If I get a blackberry would it be out of date after a while? I mean the RIM market is going down but I just love the sleek design of the BB and the keyboard is AMAZING! The iphone is amazing at everything else the only thing that is holding me is the touch keyboard and the same old design! Which would be better and ipod 4g with a bb 9900 or iphone 4s alone? plz feel free to give ur opinion, will help me alot! Note: this phone is going to last with me for at least for 2 yrs.

OMG this looks beautiful. It's exactly the compromise I wanted between the functionality and keyboard of a Bold and the slickness of iPhone/Android. There are still many aspects of BB that win over the other phones hands down, enough to keep power BB users with RIM despite their current lack of pizazz. Well, now they have the pizazz. If this has a comparable battery life with the 9700, it stands to be the most perfectest phone evah, at least from my perspective!
@bmw2go11 The blackberry keyboard is also the reason why BB users won't ditch their BB for a iPhone/Android device. RIM is trying to hit all the targets at once, and they've managed to capture only the main disadvantages of both devices, touch, and physical keyboard.

@sheephurrdurr Speak for yourself. Only reason I haven't ditched mine is because I'm tied into a contract. I didn't realise at the time that the iPhone 3GS was also free on contract otherwise I would have got that instead. The blackberry Curve (which I have) is barely even a smartphone. It's ok, but very disappointing compared to the competition.
I have this phone and is great, OS 7 is cool.

screen is too small to be used effectively as a touch device
because of the os, the trackball scroll thing is pointless
