@ryuxdragonx it wasn't a free card. Miz was afraid of a set on the flop when he got called. he went aggressive flop and chickened out on the turn

@ryuxdragonx agreed. i just think Miz sold himself too much that the other guy had a set on the flop. the other guy is probably a tight player and caught Miz off guard when he was called on the flop. either way, a bet was needed on the turn. i just don't think he was ever trying to slow play the pair of ace.

@golfmaniac007 Now that I watch it again, there was also a Spade draw. Not that it mattered, but checking against a possible straight draw is risky in that stage. Given the stage of the tournament, I think a value bet would have made Baker throw away his hand. Hmm. Just my opinion and how I would have played it in his position.

@ryuxdragonx no doubt that a bet should have been made on the turn no matter what. my opinion is that Miz sold himself that the opponent possibly called with a set on the flop and he just wanted to make it cheap as possible to call on the river just in case his read was off. my take is that Miz was playing with scared chips on this hand cause he wasn't definite as to what the internet whiz guy called on the flop for.
