@pharmfarm59538 Golden left the group in 1987 due to disputes with the other band members over his appearance and lifestyle as well as their anger over a simultaneous solo career he was pursuing outside the band. He ultimately filed a $40 million lawsuit against the other Oaks that was settled out of court. He was replaced by the Oaks' longtime guitarist Steve Sanders. Golden returned to the band when Sanders was pushed out in 1995 due to personal problems.
