doesn it seem kind've odd that the dog can see visually what it's finding...? put covers over those holes and show us a video. i'm a scent detection dog trainer, myself, and i believe fully in their abilities, but again, the dog being able to see the hides, makes it extremely easy for them....

Very cool! I'm teaching my mutt to do the same. She's great at finding, but her cues could use some work.... I know when she's telling the "truth" though... she can't fool me!
