on a tramp it looks kinda sideflip 180 but when you do it on skis the axis is a bit changed (because of the steep take-off and the weight of your skis) which makes it looks more "flat"
the first one was more flatspin than the other. the second was more underflippish. try getting them unimverted as possible and if u can with a bow and arrow grab. thats the defenition of steeze. i learned them by throwing a lincoln but turning my shoulders and getting a toe grab
The bow and arrow grab is soo sweet, first time i saw it was in seven sunny days i believe, when Tj Chillir did it in front of the head follow cam. Steeze indeed.
I think your right about the getting them as uninverted as possible.
But do you think that its really possible to do them on a tramnpoline exactly as on skis? Or is the weight of skis and boots deisplacing the CG so that you spin different with skis than without?
Also another thing I noticed while watching real flat5ves is that they seem to take of the kickers slightly off balance to the front, something thats not possible on a trampoline in the same way. =P what do you think?
@ncspliffy nah i used to have flat 5s but i lost them. my neighbors still have them on lock so its defenitly possible. next time they post up an edit with one ill reply with a link. try japan grab 540. just a plain 540 spin and diring the first 180 bring ur leg up for the japan grab and it like kicks you back into flatspin and if you dont untuck, youll stomp it.
@ncspliffy yes, obviously u cant do it on tramp exactly the same because on trampoline, take off and landing is HORIZONTAL, whereas on snow the kicker is at about 20 degrees ish and the landing is at like -30 ish, this means do do it the same on a trampoline u would end up landing on the tramp at 40 degrees/50 degrees and would therfore fall over. :)
I'm thinking that's a bio 5, i'm trying to do a flat 5 on my trampoline but i can't. I tried it so many ways and all I get is the same bio 5... If you find a way to do them you can PM me.
thats exactly what im doing :D calling it flatspin too! im pretty sure it is though :) Try with a really tweaked Japan, it should make it look a lot cooler!
