me going. Its sad that my mom cant accept and well my dad doesnt know. but that wont stop me from living my life. Thanks cody

  • Churches teaching? No, look at what God said, not what man said. I hope you come to the light. All it took was a bite of an apple and death fell upon all of mankind, God takes sin very seriously, that is why he went to the cross, so we could avoide Hell.

  • @sinaejoy7 You believe in fairy tales and are insane. Seek non-religious help. There is no eternal torture chamber for bad doggies. There is no magic sky city for good kitties and there is no sky cake for you when you die. The concept of an omniscient, omnipotent, loving god and the concept of hell are mutually exclusive.

  • MORMONS DO NOT BELIEVE GAYS GO TO HELL.

Going to "Hell" actually takes a concerted effort to fight against God...which requires that you know the whole truth. Only the most wicked and evil are cast into "Outer Darkness".

You have to be an usurper/enslaver or a destroyer/abominator

  • @LoneIndividual That's total bullshit. Mormons treat homosexuals like shit. And, yes, they believe that gays will go to hell. Just not "outer darkness".

  • @LoneIndividual :

    Leviticus 18:22:

"You shall not lie with a male as those who lie with a female; it is an abomination."

So....as a Mormon, do you discount the Bible?

As a non believer in all religion I think it is all BullS@#$. But, I would love to hear how you rationalize this...

  • @amyleoness

Mormons do not discount the Bible.

If you're not hurting people physically, psychologically, financially, etc...you won't go to hell unless you really want to.

Gays simply won't reach the fullest measure of happiness that is found in being free in good company.

They can't make their own kids...so they are not free. Therefore, it is a sin, because sin puts them in bondage. Wickedness never was happiness.

ps: Read The Book of Enoch and we'll continue this discussion.

  • @LoneIndividual ..all I can say is WOW. Indoctrinated much?

  • @amyleoness

So...what. Do you want more freedom or less? That's really what this is about if you want me to keep it simple for you.

If it weren't for AMERICAN CHRISTIANS, there would have been no American Revolution. It was in Churches* that plans were organized to fight against the British.

Religion causes war. War is sometimes for the right reasons.

Stand up for what you believe in and fight. Stop being a wishy washy lukewarm piece of shit and pick a side. Freedom or Tyranny.

  • @LoneIndividual The fact that you equate religion and freedom is hillarious. Religion is an institution! Try having an idea that wasn't handed to you.

  • @LoneIndividual Newsflash: There's no forever torture chamber for bad doggies, and no sky cake in Sky City for good little kitties. Your gullible ass has been fed LLLLIES your whole life. Break free of your brainwashing and your grandmammy's superstitions.

  • @willbond

Ok, ok, ok. Letz get NIHILISTIC.

Are you ready to die? At what point are you willing to die?

Morality itself is superstition. If there is no God, there is no immortality. If there is only Death, why should I care about what I leave behind in this world?

Death is inevitable, Extinction is assured, Entropy is Observed.

If there is no God, there is no way to live. If there is a God, there is only one right way to live.

    One truth, One reality.

    Prove me otherwise.
