  • @dalektaliban Well that somthing he must work out in season 7 then but i still think he better that RTD.

  • Aw the cut off

    "Legs.. good.

    Bow tie! Cool.

    ...

    i can buy a fez"

  • *Beep

    River: "It's from the Doctor!"

    Amy: "What's it say?"

River: "Remember to take your ovaltine."

    Amy: ". . . Shit."

  • Great now every time I watch this scene I can't help but notice the 'fapping' sounds the Doc makes as he's in the Pandorica.

  • What I wanted to happen,

    River: It's from the Doctor.

    Amy: What does it say?

    River: Allons-y

  • @JustGuess500 No let it go, weve moved on D:

  • Why does it sound, when he is going to make the Big Bang 2, like he is masterbating...He is my future boyfriend! <3

  • if i ever decide to jump off a building, i will text to my girlfriend and it will say, geronimo

  • @DarkraiRocks494 Bad idea in less your a Time Lord or goodbye forever.

  • compared to the TARDIS exploadsion... the pandorica is so small!

  • put in 360:the quality is amazing

put in 1080:u can touch them

  • Legs? Yes.

    Bow tie? Cool.

    I can buy a fez.

  • 2:21

Yep, I think you got it Doctor. :P

  • he was watching big bang theory

  • River: its from the doctor...

    Amy: what does it say?

    River: i fuck u later river ;D

    Amy: Get a room!!

  • wooow

  • ah i escaped,i love it when i do that :D:D:D:D xD

  • Geronimo, best word in the world!

  • Geronimo!

  • Oh, I guess I escaped. Love it when I do that. LOL

  • Notice how daleks never miss...unless it's the doctor...

He should be dead by now

  • @slightlyinsaneFTW Remember Rule 1.

  • @MrFitzonic I don't see what that has to do with it

  • @slightlyinsaneFTW The Doctor said that the Dalek was going to kill him, but this was just to distract the trio while the Doctor did whatever-the-hell to the Pandorica. So what did he do? He lied. Which is what Rule 1 is (which is repeated in "Let's Kill Hitler").

  • @MrFitzonic No, I get that bit. My point is the dalek's aim itself. Here and in 'The Stolen Earth', the Dalek slightly misses him, and so doesn't kill him straightaway

  • @slightlyinsaneFTW Oh they got him good one time. Dude narrowly dodged a full regeneration into being the spittin' image of Matt Smith!

  • That settles it, right before I die, my last word is going to be "Geronimo"

  • 1:23 DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum DAAA Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum DAAA Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum Dum DAAA Dum Dum Dum DAAA Dum Dum Dum DAAA Dum Dum Dum Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • @Spiceadder Anyone else notice that they're chosen to use the Musical Score of Mass Effect 2?

  • @GaijinCartoonist I've seen a few people say this but I'm pretty sure it should sound quite different (right now comparing 'I am The Doctor' to 'The End Run').

Which score from Mass Effect 2 do you find it similar to?

  • @Metrulizer "Suicide Mission" From ME2 Soundtrack

  • You cannot imagine how hard I cried at this moment.

  • @steven87gill1 'came exactly as it was' so considering Rory was returned as he was, I assume the Angels were too. They could come back! But I think they've been done [well] enough. Bringing them back is milking it slightly.

  • @viridismonasteriense The Weeping Angels are back, they show up in the Series 6 Part 2 trailer.

  • Damn you BBC worldwide! You missed off the best bit!

"Bowtie, cool. ...I can buy a fez."

  • I dont get it. River didnt recognize Rory in the big bang calling him the plastic centurion, but it's her dad!

  • @oblaga because he was erased then. Amy didn't remember hér parents and she still existed. They were both anomalies. And the Doctor lóves anomalies...!

  • GERONIMO !!!

  • 1:39 even though he's hurtling towards the sun in a box, the Doctor still have time to text :)

  • @ClawSlasher1 That's not a sun. It's an exploding TARDIS

  • whenever I'm in a difficult situation, I ask myself WWTDD-- What Would The Doctor Do?

