  • @Metropofan I don't think so. There actually was a video for this song that used footage from the movie.

  • Incredible blue eyes, and man could she dance!!! Check out those moves.

  • I wish Hollywood will make a re-make of Metropolis so that we can watch it and to feel like the classic movie. I hope is not CGI like astro boy but a live action

  • shame on you for wanting a remake!!!! :o

This is the most important film in a generation, the birth of scifi and special effects. To remake this would be nothing short of scandalous

  • @smadgers It's doubtful they would get it right, anyway. Some people have pointed out how the storyline doesn't quite make sense (Why the black glove? Why a robot to gain control of the workers when their master already has them cowed? Why trust a man who was your romantic rival?) and Hollywood would butcher it in an attempt to iron out the "flaws".

  • @QueenBoadicea its not just a black glove, it is a robotic hand, and the robot is to control the workers because the scientist (sorceror) wanted revenge on he ruler of the city for his lost love and he was also insane

  • @TheAvengerz Well, of course the (mad) scientist may have wanted revenge. But I'm talking about the financier, the man who came to the scientist for help. He already controlled the workers. He had a spy in their midst who told him about the mysterious plans. Why rock the boat? As for that being a robotic hand--wow, haven't seen that mentioned anywhere else. Did you get that information or is it speculation? If so, it's an interesting notion.

  • @smadgers Not necessarily. Quite frankly, I agree that nothing could top the original, but that doesn't mean a remake would take away from the original. People thought that Moroder's version desecrated the original, but without it we would never have the complete restored version we have now. Say what you will about Moroder's artistic choices, but it was the first serious attempt to restore this classic to its original glory, and my hat's off to him for it.

  • There's something about that psycho-bitch that destroys me. SssSs

  • Holy crap! I love this song - used to listen to this soundtrack over and over, all great songs. Metropolis rules.
