  • call your MP let them know you want the right to carry. make it and election issue .

  • @firstligmo you are totally ignorant to the fact that firearms are not made have the soul purpose to kill people, im a legel gun owner and have never shot anyone or even though about it, think before you speak.

  • dont like that you compare with knifes. Knifes is a known tool for many uses. Guns are made to kill and hurt people thats their purpose. But people should have the right to own guns, after criminal checks and such things. And also often there is no such a thing as good and bad guys. Its just different moral and circumstances. I bet that if I fucked you´re wife you would like to kill me. Does that makes you a BAD guy??

  • The news loves to report on guns, The never talk about knifes and such. Canadian gun laws are a joke ond were done by clowns

  • @Mrbeanutube Amen brother, can't understand why a glock 21 with ballistics well short of a 30-06 are illegal to fire at a private range (backyard) where I'm from. Registration is BS, The way we deal with restricted firearms is BS and us not having full auto's are BS. I've gone through police foundations (being taught by retired Windsor police officers in Ontario) stabbings are more prevalent than gunshot wounds. LETS BAN KNIVES! *Rolls eyes* LOL

  • well at least we dont have to worry about layton anymore lol that dirty cocksucker

  • Citizens should be allowed ONLY to carry handguns ONLY FOR PROTECTION......AGAIN, DO NOT THINK YOU SHOULD CARRY A RIFLE ON THE STREETS OF TORONTO OR SOMEWHERE CAUSE I AM SURE 100% people will use them for street fight and road battles which will really prove much more dangerous as gangs will mug people easily!!!

  • This guy has no conception of what rights are. Something is a "right" only if it is recognized and protected by Canadian law. For example, the right of all Canadians to freedom of religion exists because it is recognized and protected by the Charter. There is NO right to own firearms in Canada. This right exists in the United States because it has been entrenched in their constitution. Don't get me wrong, I have no issue with people owning guns, but it's totally erroneous to say its a right

  • @kosherporkface

So North Koreans human rights are not being violated then because the state has no "legislative" protection for them ?

  • @1992bfitz

Of course North Koreans have rights that are being violated. Fundamental human rights are assured by international law, such as in the UN Charter for example. My point was that rights must have a legal basis in order to have any meaning. The so-called right to guns in Canada is meaningless because the state doesn't recognize it and is under no obligation to grant it. In the US this right is assured by the Constitution, which makes it like a contract the state must honour.

  • @kosherporkface perhaps he only meant that it should be a right

  • @jonny15dk "No right to own Guns = No Protection against thefts and murderers." I don't buy this, because although guns might have their upsides, cops clearly count as protection. Additionally, having guns around the house could also be really dangerous. My newfound stance against excessive gun control is simply because of a lack of evidence linking it to a decrease in crime.

  • @MomSaysImCool having guns around no matter what is not dangerous! It takes a human to make it dangerous whether that be him/her leaving it loaded and in front of children or loading a gun and shooting people! the gun itself does not do anything! It's the people behind them! Gun Control is dumb! That's all!

  • @MomSaysImCool You took what I said out of context.

  • Comment removed

  • No dear... You are not a bit Conservative on this one. YOU USE THAT BRAIN OF YOURS THE GOOD LORD GAVE YOU AND YOU SEE THROUGH THE FILTHY PUBLIC RELATIONS TACTIC OF DIVERSIONARY VICTIMIZATION SO THAT GOOD CITIZENS FIGHT WITH GOOD CITIZENS, INSTEAD OF FOCUS ON THE REAL CRIMINALS, WHICH THE POLITICIANS AND POLICE ARE AS MUCH SCARED OF AS WE ARE.

It's called a political "wedge-issue", and it serves its purpose.

And all the while, career criminals continue their rampage

  • In Canada gun rights is not an automatic right. Live in the US if you want this right- it's even written into their constitution, and live happily ever after.

It's like being a driver; it's a privilege not a right. In the real world your ad hoc arguments are so stupid that it's beyond responding to because most critical thinking folk won't bother with it. Rape, pillage and burn-how neurotic & simplistic world view.

If guns made societies safer the US would be the safest country on the planet.

  • "If guns made societies safer the US would be the safest country on the planet."

You do know that, per capita, Canada has as many gun owners as the US, right?

Of course a twit like you didn't...

    Idiot interpretation there.

    "It's like being a driver; it's a privilege not a right."

