I was simply referring to European airplane manufacturers, particularly Airbus. I can't argue that when it comes to cars, fashion, and architecture, Europeans trump Americans in almost every category.
america is good at starting wars i fly a boeing 737-400 and prefer them better from the airbus A320 for one reason i get a nice sterring wheel if thats what you want to call it instead of a atari joystick i feel i have a little more control on a boeing sorry :/
Did you fly a A320? Do you prefer a uncomfy yoke between your legs which takes whole space or a roomy high-tech, almost paperless flyby wire glass cockpit which isnt affected from electronic devices.
again its not about the pilots confort but safety fly by wires sure are nice but i tried them and i personaly have more control on a flight stick im sorry boeing all the way

Hardebastard - Concorde was nothing more than a flying gin palace for the obscenely rich. It was bloody tragic that the only one to crash was a chartered one, carrying people who must have saved up for years to pay the fare.
i was the first to see it land when it was flown to london heathrow on the 18th of may 2006. 14 security staff including i had to guard it for 14hrs. was awsome.
what is all the fuss is about with this A380? just another jumbo jet imo. its not flying faster, higher or further than any other passenger plane or breaking new ground with cutting edge technology. when did you last heard some1 rave about a oil tanker? big isn't always better. on the other hand Concorde is by far a more impressive plane. it achieve something that deem not possible at its time.
itz got advanced technology tat even its predecessor A320 n even planes lik 747 dont hv....the plane can steer,take off and land by itself with the autopilot switched off and the pilot can jus sit back and relax....at the same time i do luv the concorde...i flew in it frm JFK to Heathrow on itz last flight!!
You r WRONG! The a380 cannot fly itself, that's y a380 captains get paid $200,000+ per year. a lot of settings and parameters still need to be entered by pilots using keyboard n track ball. but it is true that the a/c is almost fool proof but almost all planes with glass cockpit do anyway. The a380 uses new but off the shelf technologies to keep costs low.
I'm sure you're looking forward to flying a 787 dreamliner, once one actually gets made.