  • He looks so ill in this scene

  • Can anyone tell me what episode this is from? Thanks!

  • noooooooooooooooooo

  • at 1:12 I thought for sure it was going to go something like this...

    "Amy Pond...guess what?"

    "...What?"

    "CHICKEN BUTT! xD" -flies off-

  • The Doctor's goodbye to Amy is one of my favourite scenes from series 5. Though he's the youngest actor to take the role, Matt's Doctor seems so terribly old here; ancient and battered and worn out, but still fighting.

  • Ps. I love the music at 1:51 ! It gives me chills :L

  • I LOVE DOCTOR WHO

  • For all of the people arguing back and forth about paradoxes and restoration / creation fields and plot holes, please consider this...

    "wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey"

    I believe that covers everything.

  • @frostek It's a really overused phrase by the fans. People arguing about the mechanics of time travel and paradoxes shows that they're deep-thinking and intelligent individuals who obviously love the concept of what you can do in science fiction. But throwing "wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey" right at them for having such an interest would appears as shallow, as one must respect that some of us are interested in the complexity of The Big Bang.

  • @frostek

    that sounds agreeable.

  • Matt Smith still has the acting talent of a spoon.

  • @turtleman1208

    this scene was sensational acting

  • @turtleman1208 if that's true then tennant must have the acting talent of a dead rock. (yes i know rock's can't die). tennant's acting was made up of eyebrow movements, clenched teeth and shouting/jumping scenes as well as the occasional cry for no reason

  • @DrPipweed Perfect for you then.

  • he having an orgasm?

  • i wanted that transmission to say allons-y so badly XD

  • GERONIMOOO

  • I escaped then? Brilliant! Love it when I do that!

  • "Legs., *yes*. Bow tie: cool. I can buy a fez".

  • Sorry, but Russel T Davies was better.

  • And I still wonder why the fuck people discuss football.

    GERONIMO!!!

  • Well, I escaped then... I love it when I do that :P

  • We love it too doctor, whe love it too

  • I literally Laughed out Loud at the end XD

    Dr.Who you are amazing!

  • Are we sure he wasnt having a wank?

  • @TheODonnellkid good. i'm not the only one who thought he was making weird noises....

  • Where in the US can I watch the full espsodes of Dr. Who?

  • @VinnieSutra zune marketplace dvd, bluray

  • @VinnieSutra BBC America has the new season on April 23 - otherwise its on dvd and bluray from most retailers - I have them all on the dvd boxed sets cos its something I can watch over n over :)

  • BBC America airs full episodes. They will even show the new series tomorrow! @VinnieSutra

  • WTf!!!

  • i just saw the whole season and i explodes with the storyline it was awesome

  • R.I.P. Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen)

  • some great storylines, in this series - I Like this new Doctor -=0-0=-

  • Has Matt Smith been in a fight LOL

  • @TheBLUHBLAHBLUH Actually, there is a yellow subscribe button on the channel pages. I don't see why the info box being at the bottom is so bad either. Also, this video has no ad. So don't make a pointless comment on such a good video because it's irrelevant. Write to YouTube instead, eh?

  • Interesting!

  • Remember when you could watch a video without having to sit through a commercial?

Remember when music videos were uploaded by users and not VEVO

Remember when all the info was to the right of the video?

Remember you could rate a video 1-5 stars?

Remember the famous yellow subscribe button?

Remember when the users controlled the site and not corporations?

Post this in every video and lets start a youtube revolution!

Thumbs up to keep at the top of the page

  • @TheBLUHBLAHBLUH

Remember when people weren't thumb up whores?

    I do...good old days.

  • @viridismonasteriense That's something The Doctor would say but, he would be saying paradox timey wimey. xD

  • River: It's from the doctor.

    Amy: What does it say?

    River: Geronimo!

