it seems as though Noel had his "masterplan" all along and we never noticed it. Since probably 2004 he started writing songs that are masterpieces like this one and he even claimed he had the intention of getting a whole strings section and choirs like back in the 1994-1996 Oasis era. I know he will do fine on his own. As for this whole Beady Eye slamming, come on now, honestly, if you think about it, its two different style of writing. Both of them will write good tunes. Best of both worlds :)

So much potential for this song to be a classic. I really do believe Noel will go in 3 or 4 different directions on this solo record reflecting his various musical/singing styles and likings. I also believe he will do it that way as a slap down to all the "lazy journalists" and haters out there who say all his stuff sounds the same. Nothing could be further from the truth. 6 more months!

@OasisKid99 this is exactly what i`m thinking mate! i think noel`s going to surprise alot of people but to be honest, i`d be surprised if his album wouldn`t blow! some smooth acoustic-songs, some rockers like rapture or lord don`t slow me down and something like falling down and we`ll have another classic album!!!! i can`t fucking wait!!!!!!!!

Cant wait for this album to come out, no means to bash or nothin, but i think Noel was a HUGE part of Oasis, songwriting and instrumental wise. I got a good feelin this album will blow away beady eye, as much as i hate to even say that. Oasis as a whole is/was great, but Noel can definately manage on his own.

this is as good if not better than all his earlier acoustics .talk tonight .sad song..angel child masterplan .. and noels voice is so much better than liams now , hes singin natural and with real emotion and not doin that stupid contrived sneer at the end of every other word.. u gotta remember how long noels been writin and how prolific he is . i rekon hes got an albums worth of tracks that will secure his place in history as a genius (by the critics) i think hes a genius anyway

I can listen to Beady Eye when I'm trying to fall asleep. No offence, they make slightly good tunes that is better to listen to than James Blunt's songs, but when Noel releases his solo album I'm fuckin gonna buy twenty-four copies of it...
