What an AHA moment! I tried your wonderful concoction and it works beautifully. I do have a question, however. How long can I keep it before it spoils?
I know I suck, but I just can't help it; when ever she says "pans" it sounds like "pants" to me. "Fill up your pants", "Flour your pants", "Of course I haven't got spots in my pants" LOL But apart from that I love her videos
I baked 6 cakes today 2 -14, 2- 10, and 2- 6 and I tried this method and it woked and the pans are so easy to clean up i dont have to soak them. Thank you Sandy your a cake master and us grasshoppers appreciate the tips
it is all vegetable shortening. Ingrediants are soybeen oil, fully hydrogenated palm oil, partially hydrogogenated palm and soybean oils, mono and diglycerides, TBHQ and Citric Acid.
You are awesome!!! This recipe is the best, I use it all the time, thank you!

The recipe is:
1 cup All Purpose flour
1 cup Crisco (not butter flavor)
1/2 cup vegetable oil
I learned this method from her months ago and use it all the time now and it works awesome!!!

Hi, like most of the people querying Grisco(spelling???) I am wondering if the equivalent in the UK is Trex? Does anyone know the answer please?
