  • Wow your hair is so long! Nice! How did you do your intro?

  • @dportis47 Thanks! I used a master template in Final Cut Pro 7. The music goes pretty well with it.

  • @DJDProductions I been looking for a final cut buddy for a long time! Me and my wife will be moving to Atlanta really soon. We gotta hook up!

  • @dportis47 Yeah we will.

  • wow, ffod looks great. Would love to see you prepare some of the dishes.

  • @whitneysolier1 Thanks! I may attempt this but that might be a task with my mac. Maybe I'll borrow my jobs Flip and do it.

  • Your hair is beautiful!!!! Those dishes look great too! YUMMY! Hubby and I will be moving soon to ATL. Let's hook up!

  • @SPARKWISDOM Thanks. The food is really good! I thought you guys already lived here?

  • @DJDProductions My husband used to live in ATL. I was in Jacksonville, FL (where we currently live)

  • @SPARKWISDOM Oh ok cool.

  • would love to see more vegan dishes. I am trying to transition

  • @workit718 We're just vegetarians but most of the dishes are vegan. I don't buy eggs, milk, or butter, but will occasionally eat something that contains those things. Are you transitioning to be a vegan or vegetarian? I started by cutting out certain meats, and it got to the point where I was tired of eating the same meat that I just stopped eating it all. I don't miss it at all and I think that's the best way to start. Most of the recipes came from the VegetarianTimes website.

  • @DJDProductions Oh yeah and the eggs are actually Tofu and the macaroni and cheese is rice milk and Galaxy Vegan Rice Cheese.

  • @DJDProductions im really just at a place where I want to cut out meats period! I will check out the vegetarian times website i also check out the best of raw food website as well. thanks so much for replying

  • @workit718 Well that's awesome because meat is the root of all health problems. I recently did a 14 day detox/cleanse and I think my body is now better able to digest raw foods. Before I was a vegetarian, to eat raw broccoli, cauliflower, and other raw veggies would tear my stomach up. I just at some raw carrots and brocolli a couple of days ago and it didn't bother me at all. I will check out that best of raw food website too.

  • @DJDProductions thanks so much. I was thinking of doing the master cleanse as well before I started my journey so I guess that is exactly what I will do . and yes even just lettuce has me all messed up lol .

  • @workit718 Wow I wasn't that bad, or so I thought. lol. Yes the cleanse will help get all the toxins, meat residue, and parasites out of your system. Did you know that meat can take years to completely leave your system. Gross. I think I'm going to do a detox every year. I'm also going to do the Heavy Metal and parasite specific cleanse. I used the 14 day Renew Life Organic cleanse. Also I was taking Candida Freedom which regulates the yeast in your body. Candida overgrowth isn't good.

  • @DJDProductions omg god that just sounds horrible.! the more i research the more I learn! a parasite specific cleanse? so mind boggling but totally believable. Its so much that I never knew about my own body and this just blows me away. eeeckkkk! I have my work cut out for me!

  • wow you have a lot of hair for 21 months! I wish I had the discipline to always keep it twisted up (though I have been doing better since I started with the yarn twists). I just love to have my hands in it too much.

Does your twistout stay looking like the picture or does it puff up over time? Just curious.

  • @TheSupasweet Yeah I couldn't believe how long it was either. I think because my hair is so thick and the coils so tight I don't have much of a desire to keep my hands in it without it bring twisted or coiled. I wear the twists for a week and the the twist out lasts for a good week. It will start to puff up at the roots a little towards day 3 if I'm spraying everyday with water. I don't mind it though. Variations of this style works great for me.

  • Great update! Such great growth! :)

  • @mckenzie07oboe Thanks McKenzie!! How's your hair doing? You keeping it moisturized? The winter can be brutal.

  • @DJDProductions yep! I've switched over to cornrows for now as well! :)

  • @mckenzie07oboe That's great!