    Says who? YOU???

Fair enough.. Then access to medicine which would be the difference between saving or killing your one year old child is a privilege not a right. BECAUSE I SAID SO!!!

    FOOL!

  • @SLAVESweARE "Then access to medicine which would be the difference between saving or killing your one year old child is a privilege not a right. BECAUSE I SAID SO!!!"

Health care in the country where I'm living is a right. The right to bear arms isn't. What is your argument?

It's like you think all laws work against you. There are laws for practical reasons, not some far fetched sinister plan. Seems most gun owners think they are out to be black listed or something. Don't be so reactionary.

  • @edvvard1

"Health care in the country where I'm living is a right. The right to bear arms isn't. What is your argument?"

And who exactly makes these laws, genius? And how is it that you take it to mean that laws have been static throughout our history?

Was Health care a right during Confederation?

Were gun laws as strict and controlling in 1867 as they are today?

Were you aware that up until 1935, it was legal to sell a pistol to anyone under 16?

    I didnt think so, ignoramous

  • @edvvard1

Canada DOES INDEED have as many gun owners per capita as the U.S.

This is basic knowledge, except where you come from.

We don't include only registered guns in this statistic, you twit.

Any law enforcement agency in every province will tell you that MILLIONS OF GUNS MANUFACTURED IN CANADA AND IMPORTED ARE UNACCOUNTED FOR...

Many citizens actually DO NOT register their guns, including police officers in their private life...

You are so myopic its pathetic.

  • @edvvard1

And you label ME as guilty of jumping to assumptions?

    YOUR WORDS:

"Seems most gun owners think they are out to be black listed or something"

"History will view gun lovers as not peace loving folk."

    Reeeeealy?

Snap yourself back into wakefulness, you twit.

I have a thousand concerns u jerk... From gun laws to pop with aspartame being sold in school cafeterias.

It is jerks like YOU who seem to think that we spend every waking minute concerned with just the one topic.

  • @edvvard1

I’m always amazed me at people like yourself who think they can end up with some planned, perfect society. And in the process of doing so, people like you start thinking about other good human beings as disposable, and arguing that its worth it in the long run because we will have heaven on earth.

You think you re so clever with your opinions, but you haven’t thought it through…

  • @edvvard1

Im a father of 3 kids, all under the age of 4.

I’ve been married 10 years to a wonderful woman. Would you believe that, between the two of us, we don’t so much as have a single traffic ticket? We have no criminal record, both work full time, and file our taxes every year.

So smart asses like you waste their personal time attacking good people, law abiding people, ( remember your comment about “History will view gun lovers as not peace loving folk”?).

  • @edvvard1

And throughout all this, REAL CRIMINALS are sticking guns in peoples faces and asking them to empty the contents of their pockets or purses.

REAL CRIMINALS are sticking guns in people’s faces and asking them to disrobe as they prepare to rape them.

But sheep like you are fine, because the Po-lie-ticians and corrupt police are doing the best they can, huh? Attacking the good law abiding citizens, and allowing the criminals to continue their reign.

  • About 60 % of all criminals sent to Canada’s provincial and federal prisons every year - have been in jail before.

Which means they will be back again.

But let’s not do anything about those bad people, huh?

Lets allow the Po-lie-ticians to set the propaganda tactic of diversionary victimization of the public, so good people like edvvard1 can attack good people like SLAVESweARE, so that they may keep their eyes on the great Oz, and pay no attention to the men behind the curtain.

  • Jack Layton is dead. So let's buy guns in Canada now!

  • Please, your guns dont protect shite. The govt can come get you anytime they want gun or no gun. Register your gun like you regster your car, your marriage, your births, your deaths. Its only the paranoid delusional who believes it makes any difference to their "freedom". Own whatever gun is legally allowed, but dont spew crap.

  • @jack1059

Jack.........you really do not have a clue do you. There is ZERO requirment to register your car.. As to your marriage? Why is that exactly? Your kids? Same thing WHY!

  • @jack1059

I agree that we are powerless against the state as individuals… But a million well armed? 10 million?

These po (LIE )ticians use our own tax-collected money to disassociate us from freedoms we once had.

You say we register cars, so why not guns?

But ask yourself --- is ownership of an unregistered car a criminal offense?

But with a stroke of a pen, unregistered guns are?

And 3 million good, decent citizens are criminals, because the government said so???

