Yea, on your screen you become much taller and have more health and can move fast as hell, but not as fast as the runner. To become queen you have to get so many kills in a row, the default of kills I think is like 5 or 6, but the administrator can change the number and can turn it on or off. You can even turn the alien life cycle on and start off as a facehugger and work your way up.
