I do admit I did not realize the number of americans seeking care in other countries was so large. However, from personally speaking to doctors from other countries, I have found they have one thing in common. They usually left countries with universal plans. Also I think Obamas intent was to help the "poor" and "unemployed". Like the stimulus, nice idea. But once the houses get thier fingers into it? It's all special interest and fk everybody in the way. @Dan4157 I agree with your assessment as when my work situation was only as a temp, I never had insurance because it didn't fit into my budget. The other way to look at this is if I get fined, does that mean I'm basically covered either way if I'm injured. What am I getting if I'm paying my forced premium to state or federal govt. The health care mandate is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of and Obama has come across like a moron making up cheap analogies. It is a joke.