  • History is replete with such general gun law interdictions used against: southern blacks, Italians, commies, and, of course, against whole populations by every tyranny in history.

Perhaps instead of banning guns, we should ban this foolish and costly government scheme to convince us of a false view of what causes crime.

They want to convince us that by regulating the innocent masses, everyone will someday be good, and then there will be no criminals.

    Foolish lies and propaganda

  • No way buddy...

This is yet another scheme of the elite to is to avoid performing basic functions like stopping real crime and to think up purely fictitious functions that will raise revenue, enhance the power of the police/bureaucrats, and give the illusion that the state is doing its job.

This is about the elite trashing many ancient freedoms and rights. They criminalize not an act, but mere possession and passivity, to group us with those people who collect child porn.

  • Do you realize that Bill C-68 allows all Canadian firearms to effectively become the property of the State?

The Bill says you cannot sell, dispose of, gift, or transfer a gun, even to an heir in your will. When you die it will be seized by the State, without compensation.

It legalizes the State taking private property without compensation...

The Bill allows armed police to enter private homes and businesses to search without warrant and confiscate without compensation.

    This is OK??

  • @SLAVESweARE I'm ok with law enforcement retiring a gun if the only reason it's being handed down is just for the sake of it being handed down. The less firearms in this world the better. I don't care if you label me a commie or socialist. History will view gun lovers as not peace loving folk. In this time and place (Canada) you don't need a gun to keep the peace. Anyway your arguments are ass-backwards. Nobody is saying it's guns which are the cause of crimes. Idiot interpretation there.

  • WOW!

First and foremost, you state-loving twit, it most certainly IS my right as a human being to protect myself and my family as I see fit, and No damn country or idiot fascist like you is gonna tell me what rights I do or don't have, so long as I have not infringed on any other citizens well being.

"The less firearms in this world the better."

Sure.. and the less penises in the world, the less rapes, huh?

    So lets castrate every male!

And no hands, no stealing, right?

    SHEEP!

  • Seems to me that you are all too willing to acquiesce to the demands and laws of the state... Fine!

But do not go all Mussolini on me and suggest that what the supreme court says must be believed by all.

These are the same supreme courts which felt women were once a lesser human being, or that corporations are individuals...

And no.. you are not a commie or socialist... You are a believer that the state has the ability and desire to make everyone good... YOU ARE AN IDIOT!

  • @SLAVESweARE The way you present an argument is like a petulant name calling child. Ah, no there are many more gun owners per capita in the US than any other country on the planet. It's not fascist to think that less weapons make a safer world. Most countries in the world have gun laws for a logical reason. Even in Switzerland where (ideally) every household has a gun, but it comes with registration and other sane strict safety measures. Don't go throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

  • @edvvard1 I just want to jump in here for a moment and ask, do you drive a car?

I assume the answer is yes. Car accidents kill by far more people than PEOPLE with guns. guns don't kill anyone. just like cars don't. so if cars are not outlawed then why have guns that are outlawed. the problem is psychotic people not psychotic objects. yes there should be rules about not leaving a loaded gun in front of a toddler but these are common sense things that almost all people will do without a law.

  • @MrByronodmon so punish the few that break the obvious rules but don't weaken the entire (otherwise smart i.e. healthcare) society by restricting the peoples rights. yes it is a right to protect yourself. and it's not just that. do you believe that you should be allowed the right to play hockey? Yes! a lot of people are injured by hockey yet it continues. the same should happen for the sport of shooting you should be allowed to go out and shoot just for fun if you want that is a real reason to

  • @MrByronodmon please look at the rest i wrote but accidentally posted to myself! Laws shouldn't be restrictive to a majority they should be a tool to free people of problems that occur in society. guns are not in themselves a problem it's people that are the problem and you can't just control everyone. buy a damn gun and shoot it and i bet you will change your mind about these laws!

  • @SLAVESweARE And one more thing... to extrapolate that I agree with everything a supreme court/state has ever decided upon is, in itself, a pretty idiotic assumption. Learn how to have a decent logical discussion. Look up 'ad hominems'

  • I think that you're expecting me to engage you in serious discussion, as I did with others on this page.

    NO SUCH LUCK FRIEND:)

The others, while disagreeing with me, were at least genuine.

You don't fool me, and your arguments clearly show a lack of depth regarding this topic.

A twit with strong opinions on a topic he has no first-hand knowledge of...

