A true 8 finger tap, 4 notes per hand, 1 per finger-a lot of guys on youtube don't understand the difference between tapping musical pieces with all 8 fingers and an actual 8 finger tap sequence.

Clearly you won't be giving any guitar lessons any time soon. You can do an 8 finger chromatic tap on just one string or an 8 finger tapped arpeggio on anywhere from 3 to 6 strings, more if you have them. Only thing I challenge are guys that played a tapped piece then say it was an 8 finger tape because the entire piece used 8 fingers to play, pure nonsense. In other words, you're a fucking moron.

I don't see what you're on about with the string confusion, I never mentioned strings and if you notice the 8 finger tap he does, it's chromatic and uses multiple fingers on one string lol. Since it's a tap, you ascend/descend so it doesn't matter how my fingers use the same string.
