Been studying Torah for a number of years...and now finishing the Zohar. What up with the Zohar??? How much of it is to be believed as part of HaShem's message to us? Some of it is quite weird. Todah rabbah.

No. I could care less what I look like. People are spiritual entities trapped in physical realities.  The less we focus on the physical and the more we accentuate the spiritual in our lives - the closer we become to our essence.

You'll also find your overall level of happiness will increase.

1 x-ian asked me when I quoted a midrash, "Why when I quote a midrash do Jews say, 'That's just a midrash,' but when u quote a midrash u believe it?" I said, "Which Jew says that about which midrash?"

There are certain ones I really like, others I simply don't, and others that I only half accept (ie: Jer. 31:19-I like the part abt the verse being abt the Exile, makes sense in context; but I don't accept that the prophet called the fathers to pray for us).