And did anyone notice that The Doctor had caps lock on? LOL

  • @viridismonasteriense you just made my head hurt... but yes! it makes perfect sense!!

  • @viridismonasteriense I was half expecting an Inception joke there.

  • @viridismonasteriense Are you saying that the aliens that made the tardis get destroyed help actually MAKE the universe instead of destroy it? what idiots, the silence are stupiddd!

  • @bigbadpoo I don't think the Silence were behind the TARDIS exploding. It specifically said "Silence Will Fall" therefore I think the Silence were its target. It would erase the universe to get rid of it and was able to take control of the TARDIS to do it. This is one powerful being one wouldn't want to mess with. But indeed the destruction of the universe lead to its (re)creation. The universe is based on the memory and map of itself and the TARDIS explosion brought it everywhere in all of time

  • @viridismonasteriense well, someone did try and explode that tardis. it had to be someone, and if the silence is part of the story arc, then that is probably them..

  • @bigbadpoo well that little girl who may turn out to be amy's daughter was a timelord and she was a main part of the silence so maybe it was her who blew it up?

  • @viridismonasteriense Nope. The Pandorica had a restoration field, not a creation field. It restored things because they already existed. If it were a time loop, it would be going back to the beginning, not carrying on. If it were a time loop, we'd be back with the 1st Doctor or redoing the series, but never going beyond. Timezones are not different points in time, but different points in space due to the light levels and so the body clocks of organic creatures.

  • @dared111 No, the Doctor called it a 'restoration field' to simplify it. Timezones ARE different points in time. It's in the word. If this wasn't the case the erasure would've only occurred in the relative 'present', the day of the wedding, but no it happened all over the universe all over time sparing Earth temporarily because it was at the 'heart of the storm'. By 'restoring it', the universe was created to be based on itself and it exists because it already existed, without a real beginning!

  • @dared111 "If it were a time loop, it would be going back to the beginning, not carrying on."

Sorry, I meant 'causality loop' there, not time loop (like in Groundhog Day).

  • @viridismonasteriense

Yes, he used circular logic to cover plot holes.

    Genius.

    Pure genius.

  • @FinchDenton Time paradoxes are allowed to use circular logic. By travelling back in time B can cause in the future A to cause B in the past. It doesn't make sense but it does. That's what paradoxes are essentially about.

  • @viridismonasteriense

    No.

The logic behind the choice or method of explanation cannot be tied into the logic of the explanation itself.

Time paradoxes are, at least in most definitions, utilizations of tradition circular logic. However, the decision behind using the plot device of "A time loop. A paradox." is, in itself, circular logic.

And that kind of extra-narrative explation is, in no way whatsoever, "genius", in fact is the well-known folly of poor storytellers to cover up plot holes.

  • @FinchDenton The causality loop was, in my opinion, the entire point, not the cover-up! By recreating, the universe was created which would require no creator because the universe has no beginning, in the sense that it's based on itself: How did the Tenth Doctor know to create an implosion to cancel out the supernova in 'Time Crash'? Because Five saw him do it. Where did the information come from? It's a paradox.

This is a show about time-travel. It happens. Deal with it.

  • @viridismonasteriense

You haven't refuted anything I said.

    I win :3

    U MAD?

    lol U SO MAD

  • @viridismonasteriense

You haven't refuted anything I said.

    I win :3

    U MAD?

    lol U SO MAD

  • @viridismonasteriense i'm confused

  • @viridismonasteriense

I never noticed this before !

  • @viridismonasteriense I had a similar idea for a book when I was about 13.. knew i should have fucking written it!

  • @viridismonasteriense WOW, that's the best comment I've ever saw on Youtube... Have you ever thought about working for Stephen Hawking? ;)

  • @viridismonasteriense It is a second big bang, it is a reboot of the universe. The doctor says so in the episodes a few times. he rebooted the universe the exactly the way it was.

