its actually not fake, the bear was trained and the while the bear was being used as a diversion, the trainer got in the car and he threw all the things out of the car (obviously it wasn't the bear). He threw the things out of the car so that the people wouldn't freeze to death. You can see that it was a trained bear because when he saw them in the tree he didn't try and attack. He was very mellow. This may not happen in the U.S. but it's entirely possible in Russia.
