I am sad and angry when I hear about people being raised to be afraid of not making it to heaven or of going to hell because they have been taught religious dogma. If anyone is interested in losing their fear of hell as I have done, then study up on EMDR (eye movement desentisization and reprocessing.) As to say, some children reach that number usually by age 7-8 or so, while some may reach theirs by 5 and some may not reach theirs until they're 9-10. I have used it to reduce and eliminate my fear of hell and also to reduce my emotional attachment to the religious beliefs that I was indoctrinated with.

As to say, some children reach that number usually by age 7-8 or so, while some may reach theirs by 5 and some may not reach theirs until they're 9-10. It is whatever age a child knows right from wrong, definitively. Mentally retarded people cannot be responsible for understanding right from wrong. But, Christian parents of a mentally retarded child will usually take that child to church, and whatever that childs capabilities are God knows.

Of course, I could say that we can look around us and see all kinds of proof that God exists.. and you could reply with other reasons why we have trees, flowers, grass, people and all other types of God's Creations.

Please don't undermine or underestimate God and the things of Him..... nor overly credit or give credence to science. It takes "faith" to believe in Heaven and Hell and it takes faith to disbelieve either or both.

Also, "living forever" is in the spiritual sense... and one must be spiritually dead to go to Hell. Those in Hell are very aware of and can see things around them. The very same with those in Heaven. All are awaiting the final judgment.. being judged on their deeds, good and bad... and will be awarded accordingly. Believers will go to their place in Heaven of eternal rest... while all those of whom refuse to believe have to look forward to is to be cast into the lake of fire for eternity.
