I did an ice/radar run with a stock 1996 Formula STX 583 and got 105mph(new out of crate)Then the following year I did an ice/radar run with my stock 1997 Mach 1 700 triple and did 121mph.( new out of crate).
@straightme1 nope i cant really prove it now i sold it but i had it doin that, it was geared a bit different when i bought it im not sure what was done, so im pretty sure i was lacking bottom end power for top end speed, still worked good though really snappy especially after the mbrp can was put on, it may have been in my head but after i put it on it seemed to work a tad better
@tiger0556 haha i like ski doo number 1 but polaris is my second then cat then yammy, my dad has an old polaris indy 488 fan my god its a good sled, its around 25 years old
i had a 1991 500 indy won day and had lots of new parts and i piston went in it and naw as we speek it is in the river that is were the fucking thing is going to stay that 583 what you see is a good working snowmobile.
@falloutgirl619916 thy are awesome u have a 96 it was purple it tecnicaly was a late 95 but its fast as hell and thy stand streight up when u put 144 picks down the center

@kodiak1966 i had this up to 190kmg which is around 120mph on a lake, as far as im concerened it was stock. sold it last week though :(
