@NimaSun the Arabs did play a big role in wiping out many cultures and civilization in their conquest of middle east. however the people that are primarily responsible for the Assyrian decline are the Mongol and the temurids. they wiped our entire Assyrian populations when they invaded Iraq. the Turks also plaid a big role in wiping out Assyrian in Anatolia. the reason is always Christianity of course.

Also, Assyrian language, does it belong to a semitic group like Hebrew and Arabic? I should research all of this, I think it's too interesting and too great and I don't know any of it..I did see an exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art - and it was all about a glorious civilization! Yes , it belongs to a semitic languages, it was the first semitic language, but Assyrians also spoke ancient Akkadian which later got mixed with Aramaic(Neo Assyrian language) we still use ancient Akkadian words in modern assyrian language especialy in eastern Aramaic dialect.Thousands of arabic words came from Aramaic langauge, even the arabic alphabet derived from the Aramaic script, Assyrians invented the arabic alphabet so arabs could write the Quran , peace.

I heard that the Assyrian Church was THE first organized church of all existing.. I'm very concerned that the Armenians are spreading wrong information about their church being the first church and them (Armenians) being first Christian nation on Earth. I know that isn't true, but if you tell some neo-fascist Armenians on YouTube that that is one of their lies, they get so worked up and pissed off, like you're taking away their heritage..But among themselves, they do know Assyrians were first..

Yes true but our Armenian brothers always deny this fact. St. Thomas the apostle christianized Assyrians first and our king Abgar Okoma carried out missionaries to Armenia and he established a religious Assyrian kingdom in Urhai (modern day edessa) in south east of turkey and he dissmentled the political kingdom after he believed in Jesus Christ when he didn't even see him, peace.

Yes they do, we invented the alphabets , did you forget that? :) you can go to Google and search for Assyrian alphabets, hebrew is somewhat similar to ours but ours is richer in grammmar, peace.

You're right, it sounds clean but there is still a very distinct accent.

Actualy more than that, the early Assyrian marched into the black sea region and from their, they moved to central Europe and settled in Germany, so their existence in Georgia is more than 2000 years old but ofcourse were hard to be found or assimilated with the native people, for example the Armenians are heavily mixed with the Assyrians especialy after we became christians, peace.