Quick! Without accessing Google, name me Canada's largest gun manufacturer...

    Yeah, I thought so.

    You're a phony.

    And a sheep

  • 1977 a Libyan pilot defected by flying to Egypt.1981 A pilot flying a MiG-23 defected from Libya to Greece. There were a number of defections to Egypt in 1987. First on March 2, a crew of five defected in a C-130.Then on March 29, three officers defected on a CH-47 Chinook, while finally on July 16 three more officers defected.1992 A pilot flying a MiG-23 defected from Libya to Crete, Greece. Colonel Ali al-Rabiti is one of the pilots who DEFECTED to Malta!

  • Keep drinking the kool-aid, boy

    Nice n slow now

First, you assert that the rebels acquired all these fancy modern weapons with the help of military "professionals" who defected, and now you're talking about some events in 1977, 81,87,92...

Gotta love how you can come across the names of Libyan military defectors so quickly, yet choose to ignore all the al-Queda,Iraqi and other non-Libyan foreign names associated with the Libyan "rebel" movement.

Its called cherry-picking u bore me

  • I can go out right now and buy a sword over the counter that would cut any man in half with one swing. And the point being is that if someone wants to commit murder their going to find a way to do it with or without a gun. The law abiding citizen shouldn’t have to be treated like a criminal for owning or wanting to own firearms.

  • I agree I Would rather get shot than stabbed.

  • The people of Lybia got rid of Moammar Kadafi and are now free from tyranny because they had the Guts and got their hands on guns!

  • The people of Libya watched as foreigners, with the help of the west, infiltrated the eastern part of Libya and WERE GIVEN GUNS BY THE WEST and got rid of Moammar Kadafi and are now free from free food, free hospitals, free schools, free housing and free education.

They will now become a debtor nation and Libyans who have not even been born yet will already owe thousands a head when born.

Sorry, I have a big problem sometimes... I prefer truth over bullshit by idiots who are brainwashed

  • @SLAVESweARE Oh I see.. the so called rebels are really just terrorists supported by the west........

and all this was just a plan to control libyan oil because Gadaffi (great guy that he was) wouldnt sell it to europe and USA cheaply enough ?

    Anyway, Lybia was a shit-hole presided over by a maniac...and I couldn't give a rats ass!

  • @Laila9990

You are such a fool.... but you are American, so I wouldn't expect anything less...

In 2006,The United States quietly removed Libya off their "terrorist list".

In 2009, Senators McCain Lieberman visited with Gaddafii and his sons and spoke of, among other things, selling weapons to Libya, both lethal and non-lethal. During that visit, McCain also revealed that the United States was training officers in Gaddafi’s army.

  • As a silly ass American. I am also certain that you were not aware of a story not much covered in the United Mistakes of America about Libya hiring a French firm to electronically detect people moving through Libya's southern desert and to monitor traffic along its coastline.

WOW! For a "maniac" Libyan leader, he sure had a lot of cooperation with the very same countries which would soon kill him...

Almost like he was being set up, huh?

  • @Laila9990

Google this name, you silly ass American: Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi...

As I am sure you are as lazy as most other Americans, please allow me to do the work for you.

Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi was but just one Libyan rebel leader who admitted that al-Qaeda was part of the Libyan rebel group.

Abdel Hakim Belhadj was another Libyan rebel leader with close ties to al-Qaeda.

    WOW!

So its ok when the U.S works with al-Qaeda, just not any OTHER country...

    America is sick

  • Gadaffi has had total control of every square inch of Libya when Barack Obama was still only 8 years old...

And now we are supposed to believe that suddenly, out of the blue, after 40+ years, Libyan "rebels" suddenly, magically came across very expensive German issued Heckler & Koch G36 assault rifles? Or Qatari mortars? Or AK-100s?Or anti-tank missiles, and rocket launchers?

I guess the rebels found all these weapons lying under a rock, huh? And taught themselves how to use them too, huh?

  • @SLAVESweARE Gadhafi had weaponry bought from Europe and the former Soviet Union during his four decades in power.Tanks, helicopters, war planes, anti-aircraft weapons, rocket launchers, mines, mortars, anti-tank missiles and a variety of machine guns and armoured vehicles. The rebels, mainly young men who did compulsory weapons training as teenagers, and military professionals who defected, were able to take over some of these weapons in eastern Libya. FYI. I'm not an American dumbass.

