  • mainstream news media as a whole is failing in the face of its online competition.

maybe if they would report real news accurately, rather then chopped up & propagandised as well as leave the drossy celebrity gossip crap to the gossipy tabloids & rag mags they could do better. >>>>>

  • >cont>

its also well known the web is a powerful tool for the spread of information, that is exactly the reason thee government is trying to restrict it under the pretence of terrorism, copyright or pedo's.

havnt seen any pedo or terrorist crap, ant the copyright only exists due to the massive control freakery & greed of mainstream media in general.

  • I do agree that is a sad to see news papers go but their time has come. Getting your news online gives folks the ability to find multiple sources and views, and better yet is free.

  • not really. u still have to pay for internet service.

  • true, you do have to pay for the internet service but not for the news itself. Once your connected your free to get your news from where you like. And if your lucky to live in a city that provides free wi fi you might not have to pay at all.

  • Also in only a few years many more cities will be rolling out WiMax (city-wide WiFi) services for free, because being connected to the internet is becoming more and more necessary for society.

  • that was awesome

  • poor old fox XD, well.. not really Tom Merritt
