Betty and Daniel don't need to get together. It's a love story I'll give them that, they do have chemistry but they're much better off seperate because if they did get together, well then what would happen. It would completely spoil it if they got together.

i agree with crashbandicoot62. Just because this is an adaptation of Betty la fea doesn't mean it'd follow the same story. Nicolas and Betty didn't become a couple but here Betty and Henry did. Betty's mom was alive in la fea but not in ugly. Hugo was not gay like mark. There's a ton of differences between the two. And no, betty here will not be made beautiful because that'd betray the very principle they're trying to evoke--that she's been beautiful all along...

I KNOW that will have so future attraction between Daniel and Betty, caz I watched the brazilian version of the colombian show ( bete a feia). In the end of real ugly betty, betty turns up to be really cute without her braces and things like that. Also Daniel ends up with her...but as they said before, I don't think that it'll happen so soon, maybe just on one of the last seasons ;)

i have seen betty a feia and it was way more fun than us version of it. i really would like betty to be more feminine, to start change like original betty into a beautiful girl. i think henry is a right twat and shouldnt be in this series at all, he's so stiff...

Guys please don't be so naive! The whole story is precisely about Daniel falling in love with Betty!!! But of course, it's something it will happen only in the long run, otherwise the show will have to end this season. Has anyone seen "Betty la Fea"? This is just an adaptation of that telenovela.

just because it is an adaptation of betty la fea doesnt mean that the ending is going to be the same. If it was there would be no need for the writers and the writers strike would be no problem.