  • No... Actually, you are a genius as all Americans think they are.

Suddenly, you are an expert on everything Libya, huh?

After 40+ years in power, you couldn't name me a single other politician in Gadaffis regime without accessing Google, but you are an expert, huh?

You couldn't mention a 3rd Libyan city, outside of Tripoli and Benghazi without accessing Google, but you are an expert, huh?

Without Google, you couldnt tell me if Libya is primarily Shia or Sunni, but you are expert, huh?

  • Yes, 40+ years as a dictator, and suddenly some rag-tag rebels were able to overthrow Gadhaffi...

    Military professionals who defected,huh?

    NAME ME ONE? JUST ONE?

Not in the European press or the Russian press or the Asian Press was there a mention of military professionals who defected, nor is there a single iota of evidence to back up this bullshit of yours, but what else should we expect from Americans?

First it was WMD's that didnt exist, now its military professionals who defected...

  • @SLAVESweARE I can name two.....Two Libyan Air Force fighter pilots defected (both colonels) took off from a base near Tripoli and flew their jets to Malta where they told authorities they wanted political asylum after being ordered to bomb protesters! I know this not only from the news but I saw it with my own eyes when I was on holiday in Malta. You need to be less insulting and get a handle on your emotions.

  • You were suggesting that Military professionals defected and partook in the fighting against Gadhaffi, so don't play your silly ass games here...

I asked you how a rag-tag group of poor, hungry rebels learned to fly helicopters and aircraft.

I trained with assault rifles in the Canadian military and we still had difficulty with targets after 1 year of training, but suddenly these poor starving "rebels" became expert marksmen with 2 days training, huh?

You know shit, and you still lie

  • @SLAVESweARE You had problems after a year? Seriously? crap..........I can take a total newbie and have them on target at 300m in a few days.

  • @EESASTORM

So you can teach sight alignment in just days, huh? WOW! You are so fortunate that your “students” have Clark Kent eyesight!

So in just days, you can teach a "newbie" to to hold the pistol really still in just days, huh?WOW! They must eat spinach for breakfast!

So in just days you can teach some hobo how to press the trigger without ANY tightening of his grip finger or tensing of the hand, huh? WOW!

See, I was talking about REAL guns, friend, not Call of Duty.

    Cheers:)

  • Continue your world traveling holidays in Malta and the rest of the world, and leave the analysis for people who actually do their homework.

Fancy that you did not touch my other questions... Perhaps there is still a minute amount of honesty in you at least... or perhaps you will still attempt to answer with answers which you pull out of your arse...

Either way, I pray that most out there are a tad more critical with whose stories they accept at face value.

U.S.A is morally bankrupt and liars

  • Former Soviet Union and European weapons, huh?

There are countless photos and video showing, for example, Libyan rebels using German Heckler & Koch G36 assault rifles.

Germany swears that they did no trades with Gadhaffi, and there is no evidence of such dealings either.

These are some of the most expensive rifles around, and I'm sure they just fell from the sky, huh?

You are full of shit, buddy...

Instead of learning the truth on your own, you'll just find whatever suits your story u liar

  • Quick!.... Without accessing Google, name the the dictators in Yemen and Bahrain who are also killing and imprisoning protesters/demonstrators who want a change from dictators, much like your supposed Libyan "rebels" did.

    Libya's population is 6 million...Yemen's is 24 million....

Why don't you know anything about THESE nations? They too have a large majority who want an end to dictatorship... But your America does nothing, and your media says nothing, and as a result, YOU KNOW NOTHING!

    SHEEP

  • Comment removed

  • The most STUPID comment I ever hear someone say to me if I show them a new gun I just aquired is "who are you going to shoot?",need I say more?

  • Theres no point to ban firearms, if a criminal wants to shoot someone, theyre likely going to obtain an illegal gun anways. Banning them from the good folks doesnt help.

  • People will always make bad, foolish choices when they don't really understand what all of the choices really mean. People who have an irrational fear of guns automatically assume it would be better for everyone if there were no guns ... but they fail to realize that guns are used more often to STOP crime than to commit crime. When you ban guns, you make it easier for criminals to commit crimes! It's the exact opposite effect than the one you want. It's a foolish choice based on fear.

  • lololololololololol...1 up for goof control eh

  • eroded......

  • guns dont kill people people kill people

guns are only a tool the person who fired it is the weapon.

