  • What are the Locomotives? They look like SD40T-2 or SD-45t-2

  • Nice! Check out my Auto train.

  • Cool... take a look at the early 1900's in HO at SALT LAKE ROUTE RR

  • I never knew that a model engine could pull all of those auto racks!!

  • cool and small

  • The car carriers are made by Concor. However a few of them are nicer ones made by Red Caboose.

DCC works by having a constant power supply in the rail tracks but the controllers connected to the command station sends a signal down the rails at a higher frequency. The decoder fitted into each loco picks up the signal being sent to it, processes this and then reacts to what the controllers connected to the command station are telling it to do such as speed up, slow down, lights on etc.

  • two questions: where did you get those car carriers and what brand are they??? and can someone please send me a message explaining DCC??? i need to know more about DCC before i start my layout, or get more engines.....

  • very good layout

  • I like the palm trees. Very nice layout.

  • Engines sounded like Bachmann ... ?

  • No - they are Intermountain tunnel motors!

Might be background noise from other layouts at the show.
