The simpsons pinball machine (god bless you Stern Pinball - the last coin-op maker in existence!) always had less tilts than the notorious Addams Family machines made by Bally's. Those little suckers cost me many a quarter that I could be doing laundry with now.
Agreed. I would always have issues with The Shadow, also a Bally. I thought it was just a faulty slam tilt switch, but maybe it's the company. Interesting since Bally was the first to introduce tilt funcitonality.
