Any budding DJ's out there that can mix the English version with the French version? It would be so cool. American Love with Quand Tu Pars and back to English again?
I searched for this song for 20 years. A friend sent me a tape from a London nightclub and I used to listen to it every morning, missing my friend and feeling the sadness, depression and haunting trance of this song. The DJ mixed English with the French version and back again! Love it!
This was such a massive hit on the gay scene, but never received any national airplay as far as I know. The entire thing is hypnotic and I have never tired of it. So many great records that were massive in gay clubs etc suffered the same fate unfortunately
