This song did get up to number 10 in July of 1968 on WLS. Unfortunately, most of the rest of the country never heard of it. But for another great example of WHY? I Need Love by the Third Booth got up to #2 in the same month, only kept out of #1 by Jumpin Jack Flash. But try to find anyone outside of Chicago or Peoria who ever heard of it, and try to find anyone besides Bob Stroud who ever plays it.
I LISTEN TO THIS SONG ON WOKY OUT OF MILWAUKEE. GOOD CHICAGO GROUP AND GREAT SONG. THERE WAS A LOT OF GOOD MUSIC BACK THAN YOU DON'T HEAR ON THE RADIO NOW, SAD
I can't believe that this song never hit the Top 40. What were we teenagers thinking at the time? Was it that the radio stations gave it little air play?I bought the record and still listen to it often.
This song should've gone a lot higher on the charts- was there another NCS song on the charts or was this a flip side of a hit that just didn't get any play time?
@n2uid01 Ray's in top form on this one. Be sure and catch his story about writing this song as a teen. Ray's solo remake of this is also excellent. 73 de Dave
Heard this song at Trader Joe's in Los Angeles. Love it! We love Ronnie Rice.

New Colony Six... I remember this song but I guess it's because I listened to WLS radio from Chicago.

This Group is Great. Too bad not many others knew that back in the late 60's

I had to order their CD. The guy asked me, how do you know this group? I heard them by listening to WGN Radio in the 1960's

This could have been written today by The Posies,Teenage Fan Club or some shoegaze band.

Another SUPERB love ballad written by my friend and New Colony Six founder / lead singer Ray Graffia Jr.
For all intent and purpose, this 45 should have been the next big national hit for the NC6 right after "I Will Always Think About You."

A lovely melody. In all reality he seems like a stalker. I wonder if this song inspired The Police to pen Every move you make!
