@shoelessyankee - True, however a couple of big problems. One you are totally dependant upon the wind, shock waves from the fireworks and extremely hard to see it at 400 feet in the air when its pitch black out side. Believe me I would have loved to gotten all the the fire works.
What an amazing town. I sure do miss it. Growing up there was a bit like being in a Jimmy Stewart movie. It's a shame the downtown got wiped out by that awful mall. I remember when all the businesses were owned by neighbors. *sigh* Well, nothing stays the same but does everything have to be taken over by "Wart-Mall"?