  • Gun control is not about the guns...its about control

if Guns ever got outlawed....I'd become an outlaw

  • It's not about "making sense" - liberals only care about "feeling good about themselves". Gun control is "feel good" legislation that has little real world impact on crime but it makes the politicians "look good". People have been brainwashed into believing the government will protect them. The police are the LAST line of defense - not the first. When you abdicate your right to self defense - you are giving up the natural right to self preservation. That's not "progress". lol!!

  • @redlegagent

Lets call a spade a spade here. Conservatives are just as culpable in gun control as any other party in Canada.

  • wise man:))

  • there's no concealed carry in canada

  • @cZiebenhaus Yes there is. You can apply for an ATC (Authorization To Carry) at your nearest RCMP office, 99.9% of time you will be turned down though.

  • @cZiebenhaus technically, there is, it's called a "Authorization To Carry" or a ATC, it effectively allows you to carry a non-prohibited pistol on you at all times, concealed or open(they prefer you to conceal carry to lessen the chance of false police reports due to people seeing you with the gun). the only problem is that: 1. they're nearly impossible to acquire, you need a really good reason to acquire one and 2. your only allowed to request one ONCE in your whole life, once your denied...

  • @cZiebenhaus you're denied for life.

  • @cZiebenhaus There is but its a one in a million chance that anyone will ever receive one

  • This guy is brilliant, if you dont agree with what he is saying, you need to take a serious look at the way the world works, and then yourself.

  • when a population has its guns taken away it is no longer a governed nation but a ruled one.

  • @sewarforlife so true

  • i hope to "open carry" someday here in canada. police the police. they are getting out of control.

  • @krzfly why?

  • @Yakiller69 protection and safety.

  • @krzfly can you not just carry a concealed gun? I'm sorry if im wrong, since im not yet an owner i dont keep up to date on these things.

  • @Yakiller69 what's there to conceal? the pussification of people these days make them scared little lemmings at the sight of a gun. it's just a gun...? anything wrong? it people that kill people! i'd open carry to let people know that i'm packing self-protection and will help to protect others.

but i do believe that safety courses and training for proper carrying is mandatory when owning a firearm.

  • @krzfly I agree with the safety courses and training and all. But i personally am wary of people carrying firearms because if they wanted to kill me, there's a good chance they can get me before I can close distance and make use of my martial arts.

  • @Yakiller69 He can, most likely though in Canada it is illegal. If he has ATC (which is virtually impossible to get due to the gun control nazis), he can according to their laws. In the US most States are RTC with varying standards, a few have May-Issue (again varying standards depending on the State and Senior LEO [some will deny because of a speeding ticket]), and two are No Carry Authorized.

  • @Yakiller69 BTW when I say RTC, it means you have to get a license but it will be issued unless there is a VALID reason not to issue by law. May Issue, generally means that you have to present a legitmate reason to carry, fall under the guidelines, have the blessing of the Senior LEO, and then they may issue you a license.

  • Gun Control people have their heads completely up their ass

  • hey man i collect shell cases i livw in canada would you please send me some ?

  • 10 people are liberals.

  • very well said

  • im a bit cunfused about what i exactly have to do im 16 and i want to get a gun for just tipical stuff like a shooting range etc ,, if sombody could clerify what exaclty i have to do?

  • @GamersParadice313 Your too young to get a gun here. When your old enough go to the RCMP office or your local range and ask how to go about getting a PAL

  • @TenebrusI07 My dad would buy the gun etc were both going to get our gun liscenses and im in Canada

  • @GamersParadice313 wait until 18 cuz u just cant do that the only way u can shoot with a gun is if u hav an adult using a hunting rifle only . u cannot hav one to u

  • @bluezone28 My dad would own and buy the gun and keep it with him , and we would go to a shooting Range ,, he was in the army also

  • @GamersParadice313 oh then ur father is in rigth to keep gunz from the army but u need to checkout the law cuz even if ur dad is wit u its not legal for u to shoot wit an automatic rifle.depends where u live

  • @bluezone28 nobody said it was automatic....more along the lines of a 22 or somthing? Nothing illigeal lol

  • @GamersParadice313 yeah but still.. ur a little young but it depends wheres u live . i dont remember the name but ur allows to hunt wit a adult if ur 14 + and if u hav the gun safety liscence

  • @bluezone28 im 16 and im in canada BC and this is for Gun ranges For targets No hunting purposes

  • im trying to get my handgun here in Quebec , you have to take a bill 9 course. just to join a just to be able to buy a handgun. i want to start a pertition. i want to be able to have the right to carry. and less red tape.

