Ahh this could work, but I bet for the fact that the Xbox fanbase is more "hardcore" and prefers the the traditional controller, then I bet this Natal won't take off far. I think Natal and Move are just Microsoft and Sony jumping on the motion control band wagon, right as its about to get derailed and turn into a train wreck.....

Though I do have to say Natal sounds and looks better than Move for the fact it doesn't require the stupid dildo controller..

THIS IS WHAT I'M WAITING FOR. If i have motion control, i don't want to play some stupid little puzzle mini game. Id buy the Wii if i wanted that. When i can play MW2 and squad games like Ghost Recon with no controller, then I'll buy into it. It's way too early for me for this motion control thing. Natal, Wii Motion Plus, Sony's dildo looking thingy, whatever. I'm waiting for something more polished.

i want to see a "first person shooter" and since it can scan skateboards i want it to scan my weapons too... then you just choose what ammunition it shoot.... in example i dura coated my G3 broomstick blah blah its scans it takes color and makes the weapon then you choose the ammunition in this case its .308 or just have ass loads of weapons built in that you can scan yours and actually use it! awesome idea for online multiplayer id pay 5 grand for it! if of coarse i had 5 grand

rainbow six vegas didn't have an m-16 or m-4, so that would be great for games that left certain weapons out, but it somehow needs to be balanced with other weapons if you want to use it in multiplayer, unless you're doing something rediculous in the next CoD modern warfare game, like using a musket or archey weapons. but if you use archery weapons, it would be great to customize the tip of the arrow. i would SO use Rage broadheads!

I don't see what's so terrible about using your hands for guns and such. And even if you wanted to use a controller, recent info about Fable 3 has determined that at least some games will combine the controller and Natal. There's nothing to be scared of.

Everybody who wants to see the next Elder Scrolls game use Project Natal, put a thumbs up next to my comment. ES is what Natal was DESIGNED for, Halo, Gears and Call of Duty would be nice but I don't think they would work, being FPS experiences... However, using a controller to move around in the game world and then moving your arms to attack/block/defend would be frickin' awesome.

Yeah... I've got a feeling Natal is going to be more gimmicky and "cheap", like the Wii (I *am* a Nintendo fan and not hating on Ninty, btw), than deep or explorative... We can expect a slew of "party games" and rushed-off casual games, maybe a few decent titles on release; like any product Microsoft releases it will undoubtedly abuse it, and I don't think it will be quite as good as it's being hyped up to be... Still excited though.

RMBolt has a point. Microsoft was built for "business", mac was built for "media". I run my bussiness out of my home, so I use Vista (which works just fine if you keep it updated). I stick with Zune because I wanna keep it simple by usin all microsoft, and it's what I know and am comfortable with. If I was a musician, i know i would get a macbook for the programs they have that would help me in that situations. I think its not so much pro's and con's until you get down to what you need it for
