  • i been trying to go to a shop for awhile now.. i plan on it right after taking the tracks i have in out..

    cant wait

  • Ladies in my country (check my username)..lol..go for blowouts EVERY sunday!!...no lie...its like our tradition!...and a social thing...(vanity)

  • after watching several round brush tutorials, I rushed right out to sally's and bought me a $12 round brush. Got home excited at the thought of having beautiful bouncy salon-like round brushed hair. washed/condition- added heat protector, sectioned, got my new round brush and blow dryer with the concentration nozzle in perfect position-starting from underneath and at the roots, then tried that fancy move she did at 4:10, the brush was stuck in my hair for 20 minutes- needless say never again :(

  • @kymelle @kymelle oh oh...you skipped a crucial step!..the rollers!!!!..this is a must when it comes to a perfect Dominican blowout!...

  • why is there so much smoke? does that damage the hair? i want to get a blowout but kind of skeptical now because for 1... i am very tender headed and 2... i feel like all that heat is damaging. i have been natural for 1 yr and looking to do something different and figured this was an option.

  • @nequa28 It burns especially on your roots, your hair gets really smooth and straight but its harsh on your hair after a while.

  • @nequa28 the smoke is only from the product put in the hair!! its not ur hair burning...its a natural reaction to oil and heat! They actually teach this in cosmetology school and its better for ur hair than a flat iron, curler, hot comb, etc. im not saying just run out an get 1!!! but ur hair should be ok...especially with it being virgin hair (i mean free of any chemical processing!) which is the strongest and healthiest!

  • What's this song called?!?!?!?! Someone please reply!! I love it! :D

  • @AJ11168 "Que Tengo Que Hacer" - Omega

  • now thats a dominican rollo set no burning the hair and no smoke i would go to her shes not burning the hair and you only get damage if you see smoke and and too much product in the rollo set ...im dominican/puertorican and DASSIT!!!

  • Hi

You should try Beaute Ultrasonic. Its a repair flat iron that does not use any heat at all

go to keratin4u website for more details

  • i love omega

  • i go to a dominican hair salon too and when i get my hair blow dried straight it is soooo silky! but i don't do it often though. the last time i got it done was a month ago and before that i got it done 2-4 years before lol.

  • How long did the blow out last?

  • looks like it would smell burnt!

  • Damn can you say heat damage!

  • @danibro96 it would b major heat damag if she did it like every week. I wouldn't dare do it once a month, but maybe every two months...not even...maybe more...

  • its sad how my hair never comes out like that

  • I already did it before I got the internet and now I can see that my way to do was good!

  • Wats the name ov dis song????? itz da bomb!!!!! :p

  • Wowwwww, YOU knoW IT GottA BE DOminicAN!!!!

  • @4804011184 The original is called Que tengo que hacer by Daddy Yankee. But this one is by Omega.

  • I like the music ^_^.. AND her hair turned out really nicee

  • I like the music ^_^

  • the hair is not supposed to fall at all with this method, neither has to be too hot, i am dominican and i know we dont have to make customers suffer on this, now i am nit agree at all with us method, never been

  • I WOULDVE WRAPPED THAT ROLLER SET AND WENT ON BOUT MY BUSINESS..LOL

  • @bwright0325 lmao hell yeah that is doing the most

  • woot!

  • The thing there is such a thing as TOO much heat-heat IS damaging to the hair so a dominican blow out should not done frequently -thats why deep conditioners and steam treatments come in because hair will break i dried out too much.

  • OMG! She's 10 weeks post relaxer, and her hair came out looking that good and bouncy, and flowy...unbelievable!

  • OMEGA! =]

  • aayyyeeee dis my song!!!! lol foreal and i went to this hair salon there really good!

  • aayyyeeee dis my song!!!! lol foreal

  • People are always talking about its too much heat...why do you think heat is sooo bad for your hair? When I went to the Dominican salon on the regular...my hair was healthier than it had ever been. However, do what works for you! The heat wasn't a problem for my hair. Heat in dirty hair with a bunch on gooked up products is bad...not after a wash and good conditioner.