  • I'm Canadian and think we should be able to carry guns and own any guns we choose to own for self defense. Canada must want to round us up like Hitler did the jews they seem hell bent on disarming us.

  • The right to keep and bear arms is not an american right, it's a human right.

  • @FreedomClause Can't say it any better then That. I am working with a few groups in the US which are helping me understand the US laws regarding CC an OC. I want to start a campaign to regain our lost rights with regards to firearms, to be able tow own just about any one we want and to Carry it wherever we go if we choose

  • Canadian Guns rights........ I am drawing a blank

  • Shooting is like golf, only louder.

  • @pete5668 lol

  • This video cuts off half way ?

  • @GrimAudioAK in canada the ago is 18 to you just have to take a safty course. And register your guns however where getting rid of that soon.

  • After what happens in Vancouver a couple of days ago?!?!

  • The main foundations of every state, new states as well as ancient or composite ones, are good laws and good arms you cannot have good laws without good arms, and where there are good arms, good laws inevitably follow.

    Niccolo Machiavelli

  • " Guns are good, did you know that Jesus and Moses used guns to conquer the Romans? o: " -Family Guy.

And on a serious note, the whole gun control thing only makes it more of a pain in the ass to get a hold of a gun ... kind of like banning marijuana in New York.

  • Your right's end where another's begin.

why is this always in question!?

  • It's really scary, but technically, the government COULD simply decide to take our legally owned firearms away. In Canada, we don't have ANY "gun rights". The government, Liberal or Conservative, looks at gun ownership in Canada as a privilege, one that can be taken away for any individual for any reason.

  • this guy reminds me of the crazy guy from the far cry 3 trailer. im scared hes just going shot me for no reason

  • Gun rights? Canadian's no longer have any.

  • @outlawracer2229 Well lets work to change that, or do ya want to be a sheep for the rest of your life

  • @12RogueWarrior I'm not Canadian.

  • I am glad that you understand, and pointed out that "Gun Control" in it's foundations is just basic control over people from the government.

  • We love our neighbors to the north! Fight back! Your representatives work for YOU!

  • @iwannarock58 Hell ya they do. My MP will be getting emails on this issue until all the laws a killed (pun intended)

  • Damn straight! We Canadians need guns, what the liberals seem to think is if you touch a gun it somehow mind controls you to kill innocences, bullshit! And to the people thinking "if you have a gun you'll kill someone!" you're right! If I'm walking down the street and I notice a guy raping or trying to kill someone you can bet your ass I'll put a few bullets in him!

  • eliminating guns would just cause more problems. There will always be crimes with firearms wether you like it or not.

  • everyone who is mentally competent and has no prior convictions has the right to own or not own a firearm. those who try to infringe upon this right are morally wrong in their conduct and they also use propaganda and emotional testimony, COMPLETELY ABSENT OF FACTUAL EVIDENCE, to further their twisted agendas. i may sound like a conspiracy nut but...its a sad truth.

  • I dont like the Harper government. I dont like Liberals either. Canadian gun laws are ridiculous, they took all those peoples guns even though they were not criminals.

  • anyone person who decides to own a gun is willing to kill something!

  • and yet u r allowed automatic rifle's in new zealand...welcome 2 nazi canada.

  • if ya dont like guns DONT own one but dont let stupid assholes tell ya what u can own!!

  • Im canadian and id love an automatic weapon, but sadly I cant im getting my pol I belive and at 18 I can get my pal.

  • I Would love to be able to have the right to take out an Ar 15, or some other "assault" rifle (as what some people call them) out in my back yark and shoot at some targets, if i was going to shoot someone i would just buy one illegal, and shoot the person, not go thought the time and aggravation on legally buying a Weapon and then shooting the person

  • I strongly AGREE. The bad guys buy them illegally and we the citizens die WTF screw the Canadian government makes me hate being Canadian and other things

  • it gets me wondering what kind of people we have leading canada if they are willing to put our lives (all Canadians) at risk to get into office.

  • @hazyanlazy123 well they are all leftard idiots, they for the most part hate guns

  • This guy is so logical.