  • @swiftjt Yeah, but the Doctor tends to simplify things in such a way that it's actually nothing like the real thing. Just like in the episode 'Curse of the Black Spot' he explains to Amy how the two ships could exist in the same space and he says it's a universe inside a universe except it's nothing like that. Or in "Space" where he tells Amy and Rory to think of a banana, except what he's describing is nothing like the banana: "Forget the banana!" It's technically the second but also 1st Bang.

  • @viridismonasteriense I havent seen the episdoe in a while but im pretty sure theres nothing that actually indicates the doctor creates the first big bang since he calls it big bang 2 a few times. He says the restotation field recreated the universe based on the the original one. Though you could be right and its one big paradox that the universe is actually based on itelf thus being no actual start point. Tho Amys not the sharpest person so the doctor may have been dumbing it down lol.

  • @swiftjt Actually, I've been doing some thinking and I think I have in fact been wrong.

The first universe was erased. The second universe is a copy, like Rory was, restored through trickery, but the essence restored through remembering. And just like Rory wasn't less a human as an Auton, the universe isn't less the universe being a copy and basically being itself. The first universe was erased BUT that does mean the 2nd universe --we're in now-- WAS exploded into being by the Doctor.

  • @viridismonasteriense You're all pretty wrong, it was made clear if you watched the episode that it is extremely simple. He restored the universe, that's all. Just sort of restored it. It collapsed, and then the it all came back together. The way it works is that, say you have a cracked vase, and then the vase smashes - that's what happened to the universe. But instead of making a new vase, the restoration field pulled it back together, explaining why some of the cracks would still exist.

  • @viridismonasteriense Continuing my previous comment, the River Song we see in the Library and at the crash of Byzantium has already gone through The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang, and she references the end of the universe in her first appearance and the Pandorica in her second, yet we haven't seen it, further confirming that it would be the same universe.

The River we see in series 6 is from before The Big Bang, the River we see in the said story has already met post-Big Bang Doctor. So...

  • @viridismonasteriense He rebooted the universe. He didn't make it, which makes the Second Big Bang. If it was an ontological paradox as you said, the cracks in time would still exist. But since it was rebooted, they aren't there in series 6. But we still have a connection to the "Silence Will Fall" and "Time Runs Out" ark so I dunno, but that's just what I think happened.

  • @MrFitzonic Yeah, you're right it was a reboot. I've come to that understanding now myself since the time I posted that. The new universe is a copy of the old universe which was erased. Which makes it the cause of the second universe and the title is actually right all along. The second big bang. Should I remove the original comment? Is that possible? Yeah, I will.

  • @viridismonasteriense I've been thinking about it. I guess this means that the only adventures that didn't really happen were the Doctor's encounters with the cracks. Which leaves the Angel two-parter something to be debatable. But they must have remembered it. But this was in River's past, and she remembered the universe being rebooted, and soon had an adventure when the cracks wer---aah my head. I think I've reached the point where I just can't do anything but enjoy the series :L

  • @MrFitzonic Yeah, it's weird. The universe came into being because the old atoms from the old universe inside the Pandorica were spread via the TARDIS explosion into every timezone in existence, recreating the big bang and everything would I think evolve and come into being naturally like it used to, following the lines of the old universe, the same pattern. But the Doctor told Amy to remember. Through her Rory returned, the real him, and through her the universe must've returned. But how much?

  • @MrFitzonic "Amy's Choice" foreshadowed this. Did it really happen? Or was it all just a dream? (Since the cracks never happened, except they did) And it might've even foreshadowed River's birth (the baby) and Rory's death. River's destined to kill a very good man, and he's the best one we know. He's even better than the Doctor. As the Doctor himself said: "Good men don't need rules. And this isn't a good time to find out why I have so many."

  • 0:33 Sonic shouldn't have gone off Karens finger slipped! LOL

  • i wear a fez now, fezzes are cool. :)

  • 2:14 bad face!