  • To me it just seems like to much heat, if i am already sitiing under the dryer for 45 mins; then why do you really have to blow dry it again to get straight when you can wrap it to do that. i had a friend who's hair starting breaking off cause of this method. i will stick to my roller wrap and separating the curls with my fingers.

  • I just love Dom. blow outs. I can't wait for m hair to grow long enough to do them again.

  • wayyyyyy too much heat

  • @MusicAddicted96 Like 40 dollars

  • @CAndyySNickers thankyou

  • Am so proud of being Dominican we know hair am starting my hair journey today yeah for me!! It grows but I dont maintain it like a real Dominican thats stopping today

  • @TawanaNicole the blower was too hot

  • haha she did the white girl shake after it was finished :)

  • I get a Dominican blowout like every 5 months :)

  • But How Much Does It Cost

  • Comment removed

  • @TawanaNicole it lasted for about 2 weeks and i have a tight/loose curl pattern

  • love this song!

  • I Live Around Hair And I Wanna Get It Done. How Much Does It Cost! lol I call No One Answers!

  • @MusicAddicted96 ..with them u just walk in

  • i LOVE GETTING THIS!!!!! BUT I ONLY got in when i wuz in NYC for summer vacation it really hurts but its worth it!!!!! i never gt a perm in my hair so im natural....i get presses bt when i got the blowout......it LOOKED like i got a perm!!!! so amazing

  • @patlenora9 Kool, i got mine done in NYC too. And i loved it (:

  • @patlenora9 how long did it last?

  • @MzCaramel905 it lasted on me for about 2 weeks

  • me encanta omega!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that song is catchy. makes me wanna booty shake..lol

  • @blkvixon

    omega que tengo que hacer

  • Your hair turned out so beautiful.

  • Now THIS is the real deal... The Dominican Blow Out!

  • i dont know if many people know this, but this is HURTS!!!! lmao!! Jus saying! lol. ive had it done like a few times, at more than one salon. No matter where u go! It HURTS!!

  • @peechgurl did you ever get a perm from them? im scared because im so used to going to a black hair salon where im paying $80.

  • @tempthuggish525 well ive never actually been to their salons, and no ive never got my hair permed by Dominicans. Im sure they know what they are doing in a sense that they are liscenced beauticians, but if you feel more comfortable going to a black salon, then go. but 80 bucks. sheesh!! i perm my own hair and do just fine. but ive been doing it for a while and my personal stylist doesnt mind it.

  • @peechgurl

I think it depends how it is done, is better to section the hair fist, but most salons choose not to do it because of time issues.

    anyway sometimes beauty hurts:)

blow drying is still better than relaxing the hair too often

I did a video on my baby's hair is a different way to do the blowout is actually the classic Dominican blow out.

we must say that this video is great her hair looks healthy and shiny

Thumbs up para mis Dominicans bellas:)

  • @MsBlackrose76 yes i agree blowdrying is better than chemicals every month, but i can only take but so much pain lol. i go to the dominicans when my roots are too thick for me to do them myself. I know i can do it, its just easier for them to do it! lol. but yes, limiting heat in all aspects is the best solution.

But i doubt ill ever go all natural. I just cant do the inbetween stage!!

  • Comment removed

  • @peechgurl i stopped having them the heat was too much plus my scalp tender

  • Beautiful results! Also, can you tell me the name of this song playing? Sounds so good :D

  • I love this song.

  • o really? thanks for the infp and 20-25 bucks? thats hecka cheap. too bad ur far lol. thanks tho

  • wow that came out really nice! how much does this usually go for?

  • @lashawna07 Between $20-$25 bucks...but getting it done too often can lead to damage thinning hair if you're relaxed, and heat damage if you're natural. Be careful!