  • i feel very sorry for the people of canada!ban the pen for spelling the word wrong!fucking idiots!gun control doesn`t work!

  • Some people wouldn't recognize common sense if it ran them over on the 401. This guy is great.

  • In regards to the knife vs gun argument, well, I don't think it's that simple. Guns are are too easy to use, and too hard to protect yourself from. That's what makes them so dangerous. I'd rather face a crazy with a knife then a crazy with a gun, personally. I'd have a better chance.

  • @excentricity ya but if you where carrying a gun then your odds are back in your favour.

  • gun owners unite!!!

  • My guns only have to enemies, Rust, and Politicians.

  • @ryanroflcopter I own a glock so I only worry about the politicians ;)

  • you know how you tell the deliverance between the slaves and masters in a society , the slaves have no weapons , give them time , machetes and axes will be illegal

  • you know how you tell the deliverance between the slaves and masters in a society , the slaves have no weapons , give them time , machetes and axes will be illegal

  • I am apauled at all the laws of defense in Canada even though I love this countrywe need to be able to at least protect ourselves... If someone breaks into your home beats up your wife and kills your dog and then start to run away, if you follow them and tackle them even just to hold them until the police arrives, you are treated as a criminal and can be charged with assault. Canadiens are great but we have to stick up for our selves. The point of view from a 15 year old

  • me too

  • First of all, I dont think there are any gun rights in Canada, its more of a privilege, like driving.

So why are we arguing for it when its not even a right to begin with?

  • @95ellington because 60 percent of canadians are against the long gun registry.

  • @95ellington

In the Canadian Constitution, put there by the British North America Act is the right to bear firearms in defense of ones self and property.

  • @Corran2015 I cant find it, do u have a link?

  • @95ellington you idiot, we do have the right to bear arms in Canada, jesus no wonder, this issue is so out of hand when people done even know the basic facts!

  • @zazszdzfzgzhzjzkzlzx Show me the law, give me a link that says we have the right to bear arms, then I believe you.

  • @95ellington h t t p : / / w w w . r k b a . c a / (youll have to type it in without the spaces, obviously) and BTW the fact that you dont not know that Canadians have the right to bear arms, is living proof of the governments effort to disarm the Canadian population, its a violation of our rights, we need to stop it!

  • Firearms Act, 1995 For the most part, Canadians are not allowed to carry a hidden weapon in public unless they are a trained peace officer (police officer). Members of the Canadian Forces can only carry and use their weapons in public during war time or for special ceremonies. The public can possess a registered firearm and carry them from their residence to a place authorized to use and store the firearm.

  • Guns don't kill people........people do

  • Taking the guns away from law abiding people, and want the courts to be soft on criminals is the Liberal way. 3 criminals were fire bombing this mans house by mistake, the man in order to protect his family and property, went to his gun safe and got a rifle and fired at the 3 criminals. I don't know if he hit any of them, but the police has charged him with discharging a fire arm and attempted murder. We can't defend our selves in Canada, it's jail time if we do..

  • i have one question. how do we fight mister mayor miller, and how do we get the gov to allow citizens to carry handguns for protection wile hiking? i am an avid outdoors men but i am not a guide and i don't own a prospect somewhere... this doesn't make sense. i personally believe that because times have changed and a lot of the population don't understand firearms any longer and therefore are afraid of what they do not know. i appreciate what you have to say. keep up the good work.

  • Conceal and carry should be lawful for Canadian citizens who do not have criminal backgrounds and meet the existing and extensive requirements of firearms ownership. Gun registries do nothing but tax law abiding tax paying citizens. Criminals don't own guns legally! We should look closely at Vermont, where conceal and carry is permitted and consequently has one of the lowest violent crime rates in the US. Lets vote out the drama queens and get back to a government that cares about its citizens!

  • hjfgfgyutf

  • If someone comes into my home, and I do not have the right to defend my property and my family, I will not abide by that law. I'm a Canadian, and that just disarms the citizen and equal force protects the criminal. If you didn't threaten my property or family, then I wouldn't have to use my .303 on you. I'd rather defend myself in court then from an urn.

  • I want my Canadian friends to be able to defend themselves with a firearm.

  • @TakeDetour Self defense is a human right, yet the Canadian government makes any tool of self-defense illegal. Amen brother.

  • @TakeDetour

I would just like to be able to defend myself. Yes I am Canadian

  • @TakeDetour

but theres almost no crime here
