yes, that is just a standard DVD disc. DVD RW are ones that are writable several times and can have the files on them deleted.

its simple you extract image files on your deskop and you gonna need DAEMON tools you just mount that file with DAEMON tool and in my computer should be installaton.

jordanaddic youre xbox can get banned like that because you need to open yp your 360 and change the disc reading thing and change it with another one that you buy online and you need a kreon drive for your computer to burn 360 games and you need to burn them to dual layer dvd+r discs...i cant explain all the details but just look it up online

I've tried ti burn resident evil5 for xbox360, my xbox is flashed and i played over 20 downloaded games witth it, BUT when i try to burn RE5 i get this:

I get confused by the terminology in a lot of the proprietary burning software. With Imgburn, I always feel that I know what the programme is doing.

An .iso is a type of compressed file, like an archive (.arc) or a .zip. It is used to reduce the size of a programme so you can download it faster.

I have been trying out different types of linux by downloading the liveCD version. That way, if I don't like it, there is nothing to uninstall. I download the .iso file for the programme and burn it to cd. Then I can boot linux from my cd drive and load it into memory.

If you simply copy the iso to cd, it won't work.

Also, most cloning software can produce an iso. You can clone one hard drive onto another, so that you have a back up that is bootable in case your first one dies. Or you could compress all the stuff on your hard drive into a smaller iso file for storage in a smaller amount of space. If you need to restore your hard drive from that iso file, you need to have the cloning software installed on a bootable cd or 2nd hard drive.

The isos should already be split into proper sizes, so yes, just burn like this, but remember that when installing, you'll need to put them in order.

I've never seen that error, and I can't find anything on it. I'm guessing maybe you're not burning to the right cd/dvd drive if you have more then one installed.

Because i burn some cheats for PS2 through Usb and stuff.. so yea my problem is that when the converting reaches 99% i get this error. i fogot what it is. but the error happened to me like 5 times so far. lol i am out of dvd's right now.. gona go get more. If it's 4 rars just extract the first one and the rest should auto extract with it.

If it's 4 isos, then you'll need to burn (or mount) each to it's own dvd or cd and install them all in order from 1st to 4th.

so dvd decryptor does the same thing as imageburn? because i'm having trouble burning isos to DVD with Nero. the isos are psp games.

i'm having problems extracting the iso from the disk (ps1). i keep getting mds files or img files when i extract with alcohol 120% and then i have to convert to iso with poweriso. but then after i make the eboot for psp, the game hangs after sony logo.

i just want to grab the ISO from a disk without all these other files.

There should be a option to extract to iso, if you have a fully version of alcohol 120%, as mds files are it's... own type of files. Either that or you'll have to find another program to rip the disks. I've never tried what you are doing, so I myself can't be of much help. If you still have problems later today I can do a little searching with you, but right now I have to head out somewhere.

i downloaded spyro the dragon, i extracted the archive and i get 1 bin file which is 646mb and i got a cue file which is 1kb, i load imgburner or ashampoo burner and it wont let me burn the bin file but only the cue file, whats that gonna do

As long as you have the cue file with it in the same folder you should be fine. A cue file is a plaintext file describing the structure and the location of the bin file.

Are you trying to write to the correct drive?

is your dvd defective? Is it + or -, maybe your disk drive doesn't support that...
